Meta Car VS Meta Tune in Forza Motorsport Endurance

- As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass. I do not have the VIP, or cars pass, this is the basic game as available to everyone.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

Also worth to note, I penalized myself off the start by a little over 5 seconds off the line

Regardless without some silly mistakes it would be a win
On both sides man, if I stayed a little more consistent I think I would have kept up better to.
I drove on Kyalami in the Levorg and did a 1 Stop strat and completely annihilated all these Audis, i guess that Subi is even more powerful
That subi is beyond op when given in the right hands bud. It has great power great handling and always been amazing and the best on tire wear. The only downfall is it does have a lot of drag so top speed isn’t its strength. Everything else on a longer race it’s basically unbeatable
I don't understand why turn 10 developers put gravel/sand on the entry and exit kerbs, means u can't use all the circuit
Yeah it really throws you off bud, I mean if it was not so detrimental I would be ok with it but my gosh it really throws your car right of balance which i think is over the top
Must have been the day for epic endurance racing with Audi V's Ford. I had a race against my 18 year old Son ( who is considerable faster than me), Me in the audi and him in the focus. I got stuck in traffic after pitting giving him a decent lead. Last lap I was on Softs going hard, hard soft on my strategy. He went medium 3 times. On the line I over took him but had a second more in pentaties 1.7 v 2.7 seconds. Game gave it to him but the times where identical after 27 laps. When the game is good it's great. Just wish they would sort the penalty system out. Getting 4.7 seconds for hitting a car that is spinning out in front of you is not acceptable.

Ooooo so close lol. Penalties are such a pain. Especially in endurance. Yeah I think overall you can make a slow car fast. By just being more consistent and having a better tune. I only won by luck really. Towards the end we were both dropping in consistency.
You are right when the game is good it is amazing. I totally agree the system needs sorting as well as matchmaking. Hahahaa i love getting the penalties for being spun out doing a 920 totally out of control and a car clips me on the way past and somehow that’s my fault lol.
