I cannot compare it to gt7 but I have seen an exploit on the track. What’s broken about it

I have not played gran turismo since number 4. But I have to say I did enjoy it. Yeah this game has its quirks. But online is amazing in general.

you will need to download the game, as its around 120gb but you can play it offline.

​@@Flashms I know the game doesn't save anything while playing offline, but do you know if you can use (while offline) the cars that you bought and customized when you were previously online?

Yeah that should not be a problem. And the game will save offline. Then once you are online again it’ll update the online save with the new progression. Save as online. Anything online will work offline.

i have only tried controller once, but i am myself on a wheel, i do hear changing the settings from sim to normal steering helps a lot on controller stability. Yeah i gave up caring what the SR says, I think i am on A I never check anymore, doesn't mean anything lol. Tuning helps a lot. MY first tune was dreadful, then i used another tune and its far more stable. Worth checking that out. Still tail happy but yeah tuning made a difference. Yeah the parking lot is pretty funny, everyone just sends it in. Like take a step back, entering and being part of the problem isnt going to fix the problem lol.

The fastest lap I’ve seen on a lobby was 2:08 and that was super rare because usually only 2:10-2:11 are the lap times. I could get 2:10 to 2:09 with a keyboard tho

Man that time is insane with a keyboard lol. Like WTF lol. I mean I get to 2:11 or high 2:10. Which isn’t bad I guess.

@ Forza Motorsport really is good for keyboard players honestly cuz it allows me to compete competitively unlike other racing games, where it really needs a steering wheel. I play assetto corsa competizione on a keyboard too. It’s just nowhere near to a good lap time. Always 4-7 seconds off. So There’s this method I call tap-tap where you constantly tap and tap the keyboard to steer wisely. Just a lot of practice. But honestly I don’t think I’ll be good on a steering wheel tho 😂

haahahha first time my lobbies have been rough lol. Soft to last 4 laps like what lol. I barely get them past 2 lol. Guess like you say TC helps a lot. keeps the rear in check. Thats fair, I try to be smooth and consistent. The consistent part i do struggle with but that will come with time. Thanks bud much appreciated :D

​@@Flashms I know you like your hard tyres, but I find them particularly slow on this track. I get about 2s / 4s better lap times out of the medium / soft tyres. I also never had problems getting 4 laps out of the softs without drop offs in the last lap. I even tried 5 laps on them once. The last lap was very sketchy and more than 6s slower than the rest, but overall it is still a bit faster than using mediums for that stint if you can manage to avoid the walls ;-)

last lap was sketchy lmfao true words right there lol. I mean I calculate how much slower I am per lap to people on mediums, then work out average race time, and then yeah math the F out of it lmfao. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. no different than being on medium tires. Oddly enough, I am much more consistent and faster on medium or hards than i am on softs. Which is really why i play the long game.

Yeah the new ghost and crash physics are a little off at times. Not had what you are explaining yet though.

Sounds like a weird bug. Could be a ping issue too. I have seen it once or twice. Once I have seen a car smash others of the track. But from their point of view they was not even close to the other drivers. Yeah weird lol.

Yeah. I was talking to a friend and we sort of agree that I think it’s become a bit of a trend to slate forza just for the sake of it. When in reality, it’s really good. It does still have its quirks. But overall right now. It’s really grown into something great

I use my own tune on the Aston martin. It should be in the discord (link in Description). Not a great tune to be honest. There is a lot of improvements to be made to make the rear end a little more stable. But it does the job lol

Oh yeah we have been saying this for a long time. They need to drop a track pack and give us a good 5-10 new tracks. 1 new track every 2 months is slow work and by the time we have a decent amount of tracks to choose from the game will be 10 years old lmfao

@@Flashms Totally and now that EVO is coming and looks to be on par graphic wise to Forza, when it finally releases proper, people will drop forza like there is no tomorrow. People will mod that game in any which way possible and i think it will overtake everything else. There is close to a terrabyte if not more of content for the OG asseto, almost too much and you have to mod it way to hard to make it look good. Most of the track look like early unreal engine maps and even with the mods it looks pretty much. Only content from the last few years have good graphics, but we all know that. Automobilista is trying , they have revamped their UI to tru to save their game because i think they know that EVO is gonna wreck them. It is the same deal with them. They just did the real life track and never really went outside that box. That will cost them soon enough. Iracing is good for tracks but the graphics are looking tired. Strangely enough i think GT7 is the only game that does more tracks? ( Maybe?) i don't own a console but i think they are doing well and from what little i have or looked into, it looks very very good. Forza is also in desperate mode. You can smell it. Usually a company would not just give that much content freely. They can smell EVO coming and are trying to stay attractive by offering free content. It won't matter. Who would not like to take their car and drive a 100KM stretch of crazy road in a competitive way?. That is what Forza is missing. Putting that kind of stuff in a semi goofy game like horizon is not helping things.

Yeah evo does look good. It’s great to hear they worked hard with the modding community to build the game. Great choice from the devs. But If I remember correctly it will be pc first then ported to console later. I could be wrong of course. Yeah mods made the last game and I do believe they kept that in mind with the development of this one so like you say. It’ll be endless really Yeah I did the old super touring cars (purchase able mod and available to members if you want to see it) and did competition with lfm. Which was sick. I have not tried automobilista. Sadly. I did raceroom iracing and rennsport. Yeah iracing graphically is outdated. Cars look good though but the tracks to me are far too long in the tooth graphically. Well you may say that but the constant live service updates was planned so I would not say they are giving stuff away for that reason. But they intended it to be monthly updates which is one of the reasons why it’s on game pass to. Provides a contestant income which then they can provide these updates. Base game was empty. Which is why the term built from the ground up was created as they re engineered the engine so they can drag and drop new updates without to much of a problem. Of course the term was used incorrectly but the intention of live updates was always there. Yeah I do think we need more in forza. We shall see what ac evo brings. Never know we could all be wrong and it may be crap lmfao. These days haven’t held much optimism lmfao.

Did you notice RTGI in cockpit view? coz I hardly notice any difference and I use 4090

I have not tested it yet. I don’t think it’s going to affect the cockpit view all that much. Maybe more for track and car exterior visuals.

The difference is subtle. Not enough for me to turn on ray tracing anyway lol.

Mr. randomized name here that I've argued with back and forth since he created this account 7 months ago, just goes around to tell people this. Then, he goes on GT7 videos to spread lies. Lol. Track looks nice. It's nice to have it back finally. My only gripe about it, is that the night time racing at this track in FM has way too many flood lights and lamps everywhere. In real life, this track is really dark at night. T10 does this with a lot of tracks. FM became my favorite racer on console when it released in 2005 and I've been up to date since. I'll agree it is getting better with the new FM, but I still have to say...cars look like plastic still, and has many car inaccuracies as well. Some tracks inaccuracies too with oversized or flattened curbs. Materials like metal looking like plastic. I can go on. Mr. Random name, there are many racers out there. Not just FM. If it was an actual sim racer, it could be up there. PC has many more sims. Actual sims. King of racing games? That's your opinion. You can feel free to have it. It's only an opinion anyway.

@joescivic I cannot argue with what you are saying bud. A lot of what you say is very true. But improvements are being made slowly I might add. But improvements none the less. Yeah there are many more sims. I have had the luxury of trying as I am on pc. Each of the other titles also have their strengths and weaknesses. Whether people agree or not. Like you say it’s an opinion. For the fairness of forzas inaccuracies. I think the simcade is catering to both sides of the coin so if you want a real sim. On console it’s their isn’t many if any options while on pc we do have that luxury to choose. What’s your choice of poison for racing ???

a lot of those issues were fixed a while ago, so you should be able to have more tunes now.

hahahha i have no idea why we cannot have nice things, i do think a lot is lacking for an Australian event which i find silly, but you cannot expect to much from the suits, common sense fell out the department years ago lol.

@Flashms to be fair if we get a decent track I really don't mind waiting and in my opinion we can't complain at the content turn 10 have been adding. I think they are doing a decent job. My only real grumble with the game is still the ludicrous penalty system but I can live with it as annoying as it is.

@OoVECTORMANoO I totally get you bud. These updates have been amazing over the past let’s say 6 months. Since the endurance series. I would have like to see more cars for the Aussie stuff but hey ho lol. The penalty system is not perfect but it’s far from being the worse. Coming from experience and others opinions from other games. So frustrating yes. But not the worst anymore lol.

This may be just my Personal opinion but with how much of a fuss the developers kicked up about track textures and surface change I’m expecting Prague or a street track so they can actually showcase that because we haven’t really got one to showcase that yet

Amazing bud great to see you. Ah right. That race did seem chaotic though. I mean you was spun multiple times but you did claw back fast. Feathers was a pain yeah. They quit not long after like that’s the point. Oooo the drop off from the tires was insane. Like one mins you was fast the next was like running on ice lmfao.

So for multiplayer you need to click the tab to the right of introduction series. Then it’s the second one down. It says NASCAR’s in black and gold colours. For offline racing you need to set up a race and change the settings to only allow NASCAR’s
