@@Dave062YT yeah exactly. I had a plan and for a ruined it. How did they know lmfao. Honestly I did the maths after the race. I needed 20 laps of fuel for 30 minutes at 1.23 a lap on average. Crazy how far off their own calculations the game was lol
It almost looked like there was lag. Charly jumped at least a cars width in the radar quicker than i would expect. As well as them not trying the same shenanigans when given the opportunity just a moment later. Good racing!
This race reminds me of life, really. Just at your moment of zenith, and the planets and universe are aligned, the rug flies out from under you. Then the music they play in game shows when you lose invades your ears, and your mouth hangs open a bit. Made for a good video, though. Fun as always Flash.
20 laps of fuel never would have made it. I think I did 20 laps in the first half lol. Bearing in mind when I entered the pit I had a quarter of a tank remaining at least. So assuming that, adding fuel to be around 60 odd percent seemed kinda right at the time
@Flash Motorsport that's why personally I always run with a full tank of fuel at the start of the race so i don't have worry about running out of fuel, plus i like to test the Car's fuel consumption mid race anyway.
I've noticed that on a few cars. The calculation is incorrect. Always used to go down to the wire on fuel, where I'd have maybe 0.5-1.5% of fuel remaining. Did a race with a group in a C class Ginetta G40 Junior, and ended up being 1/4 of a lap short (ran out of fuel going UPHILL so naturally I was done for.) After that, I've always filled up to 100% on pit stops.. Even if I'm running a timed race, I end up going doing 100% when I pit regardless of how many laps remaining it says. I'd rather have a few tenths off my laps and not run out of fuel. What a shame though, to get that far and fall short.
Oooo really. Ha I have had the total opposite where I usually ended up with a good few laps worth of fuel left over. Enough to get me home after work lmfao. Yeah that’s fair. And a lesson I learned the hard way lol. Yeah I know. 3 mins left. Brutal lol. I was racing with hp (he was in the levorg). He was laughing his socks off at me. Couldn’t Believe it.

I think the lap 1 thing was just classic forza glue Bad Karma for using the boring 1 stop strategy :P Just kidding, the calculated laprs are based on the calculated lap time that you can see in the fuel meue at the start of the race. Usually youre some seconds faster per lap than calculated (depending on track and setup). Most of the time i do the math wihtin my first stint becaue the in-game fuel calculation is also not accurate. (And that are the two reasons why you had not enough fuel) If i have enogt practice time i use the practice to calculate fuel. Its a bit of a mess in this game compared to sim racing games. Oh in the lost LMP and LMD cars you can see your fastest playtime on the dashboard. I use a 3rd party app for the dashboard and there i can also see my fastest laptime and my actual lap time. And everything that the game puts out.
Yeah it was weird lol Boring. How is that any more boring that constantly stopping for softs lol. More strategy to look after your treat than just to send it. You Strat is boring mine is the best lmfao. Kidding Yeah my best lap overall was a 1.22 but even if that’s is the case. I would still need 21-22 laps of fuel for the final stint. Usually forza over calculates so you have some left over. This time it did not. Even if I was a second or 2 a lap quicker than before. I had a. Extra 2 laps over the estimated fuel. Which should be more than enough for margin of error. Just sucked man. It is like you say a mess. It’s not right. I mean you have no idea how many laps you have done unless you count them or check your lap time. Without using the pause menu. It’s poorly implemented. So much information missing. Oooo really. not sure what was funnier, you when it clicked about the fuel or how long it took between us to work out how many laps worth of fuel you actually needed to put in
