  • If there is anything specific you want to go into i can break things down.
I have tried many things to see if they would help recover i thought i have nothing to loose so i thought i would share what i had found helped.
I'm just speaking freely about what i had found out and am not encouraging anyone to do anything without doing their own research or contacting a professional.
But ultimately these are the foundations
    Nutrition
    Physio
    Stimulation
Supplements to help regenerate the nerves
    Mindset
    Low Stress
    Most importantly consistency!

🙏 thank u Mike. I've got an Oswestry and doing much of my daily physio at home alone. Went from 100% dead both legs to my right leg getting stiffness and strength from my hips and glutes to sorta swing it. Too weak to lift but strong enough to kind of rotate. Almost 9 months in. Left leg sort of the same. T-10 complete. Sit to stand, hours daily standing, daily full body stretching and nutrition I'm like 95% a good boy .. cheat meals every once in a while lol.
At first 3-4lb weights I couldn't barely lift with my arms cuz my abs were so weak. Now 15lbs feels like 10lbs did a few months back and 10lbs is no challenge. It's crazy how I went from doing high numbers before injury to instantly being weak af.
My biggest problem is 2 muscles that are always active in my legs which are my inner adductors. They pull my legs inwardly stiffly. So I gotta always stretch my back and legs to loosen up, also, I did have some crippling from being in a chair for the first few months. Had a chest tube etc and immense ab pain so I couldn't even stand up in physio til like 3-4 months later. Took me a while just to be erect, then even longer to now rest my upper weight into my hips in a straight(er) line. I can even sometimes find balance and not need to use my hands on the standing frame. That was my recent biggest achievement. Now I can find no hand balance daily when I practice standing but my legs will buckle if I don't use the knee part. So I'm slowly just building my core, my hips and stiffening up my muscles from the top down because I want to load weight on hopefully someday.
Your videos along with other heroes releasing this content gives a lot of mental comfort and motivation. I may not get what I want, but I actually believe I will recover and haven't had 1 single day off in months since I got my standing frame.
Thank you for all your help ! I made a FB group of other motivational bloggers called " walk again ! Spinal cord injury recovery stories " and encourage others to take a look. It's a resource that brings me comfort but also I hope it does for others, hope u don't mind me posting up ur videos there !
    Hope u regain 100% and more !
    🙇🙇🙇

Awsome I had one of those theyvare great! With the movement do as much as you can yourself but don't be afraid to get someone to assist you to try and increase the range of movement. It will help with the mind muscle connection.
Stretching and deap breathing helps to relax the muscles. Try and encoperate both at the same time it will aid muscle relaxation. 9 months is very early in. Bare in mind nothing moved much for me until about a year but I had flickers ans worked them until they progressed. Well done Just keep doing as much as you can and give your body the nutrition it needs to recover and grow.

Aw thank you and feel free to share as much as you please. The darkest days of Sci are at the beginning but just see this as a marathon and not a sprint. The mentality of just keeping on going one metaphoric l foot infront of the other every day in the right direction. If you stay posative and work hard you will be rewarded and for me it means I can go to sleep knowing dam well I've done everything I can to try. Link your channel il check it out!
Never give up my man! You got this 👍 💪
