In regards to the Maytag, I just helped my neighbor repair the wiring on his pump (Wires ripped off pump for the 3rd time due to unbalance), and yes, flipping the machine back to access the dead pump did make a heck of a mess. Told him to get a Speed Queen when the Maytag dies.

Wow, Jason! We’re sorry you and your neighbor had to go through that, but we appreciate your recommendation of our brand. While we never want a repair to be needed, we definitely keep accessibility in mind to make any potential service as smooth an experience as possible.

Absolutely nobody can convince me otherwise. Speed Queen is the way to go. Everything is accessible at your fingertips in the event of an issue. Also, no plastic bearing to go bad like the Maytag. I am enjoying my TR7. She operates as smooth as a V12 engine.

Just got a speed-queen set delivered yesterday. Top loading TC5000 series I think it’s called. Clothes washed in 35 min so basic but so over the “ smart “ machines

Why don’t ANY of them have an on/off valve to the pump? Thereby, if the tub IS full of water, nothing would need to be “pinched off” risking ruining the hose to the pump.

I work as a factory technician for one of these companies. Guess which one (only one with factory service) I agree with the opinions here. When it comes to laundry equipment I would choose sq and I have recommended when asked by consumers.
