It is the level of investigation that is put in by the security registrar to confirm that the entity is who they say they are that varies. For instance, a Nike website will have Nike.com green badge next to the URL. That means an independent authority has verifeid domain ownership...Not that they have better or stronger encryption

There are many free plug ins, does it means they should also not be used? (Chapt 15)
I'd suggest checking a free plugins review section before installing it...in case people are mentioning security or support issues
