Demand is really high, its amazing how couple years before social media populaity Gore use to advertise in newspaper i.e New Harbour Village and no one was place on waiting list. Demand is higher than supply right now.

my guess, these are short term rental homes owned by people overseas
The building of a public hospital is the sole responsibility of the CENTRAL GOVERNMENT.
In the meantime, there are 2 private hospitals in Portmore, namely: Portmore Hospital Complex and the other is new and just opening along 85 route after you pass the BK and KFC heading to Naggo Head.

Some of the hardest house to get smh
These are starter homes or for persons looking to downsize esp for the price. If u want space buy and Build in spanish town st thomas or all the way in may pen side. Highways are there so commute is no longer an issue. Otherwise no point complaining about the size. Gore has been building a LONG time obviously they know there is a market for these small homes hence the long waiting lists

Re the distance they said a Taxi stand is oroose for the outside, oh dear which I couod purchase a nect one.
The only thing am concern about, when the other phases finish how are we going to get in and out of Portmore, it is so much congested now i can imagine couple years from now, the company who is building all those houses is not living in that part of Portmore, we may not going to flood but what about sinking, there's no proper drainage systems , as we get two days of good rain the place flooded, and it wasn't this bad but with all these/those house building its getting out of hand, its time Gore go out in in so other parishes and construct buildings,
I never hear of flooding or any land sinkage in portmore. There is a new road being built to lead to Mandela.
@@dedan2 Exactly so. We don’t have anywhere sinking when it rains. These areas being developed are near to Spanish Town and therefore you can exit from Spanish Town or to Mandela. We have good drainage in Portmore unlike Marcus Garvey Drive and many areas of Kingston.

@dedan2 the place do flood out nowadays, I have been living in Portmore from 1978, bought a house in South Boro 1980, and one in Bridgeport, and in a heavy rain couple months ago water was going from front to back in people houses, because of drain problems, am not there now but I have videos of people houses been flooded out, so I know what am talking about, I am living in that part of the parish from Independence City was the first housing scheme, and when there was no Cause Way Bridge, uhummmmm,

Arnt these houses sold off. The last time I checked with Gore office in New Kingston thats what the developers said. None was available until two or three years time.

@@tripleb1960 how you mean? Which mess ? Densification is a necessary approach so councils can provide services water roads better and we dont have the land for everybody to spread out like that

You should let the wife do more of the narration. The husband repeat himself too much and sound like he's struggling to find descriptive words. The wife flows easily with conversations. The husband can talk and give his input, but the wife should carry the narrations in the next videos

Where are the creative architects that leave utech it's time for you guys to be creative and innovative come up with new designs it's a shame all the houses are the same
The original portmore borders were everything inside Gregory park, waterford, breaton, Cumberland, Edgewater, Bridge view (built in the early 90s), Port Henderson, bayside and everything inside of that circumference. Hellshire Heights, hellshire Park and Johnson Hill and beyond was not part of portmore. Greater Portland more was only built in the 90s and continually expanded until now in but was never part of original Portmore
Sounds like you’re describing development to me. That’s normally how borders are shifted when an area develop. Check on the borders of Ocho Rios/Montego Bay while you’re at it!
@@TheDelprattFamily no, not describing developments. What I'm saying is the these communities/ developments are the outer communities that encompasses historic portmore.
@@user-ik2ve3yd4nwhat I’m saying is that when an area develop, the boundaries typically change by expansion. All cities around the world including those I mentioned above swell to include new areas in surrounding areas. Right now, Ocho Rios include parts of even St. Mary.
These developments are a disappointment. It is too Americanized. Where is the island charm?

THIS IS THE BIG PROBLEM WITH JAMAICAN DEVELOPERS, IT SEEN THAT THEY JUST LOVE UGLY HOUSES, UGLY UGLY. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, THE HOUSES ARE OF THE MODERNIST STYLE, WHICH MAKE THEM TIMELESS AND ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.

Most starter homes are that way.
Jamaican houses most of them are so boring I am not seeing first world designs nothing eye catching all the house except for a few seems to be the same design
