Well I would understand a large bill in the summer but my winter electric bill came to be $1090.00 and we haven't used our AC'S and our heat is heated with natural gas. So idk what the hell is going on!

What is the recirculating fan you speak of? Is it in the attic?

I was wondering that too, I think it's part of the HVAC/furnace the blower fan. But I could be wrong

years ago i stopped using all my electricity other than like a few lights and phone charger, and they barely reduced my bill. i asked them if they were physically reading the meter and they kind of sounded like they thought i was dumb or crazy. such a rip off. i went from using like 15kwh a day to like less than a kwh per day and my bill went down like 20 bucks... then my friend lived in the boondocks and they never went to read meters and he was using unlimited electricity and paying some fixed amount from 1980....
