Not quite. A smile and a wave from a member of service staff in my country would require setting up a surplus charge of 400-600$ depending on the region. But for them to be happy about it, you'd be looking at +5K$😅
I really love how the towns folk take time out of their day to wave flags and flash smiles to the passengers. How sweet is that? Your breakfast looked amazingly onolicious.
There is something just so incredibly special about the various trains in Japan where you see locals out standing by their homes, schools or business waving to people on the train. Love it! (you don't see that on the BART train in San Francisco or Oakland...)
This looks like it would be a perfect for the very first excursion to take on your first visit to Japan. Great scenery and everybody seems extra enthusiastic. Don't think I've seen anyone lining the streets on any of the other specialty trains waving as you appraoch.
Thanks for taking us on this interesting adventure! I would love to see you collection of stamps! I love that you get one on each trip! Can't wait to see where you will go and what you will do next time! - DD☮
What a great sightseeing train! I love how the people of the towns you pass through wave as you come and go. To bad it's not like that in other countries. Thank you for taking us on the journey!
I see you're probably from Manitoba. There used to be a steam train from North Vancouver to Squamish called the Royal Hudson, and the locals used to wave like that. Of course, like most trains in this country, it was cancelled in the 1990's.
@@carolemerle9995 the good thing is, trains in Germany are super connected, but they dont have that japanes style, they just dirty and expensive here 🤔
An older lppking train but fitted out in a splendid livery. Windows that open up the sightseeing experience so well.. Great photography thanks . Bushyboy Oz.
I would like to sit at one of the counter seats and eat a rice flour bagel while looking at the sea! I also like the Japanese train ladies in their cute uniforms! The sightseeing trains you have been showing us lately are fabulous, Itsuka-san. Thank you!💚
I love how this train looks very fancy and casual at the same time:)) I also sometimes ride trains over Japan, but I’ve never had this yet! I’ll take a look it too! Thanks for introducing this! I’ve been also traveling over Japan and make videos about introducing attractive gems! So if you are interested in, feel free to watch mine’s too:)
Great video but what are all of the numbers beside the cost of the cake? Confused. I always love watching you get the various stamps of the ships, trains, etc. and the goods/souvenirs/game arcade things that you get. Always so beautiful.
This is very interesting. I am trying to figure out how to schedule such a trip starting in Tokyo. And how does one book it? Do any foreign tourists ride it? I didn't see any English on the menu. The desert looked fabulous until you said there was chocolate in it. For me chocolate destroys the taste of citrus.
I love this sort of thing! I'll have to put this on list of experiences to have at some point. Maybe I'll plan an all-Shikoku holiday at some point. It's a beautiful region for winding down and enjoying nature for a change 😍 Btw, Gorou station reminded me of something. Can't quite put my finger on it. Is there some obscure interesting thing nearby that was in a video a while ago maybe? (could be from somebody else...) I can't stand not remembering something 😀
I’ve always wondered. Why in Japan do people and workers at the station wave, fly flags, and the like when you are leaving or arriving on trains and boats? We don’t do this where I am from and genuinely am curious as to the tradition and culture of it.

A beautiful train and beautiful scenery.
I really appreciate the Japanese tradition of waving to travelers. It costs nothing and brings happiness!😊🧡

I want a job that has go-outside-and-wave-at-train breaks.
In Australia a smile & a wave is part of the job & even those standing by will wave.
Thank you for your videos!
These sightseeing trains look so much fun, good food, beautiful landscapes and I love the local greeters!

Does the train brings you back to where you board the train ? Or does it stope / ends at some other city ? Thanks.

I always find the greetings in the train stations very nice. We don't have anything like that here. Is that only done on excursion trains like this?

I'd love to visit. How tolerated are unmasked people?
