Had this helmet for 3 years. The button caps fall off very easily, and is the most painful helmet you could possibly get. 5 minutes in is all it will take to make your head throb.
A year later. Thank you for your comment. There's very little information out there as to why it was discontinued in 2021. Every now and then they pop up in the used market and it's good to know that a regular Speedflex is a better option.
You guys are always one step ahead.

i want Riddell and vicis to work together
No, helmet began to evolve not only because of information and science. But because the helmet market become mor competitive. When rideel was a complete monopoly, no one said anything about head injuries. But now addressing that issue is a key factor in the industry. And the rising competition improves the product, and players safety as a result
We have these helmets for the school, and i got to say, the first 10 minutes of me wearing the helmet, the amount of pain and discomfort i was in during my practice was not good, i could focus on anything what the coach was saying without me hurting, worst thing i’ve felt putting on since i’ve played freshman year

I got this helmet my freshman year. It really hurts about two inches up my ear. I have been wearing it for a week now. Does it get any better?

@@atv627av nah bro it doesn't, after about 3 weeks of breaking in the helmet and thinking it was gonna stop giving me a headaches it doesn't. the shit super uncomfortable and you feel everything when you get hit, someone did helmet to helmet contact and it felt like I didn't have a helmet on at all, had a headache for like 3 days, trust if you gonna get a helmet get the Riddell speedflex 2020 version that on has wayyyyyyyyyy better padding and you don't feel anything but the vibration of the helmet and is super comfortable trust bro trade in this helmet for the older one it'll serve you right

Purchased this helmet for my son. First...The jaw size was all wrong. Riddell wouldn’t exchange the jaw pads and would only replace it for $90. Riddell also had terrible customer service. Second...when the diamond padding gets cold, the flexibility leaves the helmet...very nervous about the safety of my son this winter! After spending $568, I had hoped it was a good purchase. Very disappointed!
