I wonder what the odds on Barrett winning DPOY were before the season. The bet slip on that must have been absolutely BONKERS...and valuable.
“...the prettiest swim move you’re ever going to see.” Yeah, don’t say that if you’re not talking about Dwight Freeney. Otherwise, great post.
Where my Devin bush video
Long video to just say he lowered the difficulty and pass blocking sliders
You’re a funny guy you swore up and down Dallas would beat the Saints well that didn’t happen So now it’s a Tampa Bay video on a player you won’t hear from in 2 years
Honestly, i never heard of this dude before this season. This is why the nfl is so much fun.
Not if you are a bronco
That's because players don't last. It's no secret it's Not For Long.
The only reason i've heard of him is because he had a card in madden 18
He was behind Von Miller and Chubb on the depth chart of the Broncos, that's why you probably didn't hear of him. Was used only in a "backup linebacker" role, not even an edge pass rusher. Here many things come into play for his success - he was given a chance to be a starter, and he was placed as an edge pass rusher where he thrives.
LukasH he was a standout backup as a bronco, just never had a chance
Rooting for Shaq Barrett to win DPOY. To go from Undrafted to 9 sacks in 4 games is absurd
C D do you think he can get the record👀
SM_ benji there’s no way, I think he slows down. I’ll guess he’ll have around 16 sacks at the end of the season.
SM_ benji no. It’s called a fluke.
@@yalixo1304 14 sacks in 12 games is a tall order, but he already has 9 in 4 so who the hell knows? He's still got to take on Brees when he returns healthy, Ryan twice, the same Panthers O-line he wrecked in Week 2, Wilson, Murray, Stafford, Brissett, Minshew, Mariota, and Watson. That's 4 of the better mobile QBs and 1 with one of the quickest releases in the league. Ask again after he takes on Teddy Bridgewater and the Saints.
He was drafted by the broncos in like 14 or 13
I love how the nfl is so unpredictable right now. There's always something odd every week. Never expect shaq barret or gardener minshew would headline as top stories at all
That's the reason it's most popular team sport in U.S.
Ahh yes. My favorite player mr gardener minshew. He is such a great gardener
Chino Bino the patriots are the only constant
@@khal7702 it's the most popular sport in the U.S. period. Not just team sport, but most popular sport in general.
The old names are fading, the new ones are coming.
Time for a new era~
Shaq Barrett once peed in a semi's gas tank as a prank.
That truck is now known as Optimus Prime.
Dude I’m a Buccaneers fan but common don’t lie. We all know that was Gardner Minshew.
🤔😂🤣😂🤣
As a Broncos fan, this video hurts. But damn am I happy for this guy.
Especially with your record right now
Had to say it 😂
IT HURTS MAN, IT HURTS
Yeah, but he has to live in Florida. Poor guy. lol
Seeing him beat Whitworth is scary, if an elite tackle has trouble with his moves Barret would feast on some of the bottom of the barrel offensive lines (i.e. the Bengals line)
they do play the Texans later this year.
Ramcyzk, and Armstead has no problems
I remember this guy coming into the game when DeMarcus Ware needed a break and he always looked good, I was surprised they took chubb having him on the roster
Imagine how different that team might be now if instead of Chubb they took someone like Nelson or Lamar Jackson with Barrett next to Miller?
@@erosennin211 yeah hindsight is 20/20 but Chubb was a beast coming out of college and is still a great pick.
@@austinsnyder77ol I agree, I really wanted him on my Bucs last year. Hope he has a quick recovery and comes back strong next year.
I’ve been thinking this as well. It was a tough choice. Chubb was expected to be taken earlier in the round. Thought for sure broncos were going to get Rosen or Jackson, but Chubb is one of those talents you know will make an impact immediately.
This season has been so strange already
I know right, the Dolphins going 0-4 with a great defense and an elite qb 🤣🤣🤣.
@@kindleyfernand4389 Remember when people thought the Broncos would go 9-7 and compete for the wild card?
@@angrysammich5762 🤣🤣🤣 💯.
The Browns might actually be kinda good. And the Lions too. But most importantly somehow the 49ers are back. It’s been a veeeery strange season.
And don’t even get me started on pornstache down in Jacksonville…
I remember seeing him in Denver and loving his play and now he’s finally got a chance to prove me right that he is good
D'KODA I feel happy for him because I liked what I saw in Denver and want him to do well
D'KODA I’d say he a little above average lol
tacosrock 11 good is above average he isn’t elite or great but he’s good, serviceable, and that’s what truly mayters
D'KODA he been elite so far for bucs. Lol
Moving him to the line as a rusher was the best thing that could happen to him, even as a buc
Miller and Ware:
Taught em everything he knows.
No, those dudes taught him some but no one uses his techniques like he does
The most sacks he had in Denver in one season was 5.5 his starting year. He has 9 sacks with Tampa....if they taught him anything, they didn’t teach him well.
TruthHurts he didn’t get his chance in Denver. He was usually on the bench
@@StaindandDisturbed he also was never a starter there. So yeah, they probably did teach him
True. He has said it himself in many interviews. They taught him 99% of what he knows. Hell he claimed Chubb even taught him a thing or two.
Technique and intelligence > physical gifts.
Wise Mantle but not when it comes to the Bosas, apparently 🙄
@@TheWarrior949 yeah they are un godly physically gifted
@@TheWarrior949 the Bosas have serieus technique though, with physical gifts.
Any white non-QB/K/P in the NFL is on massive amounts of steroids. The Bosas are juiced to the gills, that's their only "physical gift".
Ok donte
I’ve noticed it ever since the Khalil Mack video, Brett. Your D-Lineman videos are the absolute best of your content. Love it
As a Broncos fan, this is a bittersweet video to watch.
always had faith in my boy barrett, was always trading for him on madden 😤
Always got him for nothing too
Everytime I traded for him he would almost always get at 8 sacks
So glad the Bucs are getting recognition but please.... Fingers crossed for no Kollman curse. Great video Brett
Bucs D-line reeaaaal stacked. JPP, Suh, Vea...one of them eating up a double team for sure, Barrett is the speedster specialist. I love how their D-line is built.
JPP is on IR has been all season.
@@hufft3 hell be back week 8
T Huff all we need is a elite corner
On that interception, I'm impressed Goff got the ball out before he was sacked. That looked scary.
A VIDEO FEATURING THE BUCS?! I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE THIS HAPPEN!
This guy learned from D Ware and Von and DAMN HE CAPITALIZED on it. Glad for this guy, he deserves to be a starter for years to come.
I love how you break down stuff we don't see (us normal people). I have learned alot watching these. Keep up the good work!
Tampa hasn't had a pass rush like this since simeon rice, Warren sapp and them boys back in the early 2000's.
As a bucs fan this makes me so happy
Max 28 me too! Go Bucs!!!
What a great way to start off my morning! One of my favorite things that you do on you're channel, Brett, is pash rush analysis. I don't know what it is, but there's something so comforting about you breaking down something as deceptively complex, yet easy to understand, as someone getting to the QB. I'll be honest, I wasn't quite on the Shaq hype train, but after the Rams game, I was really considering a ticket. But after this, I'm here for the whole ride. Can't wait to see where Shaq goes!
I like the Olineman vids
Brett: blah blah hes 6'2 its amazing what he can do at that small
Be me, 5'7: well damn, im f*cked then
God this makes me feel something I’ve never felt before as a bucs fan
Boner?
@@tallflguy LMAO 🤣 I'm dead 💀
You aren’t a Bucs fan yet for Simeon Rice, were you? It’s kool, that was 10+ years ago.
I KNOW RIGHT
Now if only our secondary could defend the pass
Ndamukong Suh seems to make d-lines better
He and Vita are doing phenomenal jobs eating up blocks, they've both come close to getting sacks themselves but they are setting the tone for the best rush defense in the league so far.
This man was a 3rd string D-lineman on the 2015 Broncos roster. Think about that for a second...
From all of us Bucs fans, thank you Broncos.
That winning spin sack was🔥🔥🔥
Yeah he executed it to perfection
Bucs would be 3-1 if the kicker didn't miss that FG vs the Giants.
I’m a bronco fan and I miss this dude so bad he was one of my favorites. Great football player, always thought he was better than first round pick shane Ray.
Id love to see you talk about george kittle currently the highest graded player on PFF, and has shown he is the best TE in the game.
Nice, a bucs video. Great work as always Brett.
Can you do a 49ers D analysis? They always get pressure without blitzing.
lone Simple, They have one of the best if not the best D line
I´d like to see something about our running game
Thank you soo much for your videos!! Huge Bucs fan here, really appreciate how you break a player down to the small details, i have seen multiple videos and subscribed!!
Brett uploads at 6 AM?
*I can sleep later*
You don't go to sleep until after 6 AM?
As a Bronco fan, I'm super happy for Shaq. I knew he'd kill it once he got his time to shine. He's always had it in him.
He’s just too thicc
Cody Stafford fruity
gay
Like oatmeal
Cody Stafford
Colin Cowherd: *heavy breathing*
@@guyfalks9801 but is he trunky too?
He was a beast in Denver for us, but he was always behind von, dware and ray. I swear every time he came on to the field he got a sack
Do one on Whitney Mercilus and how Clowney's move helped him this year!
Who's here after the super bowl?? Shaq Barrett was a major factor in Tampa's win last night
Great episode, Brett! Any plans to do a film room on Minshew Mania and whether Nick Files is getting his job back?
Helluva video.
I'm gonna need a Vita Vea video to accompany this one. Vea's out there opening up opportunities for everyone.
These videos are extremely well made. Keep the content coming Brett!
Brett Kollmann, very nice Breakdown on my son...I loved it..Thanks. .Us fans really appreciate what you do...A Huge Huge Thanks
He was doing this in Denver too. I swear whenever he got subbed in he’d either get the sack or almost get there. Every single time.
Your statement is so true..He always aas around the ball..
Waited for Tampa video soooooooooo long. Thx Brett
Nine sacks is huge in four games, but he had eight in three games so i honestly could see him turning up later in the season. To go from undrafted to playing that well is a thing to watch every sunday.
Good for him! I hope he cashes in big time as a FA in the spring
I’m still so sad Denver let him go still confused y we never played him enough.
Von Miller and Bradley Chubb who do you bench to let him play more?
Hindsight is 20/20 my friend
@@MoistGranny-fr5hb I mean he was leaving either way he wanted to be a starter and you are not going to bench either of your first round picks... Even now if it was a pick between Shaq Or Von or Shaq or Chubb Elway is going with Von and Chubb.
That sad part is, we played Shane Ray more just because he was a first round pick. Meanwhile Barrett was lightyears ahead of the dude, and could have been wreaking havoc for us more often than he did in smaller sample sizes. The team just doesnt know how to evaluate talent I guess.
@@SSDJ816 well I mean Vance Joseph was the head coach and Joe Woods was the DC and neither of them seemed to know what they were doing lol... And I am being to wonder about John
Great stuff Brett! Barrett has some of the filthiest moves in the league. I'm convinced smaller ends like Joe Ostman and Nate Harvey from previous drafts can still be highly effective, and Barrett's success at his size supports that. Thanks again!!
It took a dude setting a sack record to get Brett to make a video on the Bucs🙄
Thanks, only been waiting 2 years for this
rt ws what else have the bucks done to warrant a video the past 5 years let alone 2? I know Evans is a beast but when your on a garbage team you don’t get any love unless you are breaking records like Barrett, and I’m a niners fan so I know what I’m talking about here lol
@@treyarea413 as bad as we've been, we've still had some great games the last few years but Brett would rather break down the latest packers-vikings game for the 30th time or go on a hyperbolic rave about some rookie that's playing well. Just wish the guy would talk about some of the lesser known topics sometimes. Pretty sure before this he's done a video on pretty much every single team besides the Bucs
@@blahblah14722 Your bias is showing lmao. But as a Skins fan, I feel you. Gotta understand that some videos are simply gonna get more clicks, though and he probably has hundreds of ideas being thrown at him.
I watch all your videos and I love the way you explain, examine and break down a particular players game. I was wondering if you could do a video on Russell Wilson this year. He’s so underrated but playing lights out. I know you did one last year but it seems like MVP is his next stop. And keep doing a wonderful job my man.
Bretts videos on pass rushers are by far my favorite
Any Broncos fan knew all of this already, it honestly hurt to have him leave in free agency. He is going to continue to be a beast he got to learn from von so that spin move is no surprise to me. SHAQ ATTACK. Colorado killin it.
Also if yall looking for another "no name guy" watch the Broncos on sunday and look out for Malik Reed... He going to be another special one.
Can't wait to see what this guy can continue to so. he's been unstoppable so far this year.
Barrett must have their second Carolina game circled with little pink hearts, he'll get to feast off of #60 again
This dude will probably get like 25 sacks
I sure hope so but Carolina has some fast ass WRs and their offense is popping with Allen in at QB, hope the coverage is top notch so he holds it long enough for Shaq to get him.
About time someone made a video about my Bucs!
I been following him since the Broncos picked him up!! Love Shaq Barrett and how far he’s come. He put a lot of work this offseason and it shows. I’m very happy he’s shining on his new team! I’m still a ride or die Bronco fan, but I’m always rooting for Shaq
MMMMMM, yummy 4 A.M videos. My kollmann addiction has been quenched. Still, I NEED MOAR FILM ROOM!!!!!!!!!
What a beast. We needed this video
Great video. I learned a lot!
It's good to see that Tampa is having a good defense again. Barrett, duh, David lookin’ good
Tampa's pass rush imo was never in question. Their secondary is still in question though
@@jahmallidge5115 The secondary is young and having *MAJOR* , the turnovers that D is getting doesn't take the sting away from the fact that they've given up almost 1200 yards in 3 games.
He’s playing the way we expect another #58 to play. *EHEMMILLEREHEM*
Great video as always Brett ✅
I'm so happy for you Shaq. Life long bronco fan. I knew you were being slept on. Play the man. Than pay the man !
Play at 7:40 reminds me of the same INT play that Miller made in the Broncos V Patriots 2015 AFC Championship game.
Good work Brett keep it up
top stuff as always
I`ve always heard abot converting power to speed but never understood it. Thank you for finally give me an example.
Shaq Barrett had an unbelievable year! I think he will once again be a dominant force this upcoming season for the Buccaneers. Now that Tom Brady is on the team I think they are a super bowl contender & will win the NFC South! Great episode Brett!
They just won lol
Really good video thank you!
Love your videos
I would love to see one on T.J Watt, Keep up the great work!
Broncos fan here and known about this guy for years, was a stud and so happy that he finally got a chance, pissed that it was with another team. This is straight up the influence of Von Miller at play here and it looks like Elvis Dumervil and Demarcus Ware are really building themselves their own little pass rushing tree.
Always loved watching Shaq play in Denver. I live near Fort Collins so I got to see Shaq play at CSU. It’s a shame the Broncos let him go but I’m happy to see him succeeding in Tampa.
He gonna mess around and break the sack record in a season.
got that bruce smith spin move workin like a champ
Great stuff, would love to see an episode on the Vikings and why they can’t seem to figure it out. Just as they solve one issue another always seems to pop up.
The Broncos really had no idea about him 🤦🏼♂️
Nick Karlin They definitely did, but he was behind Von Miller, Demarcus Ware, and Bradley Chubb. He wasn’t gonna start and he didn’t want to be a backup so they let him go somewhere that he could.
@@swagkelly5867 should of got time over Ware. Ware needed to be traded for a 4th or released and somebodh would pick his contract up
j rios Yea nobody in the league was about to bench/trade Demarcus Ware in favor of a UDFA. Barrett is only good because of who he’s played with. He’s learned a lot from great pass rushers and can implement it all even though he’s not a crazy athlete. When Ware was with the team Barrett was not a starting quality pass rusher
True statement
My son played well with who ever was his teammates since PopWarner...Little league Super Bowl winner in 2005...High school state runner up...Made EastEest Shrine Bowl in high school, in which he was MVP...College Mountain West Defensive Player of the year...College Bowl MVP...So he always held his own..

Super early!! Shaw Barrett’s time in Denver was terrible he was always trying to get replaced and they kept putting Shane Ray in front of him
