Looks like i'm buying this keyboard
how is it?
Me too
Me too
Me Just about to,
And Nice review, keep it up
I all ready bought it 😂
You are 100% right about build quality on the Akai. Broke after 2 weeks of light use!
i just bought it a few days before seeing this video; it's my first own MIDI keyboard and i'm really excited for it. this video was really helpful and informative, thanks a lot!
thanks for this review! i've been between this and the mpk mini, but the problem's with the mini's keys have put me off, this seems like a much more solid choice!
I have the mpk mini and a key broke, I wanted one with bigger sturdy keys and this looks it. Also mpk mini has awkward usb on the side, not back
Thank you so much for the information; though this was a little while ago I'm deciding on buying this keyboard for my first trying on MIDI recording, so for the price they retail for, nowadays I can take the chances and your video helped a lot! I've always been a hardware user, I have 6 full size keyboards, basses, guitars, drums and as a multi instrumentalist musician I like to do it the old fashioned way, real instruments, note by note, taking my time, but when travelling, away from my equipment MIDI recording comes handy, even if to only get the original ideas recorded, for future work
Hey bud I just ordered this same board. I'm a first timer too. I Noticed your comment from 3 weeks ago and was curious how its going?
Hi there! I’m an old fashioned musician who likes to record with hardware, real time playing real instruments instead of virtual ones, but sometimes, due to long trips and no access to my instruments I have no choice but to use virtual ones; that said, for what I have used the V25, it’s been awesome! I’m basically just accessing what Logic has to offer, when it comes to instruments; it was a quick plug and play, Logic recognized it immediately (same with Studio One); the big plus for me was the full size semi weighted keys and the ability to play drums in real time using the pads; I’m not sure I’ll be using other features, but I can highly recommend this little gem and I’m sure you’ll love it!
@@iceberg220 awesome news! Thanks for the quick reply! I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
I was just making a video of me using this after 4 years, turns out, I myself needed to watch this! I wasn't aware of the software update that fixes the double drumpad input
Dope, as a keys player this was a PERFECT review. Looking for a desktop drum pad/real key feel for ideas from anywhere in the house
Yea the pad in this controller sometimes get annoying. When I hit it once, sometimes it triggers twice.
@@etunyunyu As said in the video, it was a software issue that has been resolved with a firmware update.
@@CromCruachTheElderK that doesnt work :/
Great video. The view of the inside end key connections was excellent! You have an impressive presence👍
Yeah you sold me on this one. GREAT video. Using your link to grab one rn
Good review. Yet, I am curious why people are saying controllers are semi-weighted that are not. This one isn't either. It's synth action.
I literally bought this with out any knowledge I’m glad I watched this and got my moneys worth
Sweet video presentation. You are probably using a DSLR to get that effect. As for the Alesis v25, I'll get that next month. Oh sure, the Alesis Mini baby going for $58 on Amazon, but it's pretty Limited when it comes to the Alesis V25 since it does not have a sustain pedal Jack built in, but the Alesis v25 does. Awesome review.
Sheesh I might even go for the V49. I personally like the simplicity of this keyboard even if it has a learning curve.
Can't wait to enter the music world, mine arrives tomorrow!
nice video and review man!!! u just earned an new sub, keep it up!
Wow So much information! in just a few minutes, thanks for share.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good content bro. Professional 😎🚬🥃
Please make sure you attend to my questions about the possibility of plugging Alexis directly to your amplifier and sound out because iam planning to buy one
I wish it has a dedicated Rec Play and Pause buttons but i think you can program them in to the extra buttons that it comes with
Wow very nice as usual 👏
was about to get the mpk... thats all i read about it was the problem with the keys, and not being able to set key velocity sensitivity..The full size keys, included software and price is what sold me. was about to get the v49, but got the v25 instead plus a mic!
You should get 49 keys on a midi to have more room to play piano and grow. This will help you in the long run.
yes, i am regretting the decision now, as im not ready to record my vocals on a mic lol
@@devankey8498 why tho? I’m thinking about buying it but I’m not sure
Such a helpful video! Thanks 🙏🏽
Replaced this v25 with a roli seaboard and block. Food for thought though
Awesome I’m definitely buying it
I just bought it for $60 on Amazon 3 day delivery it 4000 something reviews 4 and a half stars I see what it like and the feeling of the keys and pads fir $60 can beat it got to spend $100 to $150
Super informative, thanks bruv!
Bought it today 🎉
Hi just watched this vid very good review. I then went on Google to check prices and came across the V25 mk 2 is this replacement for this one or are both still relevant? Thanks Kev Green in the U.K.
Nice chords in the intro music.
Mine is coming tomorrow
Is it a good keyboard?
@@naturalezahumana1574 yes
@@Dwhifwhidwhiqdn12 oh cool, I'm buying one of these, thanks.
@@Dwhifwhidwhiqdn12 Is there a problem with the velocity curve of the keys, some people reportet that issue.
just bought one for 59.99!
Just bought one nice vid!
Please can this Alexis 25 work when you plug directly to amplifier and sound out ? thanks😢
Great review! I am considering to buy it as my first midi keyboard but I noticed that there is not a SUSTAIN BOTTON which i really need. Is possible to program one of those 4 bottons as a sustain?
I think you can I'll come back and edit the comment when I get it
Yes u can, through your DAW on ur pc.
Bu there’s also a sustain port at the back of this controller so u can buy and plug in your sustain pedal
Your editors insane (or you're insane idk).
Cool review son - thumbs up
I have alesis v61 and love it
Is the alesis v25 compatible with the DAW cakewalk by bandlab?
Yes it is
@@etunyunyu thanks!
You look like the guy from The Purge 1st part lol
Good rvw! Txs! I'm about to buy it.. coz I'm a beginner. Never ueed plugin.. DAWs or similar. But someone told this is just for musical production.. and since I need both, MP and playing LIVE in addition to my synths.. I'm considering to buy a M-Audio 25 air... so, could you.. make a review on this gear (the white one).
Thank you very much!
You’re awesome! Subscribed.
Hey bro, can you do a tutorial on the setup?
neeeeed!
I have heard that there is a problem with the velocity curve of the keys is that true or if it happens can u fix it?
pads on left.. wht do u guys think about that?
Mine to just too quiet and i cant seem to change it :(
Do I need a laptop to use this one or does it just plug in to the outlet
How do you change the octave on drum pads
I apologize if this has been answered already but is this keyboard compatible with Ableton?
In uruguay it is 150 us dollars
re 1:59, the way they invade, snoop and give us other trouble, I prefer another search engine, and i don't mean anything Microsoft powered either. Search for better alternatives.
well explained
true , but how old are you fella? you look younger but sound a lot bigger
Hi everyone! For your information, the pad in this controller isn’t that good. Sometimes it can trigger twice even though u hit the pad one time, especially when u hit the pad slowly.
But the keys r amazing!
He mentioned it in the video. There's a firmware update to fix this problem.
Thx. Subbed.
I’m just trying to make some beats 🎧
any input lag?
Never heard you play it bro
can i install a sound from my pc to alesis 25 and play it again ?
Its a midi controller, it doesnt have memory so u cant.
But u can control any sound plugins or samples in ur pc.
@@etunyunyu can i play this with garageband mac ?
in germany its only 74€ :)
I bought the akai mk3 🤦🏾 I regret it
Still going for $90.
What are the dimensions of the Alesis v25? Height x width x depth
Google ?
Is this windows 10 compatible?
Yes
Thanks so much

excelent video! by argentina 🙌
왜 이런거는 한국이 하는건 없는거야ㅠ
Your review is decent, but you really need to turn up your mic. I had to turn up the volume all the way on my laptop just to hear you, when other videos come in loud and clear. Other times you tend to mumble. SPEAK UP, Jack!
man the pads on this thing annoy me lol
