Hey i just got that E4 socket. It dose look pretty small. So i got both sets
Do you have to pull a vacuum on the lines after hooking them back up? Or can you just add Freon back in the system and go?
No need to pull a vacuum first
Just have a shop do it, they’ll do it professionally.
How did you determine the correct amount of oil to add?
Specs taken from shop manual, the compressor also comes with oil so just add oil accordingly

Do I have to decompress the a.c./ have it drained before I replace this? Also, do I have to have it charged up again afterwards? My pulley makes a mean squeak, but a.c. works fine.
You must drain refill the freon
