Laura's' eye for design is unmatched. And then there is the awesome camera angles, the use of the tape with messages written on it to relay tid-bits of information. And always ALWAYS the coolest music to accompany the great camera footage. You have hit another home-run Laura. Thank you.
Laura the rubber thingie is called an isolator. We use them all the time at work on floor cleaning equipment. They are used to help the head of a machine vibrate as it strips a floor. Video is awesome as always.
Superb video. All steps included. The crowning aspect is the flexibility of the connexion between the S'car and the bike - eliminating S'car lift off. Traditional 3 wheel performance cars, Morgan, had 2 wheels at the front.
When I was younger I had a sidecar BMX bike and they are really funky to ride until you get used to them. Pretty badass you solved that with the swivel part! Great video!
I’ve watched your channel for almost 2 years I think. I can’t believe I never looked at your old vids to find all these awesome bike ones. Great and fun ideas 👍🏻
That's super rad. The pivoting arms that allow you to lean on the bike were a great idea. I bet it rides much better than it would if it was completely locked out.
This is such a fantastic project! I love the whole look of it with your bike and it works so well. But the best part is that grin when you're riding it! I love that you had fun with it!
Awesome build!! When I was kid back in the early 80's we tried to cobble together a side car out of parts from an old tricycle plywood and some electrical conduit. Ha!! it was dangerous!! Love your version MUCH better! Thanks for triggering a pleasant memory flashback!!
Every video I watch makes me immediately go to my garage and start tinkering! I don’t have your tools or skills (duh) lol but you inspire me like no other. I put on my Ape&Bird hat and just start building and dreaming. Thanks for all you give us fans! Love ya.
Besides the bike being one of those bikes you dreamt of as a child (the one you conquered the world with), the grown up version of your kick-ass loaf seat bike you borrowed and then got passed down from your brother, where you just had your sunny summer super hero kamikaze days on the tarmac is just beyond! The side car (which I also dreamt of) is killeeeeeeeeeeer! So well engineered! You're so smart! You're just so smaaaaart! Speechless!
I admire the camerawork. I should hunt through the backlist for a video describing your video process, especially the planning. If you don’t have one please make one. I would watch it repeatedly.
First I thought it was a motorbike and afterwards I realised its an electric bike with a huge motorbike style headlight!! Really cool looking bike and sidecar Laura!!
I think the rubber thing is called a “bushing”. Fantastic build and design!... (as always 😏) I bet Smudo looks at that sidecar with envious doggy eyes wanting a ridealong 🏍🐶🤩
Of course, heaven, you have angel hands, more than one person I know would like it, they call it "professionals", work half as well as you, good job 👍👌
Awesome idea! Especially that the sidecar is moving instad of being staticly connected! IMO a way to lock the lid and something to fasten some straps to, to secure a box on top of the sidecar would make it perfect.
In the uk we had a similar sidecar that would lean with the motorbike in the 70s/80s to get around the new learner law , the whee pivoted as well . It was called the Sidewinder .
Somebody is not getting their deposit back...was really hoping it was a seat for the dog! I've been wanting to do this for years but use my kayak instead of a keg. Nice job!
SUPER AWESOME! originally I though you'd make is from 2-barrels, so a person could ride along...but my goodness, this is beautiful and creative! Congrats.
What, no spot for the pup? When I saw the thumbnail I figured that was the purpose of the sidecar. Then you had to go all practical and make something cooler, great job.
Richtig cooles Teil. Ich gebe zu ich fahre nie Rad aber mit so einem wo man dann auch mal was transportieren kann und das auch noch cool aussieht, würde ich öffters mal fahren Hut ab vor der Leistung.
Sweet, 'rubber thing' is actually an 'anti vibration mount black spacer thingy'...expect you'll be getting 15km on a single charge now., which is plenty to get to the bottle store! ;-)
Laura, I'd back almost ANYTHING you do but ... Pouring Lowenbrau down the drain??? THAT'S hard!! Great design/build. That built in flexibility is amazing. Now hold down straps and rubber seals ...😉😉👍👍
That is amazing Laura and your welds are proper sick I love it. You should add a small removable wheel that slips underneath and clips on to support the frame when you want to detach it. You’re brilliant keep em coming hoping to see you again at MC x
Excellent work that you were able to maintain the bike's ability to lean in the turns. Take a look at a child carrier called the "Chariot sidecar". It not only allows the bike to lean, but the sidecar stays level also.
Totally amazing video and I love the fact you even made the sidecar swivelling... very well done and very well engineered!
Thanks guys! I am in love with the UNIMOKE-best bike ever!
Laura's' eye for design is unmatched.
And then there is the awesome camera angles, the use of the tape with messages written on it to relay tid-bits of information.

You have hit another home-run Laura.
Thank you.
Laura's videos are the gold standard for production values in DIY / Maker videos.
The use of the ball joint mechanism is genius. Very cool.
I will assume the beer had gone bad before you poured it out
Löwenbräu is bad before it goes into the keg!
Yeah, two year old beer. Apparently very stinky.
It was no Kölsch, so naturally Laura must have considered it "bad" :)
tommihommi1 --- Probably just the dregs of the barrel, mostly empty.
I think the same with a surprise face
Laura the rubber thingie is called an isolator. We use them all the time at work on floor cleaning equipment. They are used to help the head of a machine vibrate as it strips a floor. Video is awesome as always.
Best shop truck build ever!
Laura Kampf is one of my heroes!
Thank you for inviting us all along on your project Laura!
Dang this turned out awesome! At first I thought you were building it for Smudo 🐶🚲
Smudo is a Runner but he loves the bike because now I can finally keep up with him :)
NO dog seat?
Priorities Smudo 🐕 can walk tools🛠 can't lol 😁
LOL, we had the same thought. I just forgot Smudo's name.
Superb video. All steps included. The crowning aspect is the flexibility of the connexion between the S'car and the bike - eliminating S'car lift off. Traditional 3 wheel performance cars, Morgan, had 2 wheels at the front.
I wondered how well the side car was going to work but I have to admit it turned out really nice and well made. I shouldn't have doubted you.
Great to see it go from Instagram to completed video. Love the concept and execution.
That's super rad. The pivoting arms that allow you to lean on the bike were a great idea. I bet it rides much better than it would if it was completely locked out.
This is such a fantastic project! I love the whole look of it with your bike and it works so well. But the best part is that grin when you're riding it! I love that you had fun with it!
fantastic congratulations for the very top project ✌😃👍
5:08-5:13 look at the sidecar wheel on the floor, that is exactly the reason why not to make it hinged.
You are a VERY talented gal! ty for sharing your fun projects with the RUclips world
The coolest! Way to go, Laura!
Your videos are always so inspiring! Every time I’m stuck with an edit I come back and watch a few of your videos just to see how you do things.
Thanks mate!
Damn, Germans and their precision. You guys never fail when it comes to fabricating good mechanical devices.
Watching this made me so happy. I wonder if my pup would fit in there.
Nice welds, sister! Also, that satisfied smile when testing your hinges. Sweet build!
Thanks Lori! Welds are getting a little better with each project :)
Awesome build!! When I was kid back in the early 80's we tried to cobble together a side car out of parts from an old tricycle plywood and some electrical conduit. Ha!! it was dangerous!! Love your version MUCH better! Thanks for triggering a pleasant memory flashback!!
Porque tiraste la cerveza. Me partió el Corazón.
Muy lindo los trabajos, saludos desde Argentina, Quilmes

Wow-best feedback i could ask for!! Thanks man!

This serves major “Wilde Kerle”-vibes - even without heavy use of orange and black! Simply amazing!
I admire the camerawork. I should hunt through the backlist for a video describing your video process, especially the planning.
If you don’t have one please make one. I would watch it repeatedly.
I could not watch beyond the epic beer pour into the drainage system. I will have nightmares.....
I want this, but for Nutella.
sames, but for bacon
A giant Nutella keg filled with Nutella.
Where are man... get something on the channel... I dam missed your works.
Heineken 🍺
With a drop down swivel hinged side panel you could add a table for picnics etc. Well DONE. Cheers and G'day from Australia .:)
Can I just say; I always ❤️ the music you put your videos!
Thank you for making!
VERY cool! I like that you can still lean the bike.
When I read the title I thought you made a sidecar for transporting beer kegs. The one you made is almost as cool.
YAY, another bike project.. keep them coming Laura
Just love your bike's things ! Bike projects are best projects ! 😋
Awesome! Glad you solved the attachment question. I imagine it handles better with the flexibility
Great build! Putting your feet up as you ride through a big puddle is perhaps the best part of riding a bike : )
What a cool bike, and you nailed the sidecar balance, it follow you perfectly!!!! GREAT JOB.
Very interesting... The motorcycle side-car industry should take a look at that.
love it. another creative build ... I love how the sidecar responds to the tilt of the bike. genius
What a fun way to start a Sunday 😊
Totally in awe of your brain and abilities! And you make beautiful videos. Wow wow wow!
First I thought it was a motorbike and afterwards I realised its an electric bike with a huge motorbike style headlight!! Really cool looking bike and sidecar Laura!!
Nice to see the leaning of the bike accommodated 😊
Another fantastically awesome build Laura.
This might be my favorite project too. Adding the flex joints was a great revision. Brilliant. Also love the lid.
Great Job Laura!! the Articulating mounting points are sweet Well done!
I think the rubber thing is called a “bushing”. Fantastic build and design!... (as always 😏) I bet Smudo looks at that sidecar with envious doggy eyes wanting a ridealong 🏍🐶🤩
i wish i had half the metal skills that you have . what a cool and awsome idea
Good good good, congratulations Laura👏👏👏👏
Love this build! Of course, anything with a keg is something I like.
Of course, heaven, you have angel hands, more than one person I know would like it, they call it "professionals", work half as well as you, good job 👍👌
Having worked in a foundry, it is nice to see that these skills are been kept alive , well done!
Excellent! A "Klassic Kampf" build!! , Thank you Laura.
Eres espectacular!
Ole tus ideas!
SALUDOS desde Catalonia
That bike is awesome and the sidecar is totally cool! The tilting ability is key! Great work!
Let me know if they give you some discount codes on the bike! Plz & thx!
As always your work on bikes are second to none. The ideas are very simple and easy for any person to do.
Ausgezeichnet.
Love the build Laura. What a cool bike. Thanks for sharing.
This thing is seriously sweet! I want to make one for me and my dog.
I'm really impressed with how much articulation you achieved. Pretty cool!
Awesome idea! Especially that the sidecar is moving instad of being staticly connected! IMO a way to lock the lid and something to fasten some straps to, to secure a box on top of the sidecar would make it perfect.

I've long given up on my drinking game of "take a shot every time Laura takes an angle grinder to something." 🤣
Great build and sweet video. Now I want to build something!
SUPER AWESOME! originally I though you'd make is from 2-barrels, so a person could ride along...but my goodness, this is beautiful and creative! Congrats.
TOTALLY FRICKIN AWESOMENESS.
Great work Laura....this turned out so good.
10 out of 10 👍👍

Wow!
Real great job and the wobbly connection makes a good job!
Thumbs up!
🤩 super strong bike side cart, probably can't buy a better one, could be modified for music and drinks cooler! great idea /build !
What, no spot for the pup? When I saw the thumbnail I figured that was the purpose of the sidecar. Then you had to go all practical and make something cooler, great job.
That was TOO cool when you showed the test and stored stuff in it and on top.
Absolutely genius. I love the way you seem to make it up as you go along.
Richtig cooles Teil.
Ich gebe zu ich fahre nie Rad aber mit so einem wo man dann auch mal was transportieren kann und das auch noch cool aussieht, würde ich öffters mal fahren
Hut ab vor der Leistung.
This is the coolest thing ever! Nice work Laura!!

So happy to see you back! Great video as always.
Very cool 😎 The perfect maker sidecar to carry all your maker stuff 👍
Really enjoy your fab work... inspiration to get in my shop and build...thanx
Sweet, 'rubber thing' is actually an 'anti vibration mount black spacer thingy'...expect you'll be getting 15km on a single charge now., which is plenty to get to the bottle store! ;-)
These kinds of builds are the reason I am subscribed. Awesome
At first, I thought it was for Smudo to ride along with you. Cool build!
@laura You have that kind of crazyness that i love.
thanks for sharing your great job with all of us.
XO!
Laura, I'd back almost ANYTHING you do but ... Pouring Lowenbrau down the drain??? THAT'S hard!! Great design/build. That built in flexibility is amazing. Now hold down straps and rubber seals ...😉😉👍👍

Another brilliant video !!! Killing it !!!!
This is relevant. Travelling 2minute pub! Bring your own glass and chair xD
faceshield and gloves when using grinder i love you
Watching you work is so zen. I see why this is one of your favorite builds 🔥
Thanks man!
That is FREAKING AWESOME 🙌 .. Great idea and a awesome video... Thanks for sharing Laura !!!
Great job Laura!!! Looks like you got the geometry perfect!! Sidecar is well planted to the ground. Nice 👍🏻
Looks fantastic maybe you could put a back light in the cask where the beer tap would be connected
Before I see the video I'll give you a thumbs up and a like just for the image of the keg on the side like who does that, well great idea
incredibly well designed and executed, just awesome!
Excellent work that you were able to maintain the bike's ability to lean in the turns. Take a look at a child carrier called the "Chariot sidecar". It not only allows the bike to lean, but the sidecar stays level also.
