In my experience ...I've built this type of trailer before. But I can say the steel barrow I first used, I eventually tossed it. Then I built my current-version from a plastic barrow. Yes steel offers great strength, but it IS an awful lot of weight. But after I went with the plastic barrow, I was able to go longer distances, and not be nowhere near as drained. In-addition? --the smaller wheels allow the rider an easier start, but require more energy to keep turning, thus causing more fatigue. Yet larger wheels may take a little more work to get going, but once you're up to speed, it's easier on the rider. Plus if the trailer wheels and the bicycle wheels are the same size, then you'll only require 1 size of replacement tubes.
This metal trailer is nice and strong but for the weight, it's better be pulled by a scooter instead of bike... But still the video is very inspiring and nice to watch

Yes. Let me just get out my welder, lathe, giant bandsaw, and the rest of my $10,000 tools, so I can build a bike trailer with $200 worth of wheel barrows, and $300 worth of steel, instead of spending $300 and just buying one already built... Seems legit.

Pulling something with two wheels is fine on hard smooth surfaces with no pedestrian walk-throughs or curbs, etc., but they can hop wildly when a stone kick one wheel up. Single-wheel trailers are much easier and safer to pull.
And it has 2 wheels and a rigid connection to the bike, effectively turning the whole machine into a non leaning tricycle. Edit. On second thoughts a bike with stabilisers.
I love how these videos start off with what appears to be some simple, cheap hacks...then they bust out an acetylene torch and 72 hours of work, 4 years of college, 3 years of apprenticeship & $600 dollars later...a free, rusty old wheelbarrow becomes a sorta clunky, heavy bike trailer you could just buy somewhere else for 1/1000th the effort & cost. People like making videos & selling advertising, getting likes & views, and a return on their investment of time & money, making use of their hard-fought skills, tools & expertise. They're not serial murderers (I think) so no harm is being done & it's interesting for 30 seconds. No way am I sitting through 12 & a half minutes of this once I saw the torch come out. My neighbours & landlord of my apartment building would shut that sh*t down immediately if I busted that out. No more clicky.
*But what happens if you're rear-ended in the carbon fiber trailer during your travels? The Schubkarrekampfwagen has both an inflated circular rubber potential energy return device and dual steel crush zones to protect your spine, assuming that welded steel tongue doesn't simply impale you.*
