Good evening Gary. There was a reason he turned around instead of backing out... Devine intervention!! When the kids were little, Becky and I set out some traffic cones along the route I move big bales when unloading trucks... Becky stood up on the lawn with the girls and I was moving bales.. they watched the cones get smeared. Then we talked about what would happen if they were the cones.. and where they need to be to be safe. Gotta say, it worked!!! We've moved stuff like that with 2 loaders, also just use the hay loader and pick from above. Thank you Gary!!
We had an applicator that backed over a 2 year old girl on her tricycle and kill her with her parents looking out the window. Things that you never want to happen and can never forget
Thanks Louie. There was zero traffic until we got onto the road anyway. Didn’t take very long though. Out one driveway and into the next. I lost some of the video before it posted. It showed Tom backing through the next gate with no more than an inch and a half on each side to spare going through the gate posts.
Good story on the close call 😮I have worried about the same thing and never assume I’m alone anywhere when I’m on my tractor Big Blue Tractor very nice 👍
Sweer tractor. Now that's one heck of a way to move a big object, nicely done. That was cool to see Gary. I really like the style of Tom's truck. Have a good one Gary!
How's she gin'? That's a fine looking tractor and was a perfect size for moving that building. That was slick!! Great idea. Thanks for sharing and take 'er easy!!
Fella I used to work with backed over his kid with a fork lift. Fortunately he survived. Another fella I used to buy septic tanks from buried his small child in a ditch with a backhoe. The child had fallen asleep in a big cardboard box that was in a ditch. You can't be too safe. Skidsteers are great but for his application he made a wise decision. It's good to hear stories like that to keep us all on our toes.
Great idea on moving the shed, but certainly risky!! Fortunately, you were there to spot him. My 5 yr old and 2 yr old grandsons are like Tom's son. They love riding on the tractor. Guess I'll have to build two buddy seats.I like Tom's old Ford, too!! That was a very close call with his son. Thanks for sharing, Gary.
Good evening Gary, great interview with Tom, but a pretty scary story about his son. Very nice New Holland tractor. I've never seen a building relocated with a tractor like that before. Lots of fun. Thanks for sharing, Ben 👍
That was a fun video Gary, nice looking New Holland 👍🏻. Man that was a close one with his son 😮. His son must love being in the driver seat 👍🏻. Nice looking pickup also 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing and have a great week Gary 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
Smart move with not getting a clean machine, so frustrating with these new emission regulations. That story with his son gave my shivers. And then the barn move, and then that truck, omg the truck hahaha.
Smart thinking moving the building that way. I know 3 guys that lost their son's from them running up on them working a tractor. We ended up losing two of them. It's a very hard thing to live with. Super glad his son didn't get hurt. Have a good weekend Gary! Really nice tractor! See ya!
Smartest thing you could have done Ed. My buddy Curt that comments on these videos had a good friend that was a deputy sheriff, separated from his wife. His kids always were fascinated with his service weapon and kept bugging him to see it. One day, while they were bugging him about the gun, he pulled it out and shot a striped gopher. Killing it. What an object lesson. The kids learned a lesson that stuck with them. Guns are not toys and were never intended to be so. Thanks Ed
I worked an EMS call early in my fire service career where a child fell off the tractor and got run but fortunately it was in a soft ditch and the tractor pushed him down in the mud and he wasn’t hurt too bad. Take care Gary and have a blessed weekend.
damn that one got me about the kids and I understood every single word. I'm comfortable with my kids being on my boat but at the same time I'm not comfortable with it. got to keep eyes all around
Good Evening Sir, Very Nice Blue Tractor 😇👍👌💪Great Description 👌👍😇Great Garage Moving 😇👍👌Now that is Truck for Man 👌👌👍👍😇😇💪💪 Have a nice week Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
Tom is very much a family man Josh. He and I talked right after that happened and it shook him up terribly. Enough so that he went out and bought a tractor immediately.
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 Your Welcome Gary..when I bought my first place.. it had no garage ..we moved a FREE (for the moving).. 10 year old garage (14’ x 22’) across town we used a floor jack- trailer and barn Timbers! …. Lots of 2x4’s and nails! ….👍
That is the most unbelievably baddest truck I’ve ever seen👍👀👍 I’m being dead serious that is exactly what I like. I would take that over a new truck any day of the week! Please do a video on that👍👀👍
That looks like a cool tractor.. That was a close call and it is great that his son can now join him in the cab of the tractor. That is a fantastic idea to move that building, I would have never thought of doing that. Tom's truck is very cool
I like the new holland tractors. I could be completely wrong but when I was looking at them the seemed to have a more compact size then other tractors of the same horse power. That was really cool how he moved the building. Having no visibility like that would make me so nervous. Take care Gary!
I wish I could have gotten the video of him going through the gate a bit better. It just fit between the gate posts and he had to go through perfectly straight to make it work. Thanks Justin.
Thanks for asking Jan. He does not have a channel yet, but will be starting one at some point. He came up yesterday and sat down with me and we put together the video. He wanted to see the editing process and how all that comes together. Thanks for watching Jan. Did you catch his truck?
Didn't even finish the video Gary .... I'm sorry but to many memories of what happened to me in "98"... if theres kids around I shut er off and she don't move till their gone.... long gone.....
That's a great-looking tractor. A lot more versatile than a skid loader. ( and safer) That's a cool way to move that shed, but the visibility sucked lol. Some nice horses! Take care
That’s like me when I am cutting down trees Brent . I don’t want anybody around. There are a few people that I would trust, but a select few. I had a woman with a little girl that wanted to video me dropping a huge dead elm. The tree sat out on a sharp point and was in a dangerous place to drop. I was paying close attention to my feet placement , the expanding of my cut, and my avenue of escape. Just as the tree started to let loose and I had retreated to safety, I noticed the woman and little girl were not where I had put them and told them to stay. They were directly in front of the tree and it came down with a mighty crash to within 10 feet of them. I lost my shit. I went off on her. She had no sense of what could have just happened.
Good evening Gary.

We've all heard stories about children around implements. Doesn't always work out that well. Thank you Gary.

Good evening Gary 🍻👍
Good evening Chad... or rather good morning now 😁
Great video, moved the shed like a champ. The greatest thing about living in small rural area no traffic.
Thanks Louie.

Thank the Lord!🙏🙏🙏
Yep. Close call John. I talked to Tom shortly afterwards and he was sick to his stomach over it.
Good story on the close call 😮I have worried about the same thing and never assume I’m alone anywhere when I’m on my tractor
Big Blue Tractor very nice 👍
Thanks Phil.
Nice tractor but his truck seemed to be an even bigger hit.
Sweer tractor. Now that's one heck of a way to move a big object, nicely done. That was cool to see Gary. I really like the style of Tom's truck. Have a good one Gary!
Thanks for watching Paul
That story gives me shivers. Nice machine there and clever way to move that building! Thanks!
Thanks Joe! Yes, that was a close call. Too close.
How's she gin'? That's a fine looking tractor and was a perfect size for moving that building. That was slick!! Great idea. Thanks for sharing and take 'er easy!!
Thanks for watching Grampie

It really shook him up Mathew. I can’t begin to imagine what that would be like . Don’t want to find out.

You betcha Luc. Thanks for watching
Great Job Gary!! I Truly Enjoyed Spending Time with You!!
Likewise Tim.
BTW, nice tractor!

Thanks Kenny. Totally agree on all points.

Thanks John. I know of 2 personally
Very nice looking tractor. That's one way to move a building for sure!! Very cool. A nice truck there at the end as well. Great video keep it up
Yes, that was fun.
How have you been?
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 I've been doing pretty good thanks. How about you?
@@teenagefarmer doing great. Summer is flying by
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 yes sir, it sure is.
Quite the building move there. By hook or by crook, get it done. Lol 😆

Great video Gary. Different way to move a building
It worked great though, didn’t it?
You’ve got to meet Tom some time Curt. He and his wife are both wide awake.
I worked an EMS call early in my fire service career where a child fell off the tractor and got run but fortunately it was in a soft ditch and the tractor pushed him down in the mud and he wasn’t hurt too bad. Take care Gary and have a blessed weekend.
One way to move a building 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks Scott. Worked like a charm. Smooth as a babies bottom.
Thanks for watching Scott

On another note, had you hear about G.P. losing his daughter?
Tom is very much a family man Josh. He and I talked right after that happened and it shook him up terribly. Enough so that he went out and bought a tractor immediately.
Good Evening Gary👍 great interview! That’s one way to move a building that’s for sure👀
Yes indeed Kev. Worked extremely well.
This was not Toms first rodeo.
Thanks for watching Kev
Did you catch his truck at the end of the video Kev?
