I watch some British movie channels, and the one with the BEST Skype, Zoom guests...like Clint Eastwood ' s old manager, directors, the screenwriter of Poltergeist...what An opportunity, and he always messes it up by getting those great guests anoyed with stupid questions and being very slow in delivering them !!!! You really nailed it here Phil. Excellent review of a truly dreadful show. I have virtually nothing to add as you covered all the issues I had with the show. Russel T Davies has made this show his own agenda platform and the BBC are too scared to challenge him on it. If Disney pull the plug-and they will-that will be it. This whole fiasco of a show should now be buried without any TV honours. However, I cherish the memories of the childhood nightmares brought on by the William Hartnell era which I was privileged to watch in glorious black and white on a very small screen.
Based on this review of the 2024 season, I presume you will not be watching the next season. Correct? At which point did you stop watching the Jodie Whittaker incarnation?
Great review Phil 👍 Ghatwa is dreadful, RTD only cast him because he fancies him. RTD has ruined Dr Who, i'm done with it now. He should be called out for the woke narcissistic s**t he is! Season 25 in October, just got Celestial Toymaker and working through that. We've still got the classics 👍
And i don't know what's going on with these newer American RUclips Movie Channels either... it's just bad reviewing/taste all over, not to say rude and mean...a few remarks by some reviewers/hosts : " Roger Moore was the worst Bond ever ", " Blade Runner is confusing and very overrated " , " the Mission Impossible franchise is way superior to the Bonds ", " The Omen wasn't scary ", " Kubrick movies are boring and made for movie snobs "...and they have 3-5K views a video, with many subscribers and likes.
Definitely a well thought out video. You hit all the right things.
The final two parter was enough. It push me over the edge. Lol.

@garygrimmett7945 personally i cant stand her. The last two Doctors have been rubbish in my opinion, no character to them.
I just watched " Boys from Brazil " because it's HD on RUclips...i never seen it, SO good.
I read the book of the film, but haven’t seen the film version yet. If its like the novel then it will be good.

Yes the classic show is much better. Have loads of great stories still to review sometime. Yeah season 25 will be fun to get in October.
Think my favourite episodes where the devils chord and boom .have to say the others stories where poor I don’t think I will rate Empire of death .
Overall a poor season. Think its in the same league as the Jodie Whittaker ones. Poor stuff.

Wow all them comments are so wrong. Terrible taste they have. Guess a lot of these channels will pay to have their videos promoted. I don’t bother.
Young guys/reviewers 20 to 30, but they don't know what they're talking about...and that is also a sign of the times.@@MrSuperphil
Yeah i think sometimes they dont even watch half the films they are talking about.
Watching tarantulas doing the business is preferable to sitting through Gatwa attempting to be the Doctor.
Give me a good fence with paint on it to watch. 😀
