Your wedding day checklist can be a hard thing to remember! What items are your MUST HAVES on your wedding day?
- Don’t forget to eat
- Pick a suitcase to pack all your wedding items
- Don’t forget your vows and make a copy
- Put the wedding bands together wrap them and put them away safely
- Place your marriage licence in the suitcase
- Put your gift in the suitcase
- Put your accessories in the suitcase
- The correct under garments
- Shapewear
- Shoes and extra pair of shoes for the next day
- Wedding cake knife
- Wedding guest book
- Payments to vendors
Don't forget a emergency contact list--any phone numbers of vendors, wedding party people, transportation in case something happens and you need to get a hold of them. Sometimes we don't always have that in our phones and it's nice to have a paper copy in case you're busy getting your hair done and don't want to move and you can just have the contact list in a frame sitting out and can ask your bridesmaid to call someone for you. Just an idea.
One more tip for the men who are not watching this 😄… ladies remind your future husband on your wedding day to get his wallet to somebody most likely his mother.. Man in a beautiful tuxedo does not need a pocket bolt where his wallet is… however if you were going to a hotel after work chances are you will need your license and credit card to check in…
If your vows are on a google doc you don't even need to worry about printing them out- in a pinch you can write them from the google doc on the day- stick a bridesmaid or ya mam on it if you are busy getting ready, or just read off the phone at the altar- it's better than not having them.

Can you explain or even do a video explaining the marriage license thing? Like what exactly do you do with it at the ceremony and why do you need to bring it? I feel stupid asking but I don't really understand.
Hi. So when you "order " you license, it's not legally binding you as married until you've been ordained, witnesses sign it, along with yourself and your spouse. That's the legal requirement for you to actually be legally married, and then the person who ordained you sends it to the state courts! :)

When do you get your marriage licence?
Depends on the state. In CA you have 90 days from issuing the marriage license to having an officiant sign (wedding day) and they have 10 days to mail in the license to the clerk recorder.
