Something that we did at our wedding (thanks to our wedding planners suggestion!) was while everyone was getting ready for the sparkler exit outside we stayed inside to have a special last dance to end the night away. My husband ended up picking out the song and for someone who hates being the center of attention, the dance felt more special than even our first dance in front of everyone.

I got married 3 years ago. Trying on wedding dresses was a NIGHTMARE. I think I tried on over 100 dresses for a lot of different reasons. In the end I was so stressed that I bought one just to say I did. I eventually had to go back, by myself, and decide which one truly felt like me. I ended up with a dress I love but don’t be afraid to go alone if you know yourself! I was taking in too many opinions
Although I'm not married yet BUT I can definitely understand your point and I love it. People can make you go off track and with all the excitement, you can forget what you wanted in the first place. Alone time does make you understand more about you and helps you concentrate on your thoughts.
This spoke to me! I bought a dress on sale. I liked it. It looks good on me. But it wasn't what I wanted from the beginning. In my alone time I started getting so stressed over whether I made a wrong decicion. I will go and try on more dresses. I can always sell the dress I bought if I find a better one that truly feels like my style.

@@awatif59 I did this! I found my dream wedding dress by myself! My maid of honour doesn’t particular like it but I don’t care it’s MY dress and I’m so happy I went by myself :)
Could you do a video breaking down the costs of both of your weddings (like flowers, food, decorations, etc)? I think it would be great to see the difference in price when you two have very different weddings! Thank you❤
I was thinking about how good that would be too! People talk about the cost but never the breakdown which is good for those wanting to or planning already
I'm not sure how much their stuff was! That would be interesting to know. I just wanted to jump in and say that I got married last December, and I can share my wedding costs if anyone is curious. During that time, I also toured a few venues and got their costs, so I could share some of those as well perhaps. Just let me know if you're interested! 🙂
In terms of price, I think it’s also fair to note that Brooklyn got married this year when inflation is super high and it may have played a part in the weddings being similar in price.
I LOVE that you brought up spending time with your spouse on your day. I am a wedding coordinator in MN and I highly recommend for my couples to find time to spend alone time and soak up all the love and excitement together. I had a lot of couples that decided to have this alone time during the social hour.
My husband escorted me when I had to go to the bathroom at our reception because he knew people would want to talk to both of us and was afraid we would end up separated for a long stretch. We also had a “sweetheart” table with just the two of us while we ate dinner at the reception.
I'm not engaged or married, but I just want to remind people to enjoy their engagement 😊 You don't have to get married within the year you get engaged. Give yourself time so you're not having to rush and plan out a timeline that works for you if you can 💕
agreed! there's no issue with being engaged for a few years while you adjust to the idea and take your time planning a wedding. I was engaged for 1.5 years before my wedding and wouldn't have minded waiting longer. Of course we lived together already so there was no rush to be together in that way...
Thanks for making it NORMAL to be overprepared/preparing early. I bought my dress a month after getting engaged, before we even had a date or venue, and soooo many people judged me for it and said it was too soon. But now that I am in the thick of all the planning, I am so thankful that big piece is done and out of the way. Plus, it has been a blast styling my wedding around my dress.
I bought my dress a month and a half before getting engaged AND we booked our venue and honeymoon two months before getting engaged. we both were good with everything happening and having it planned out to be prepared- no one else’s opinion matters ✨🥰
This is what I plan on doing if I ever decide to "walk that plank" lol plan around the dress.. I've seen so many go the other way and end up not wanting their perfect dress because it didn't fit in with the rest of the wedding.
One thing that my fiance and I are doing that I recommend everyone do is make a separate email JUST for wedding stuff! Gmail specifically so you can build any spreadsheets or lists, keep any/all important documents, and have all your wedding-related correspondences in one place. It's so helpful!

I'm not married but was recently a bridesmaid and the bride had designated a few responsibilities to each bridesmaid plus put the schedule for the day as all our lock screens :)
Highly controversial move, but my husband and I decided to hold our party/reception the night before our ceremony. We had a lot of confused family at first, but afterwards we had so many people tell us how much they loved it. I feel like the reception is the most stressful part in terms of thinking of feeding and socializing and taking care of everyone else, so to have that done before our ceremony meant we were much more present for the most important part of a wedding. We had our ceremony the next morning, a family lunch that we actually got to eat, we weren't exhausted by an incredibly long day, and we had a lot of time together as new spouses on the day of our wedding. I know this isn't for everyone, but it worked so well for us and it's not something a lot of people even think of!
Also! Designate someone as your “problem solver” if you don’t have a coordinator or planner! I was my friend’s MOH and literally so many issues on wedding day she never knew about until the next day bc the planner was informing me instead of bride to problem solve 😅 people passed out from heat, cake melting bc OG cake never delivered, drunk parents, so many issues lol
Highly recommend a private last dance! It gives you a moment at the end of the night to take in the day privately with your spouse :) I also had a cleaning inventory/checklist and had 4 different friends/family members designed for this task. They said it was super fast, and easy! We also scheduled lunches and dinners with these individuals after our honeymoon to catch up and collect things from them.
Great points! Best wedding advice we had from our wedding planner, was taking time just me and my husband after the ceremony and before the cocktail hour. We went to a side room just the two of us with some food and drinks and just got to take in the fact that we got married. That small time together was really special!
Scheduling time for you and your groom is a HUGE one that I wish more couples would write into their day. As a wedding photographer, I try to do that for them by doing a first look and getting photos early that way after the ceremony they actually have time to hang out rather than filling it all up with photos. Great video!
I literally had the worst wedding in the world. I mean if anything it could go wrong, it did. It ALL went wrong. But, I’ve been married for 32 years. It’s not about the wedding, it’s about the marriage.
Mine too! 12 years later and it doesn't even matter that my cake got iced tea dumped all over it or my dress didn't fit and I forgot to shave my armpits..... 🤣
Yes! My aunt and uncle say the same thing. They had so many things go wrong on their wedding day. The worst being that one of the candles actually caused a small fire. 😬 But they're still happily married over 30 years later, and while they wish the day would have been a bit better, they just laugh about it now and mention how grateful they are that they were still able to get married. That's what mattered most of all.
It’s funny how when I started watching y’all, you both looked identical. Now I’ve been watching you for so long that you don’t look identical. Also, Brooklyn, your wedding was amazing. It was so perfect. 🌲 I loved Baileys too it was so glamorous! ✨ Love y’all. ♥️
So beautiful to watch, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i can't stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just can't, i love her so much, i don't know what i am bring this here for, i can't stop thinking about her~
it's always difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation my wife for 12 years left me, i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back.
I got married on a Tuesday and it was the best thing about our planning I ever did. Kept the ceremony small and simple and we did the reception with the masses a couple weeks later. Our wedding day was calm and relaxed and we were off and away before dinner and had the rest of the day just for my husband and me. We actually went on a dinner picnic, just the two of us! 💗
I HATED planning my wedding! And honestly I'm glad y'all mentioned Brooklyn not liking the planning process either. I love my husband and loved my Wedding but the stress was a lot on someone with anxiety.
For the next Video, y'all should do a "what I wish I knew as a girlfriend" just your advice on things and what to expect guys to think or something (maybe you could have Dakota and Asa in there as well to get their perspective) love you guys and I've been here since 2013!
Something else that's advice, tell your wedding planner anything that makes you happy. I get really bad social anxiety when I'm around people for hours on end, and I told her that, so she made me a panic room to go if I got overwhelmed. I didn't end up using the room, but it was nice to know it was there just in case. Also, while deciding the table placement, I told her that I love Harry Potter. So instead of circle tables, she made them like the great hall dining room. Just mention anything that makes you happy to help make your day special and they will most likely make it happen!
Makes me miss my wedding day , my biggest advice is don’t worry if not many people rsvp or come to the wedding , this is you and your spouses special day and the people who love you most will be there for you ❤ and be in the moment
Point 11: choosing bride maides is not just about getting beautiful photos is people who make u feel special & can cheer u up and help u get yourself together when things go wrong
@@nikkidutt2034 those who want to come will be there though, i don’t advise relying on “well this friend won’t be able to come” who cares? it’s YOUR day
Very true! We booked ours on a Saturday 2 yrs out because we wanted a huge party with an unlimited bar, but that would not work for anyone on a week day lol
honestly this is such a good list, i am far from being married but I remember planning my quinceñera and it’s just like planning a wedding! the last point is so relevant and im so glad I prepared myself for the worst because it made my day so much better.
This is full of great advice! I've been married for 3.5 years now, but definitely stand by this. It helped me SO much to have simple, comforting food available on my wedding day so I didn’t have to worry about trying something new or messy!
My husband and I just got married in May we had a 2 year engagement period and ended up replanting out wedding 3 times. The main thing we got out of the experience is really sit down and decide what you want together before you make any large decisions. We had a total of 8 guests and it was amazing.
At my wedding my husband and I skipped walking around to every table at dinner to greet guests… instead we left the venue and got amazing pictures just the two of us (and our photographer of course). And I’m so happy we did because the photos are amazing! And the guests didn’t care that we were gone for like 45 minutes!
I got so many weird looks from friends and family when we started touring venues a few days after getting engaged but they don’t realize the venues book out SO far in advance!! We ended up booking at our 4th venue tour and booked our wedding for 13 months later!
i got married this fall and my husband and I were together almost all day, starting from the morning where his brass band woke us up over to my hairdresser coming over, cutting his and doing my hair, then we changed in seperate rooms (at the same time) and met in the living room to go the venue to have pictures taken together... all that happened before the wedding at noon and we were together all the time, it was really nice... calmed me down a lot too :)
I really needed this video ❤ my fiancé and I are getting married 10 months from today!! Crazy! For me wedding planning so far has been so stressful 😂I’m like Brooklyn.I have had to remove a bridesmaid from my wedding and that was hard for me but I had the love and support from other friends and family who knew that this wedding is about me and my fiancé and not anyone else. My advice to anyone reading the comments is that stuff does come up along the way but to try to remember that this day is about you and your fiancé.❤
Love love love these wise words! Congratulations again to you both. Screaming with joy for you both as you embark upon the journey of marriage, what a gift it is!
I would love to see a video of both of your experiences of things that did go wrong! I don’t think we saw any of that in the wedding videos. I would find the stories interesting 😊
We went super small. Immediate family only ceremony and about 60 people at an outdoor reception with cake and pizza and music and yard games. $1500 later and I recommend that to EVERYONE. You hear too many horror stories about people going into debt for a wedding day that brought them nothing but stress. And bonus, our guests loved it too, because it didn’t have any of the stuffy stuff that’s boring for guests. Everybody wins.
Loved the make sure you eat comment. We picked a venue where we made sure we LOVED the food and made sure our expectations were that since the day was about us, we were going to enjoy dinner and dessert at our reception and if people wanted to chat with us while eating, they could come up to us, but that was our day to be a little selfish! Plus we the food was THAT good :) My advice to future brides, don't feel guilty for wanting to sit down and eat at your reception!!
I really like the one y'all said "spend more time with your spouse during the wedding". I am an introvert and when I get a hubby lol and we have yk a great relationship and we're close, I would wanna be by his side more during the wedding cus I feel like that's just special and a lot of people can be overwhelming.
Great tips! Can confirm the accuracy of them. ☺️ I had a super tiny wedding - less than 25 people. It was perfect! And I still absolutely HATED the planning process even though it was so simple compared to what most people do. But to your point, because we had the wedding in my grandparents backyard on a lake, everyone who was invited to the wedding got to spend the whole day hanging out there on the lake, boating and swimming in-between setting up decorations and getting ready for the wedding. That was probably my favorite part. I got to be with my guy all day long, too, which was awesome!
Another tip: consider if you want to preserve your flowers and make plans for them if so. I got married last month and the thought never crossed my mind until it was over and we were cleaning up. People came to me asking what I wanted to do with the flowers and all I could think of was just throw them away because I wouldn’t be home to enjoy them since I was leaving the next day for the honeymoon.
My biggest tip as a bride? Anticipate how your body will react to stress/nerves/ all the emotions and PLAN FOR IT! I thought I was calm and cool, but my body was in panic mode the whole day. Once I was finally able to relax and enjoy my wedding, the adrenaline kicked in and I ended up throwing up from it. Had to leave my wedding early because the nerves had taken over 😂 I still had an amazing day but if you know how your body reacts to these situations, plan ahead!!!
This is how my body reacts to stress and I just learned a nausea trick where u smell isopropyl alcohol and its worked good for me so far. U can keep a non-scented germx keychain on u or get some of those little rubbing alcohol packets, like what gets rubbed on u b4 getting a shot at a drs office for on the go and its amazing how fast the nausea goes away!
Wedding dress shopping - go with an open mind, don’t get one kind of dress stuck in your head, you might find something that you NEVER thought would be you, and you fall in love with it. Wedding party - post wedding, everyone forgets stuff after the event. I would suggest having a basket/ box that once everything is used, place it in there. So many other things, but definitely take care of yourself. Too many times, I have heard that the bride and groom didn’t eat anything, and when you leave, you’re exhausted, and starving.
I’m getting married on May 14, 2023 and everything in this video is so relatable. The job of a bride is intense lol and I think this video captures that really well!
I am not engaged or married, but I have friends who are, and it's ok to be engaged and for you to take time to plan you don't have to be like ok I'm engaged wedding dress, venue straight away, but I do guess it does depend on when you get engaged, but go with the mentality that you can take your time to plan after getting engaged or if you know you'll be engaged soon.
I got married July 4th 2021 and we had our venue booked before he proposed as well. Highly recommend to get the date you want! We booked it Labor Day 2020 and he proposed September 25th 2020. Definitely do a private dinner!!! I promise you will actually get to eat, see your spouse and no one will miss you during dinner.
I had an eventful wedding. My stepfather passed out in the parking lot at my reception and was rushed to the hospital. It was stressful but he ended up fine by the end of the night. Love this video!!
Currently planning my own wedding and commenting because as a bride I KEEP forgetting this: Your vendors are guests too! Okay, I get it, you don’t have to feed everyone but it can be in the contract! It’s in my photographers contract that I feed him cause he’s there allllllll day obviously. Make sure to COUNT VENDORS IN for all vendors that care about guest count such as venue space and caterers. I forgot about that and nearly got an incorrect quote from the caterer but he was smart and reminded me lol.
The last advice was 100% YES. My makeup girl canceled on me the day before a few hours before I had to go to sleep. I had to drive to Walgreens because it was the only thing open and bought makeup and I did it myself!
Over the last 2-3 years I have a fairly clear idea of what I want for a wedding. Being in a long term relationship or not, I’ve gotten a good idea of what I want to spend the most on vs not. But I do think it’s a great idea to plan all that In advanced AND Pinterest will be your best friend! Pinterest “wedding board ” with all the little details from dresses, hair, venues, color scheme for flowers, bridal party, picture poses, invitation, rings etc
Currently planning my wedding and the planing process is the most un enjoyable process and it’s so validating to hear that it’s ok I was stressing out even more because it’s not exciting 😂definitely needed this!
I was binge watching y’all like 2 days ago and y’all was so tiny even only a few years ago 😭 Even though y’all are like 3 or 4 years older than me, I feel like I fell asleep, woke again and y’all graduated college. I blink and y’all already married 🥺🫶🏾
Brooklyn it was so comforting to hear you didn't love planning you rwedding.... I get married in 25 days and I have HATED planning this wedding. I know the day will be great but I often feel guilty for being ungrateful for this "special time" when the truth is.... I just want to be married to my favorite person and celebrate with my close friends and family.... and I dont really want to pick out and pay for linens and candles and blah blah blah. I'm glad I'm not alone in this.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! I'm still in high school and don't aticipate getting married in the next few years, but like you guys said, it's never too early to start planning!! (or dreaming, in my case :). Congrats to both of you!!!!!! ❤💍👰
I remember the worst thing was the luncheon with people asking to come. It was crazy how much normal politeness goes out the window… with the reception for me it was a “the more the merrier” situation
I got married this March, and I just want to encourage anyone with body image insecurities. I also had a very hard time settling on a wedding dress, but not because I liked too many. It isn't that I didn't like the dresses, they were beautiful. But I couldn't see myself as beautiful in any of them. My dress is/was beautiful, but I'm still learning to see myself as beautiful in it. I didn't have the dream "say yes to the dress" moment, or live the childhood dream of feeling like a princess, but my husband thought I was beautiful on our wedding day. I'm still working on me, but when I look back at the photos, it's nice to see us together. At the end of the day, we are all beautiful in our own way. We may not always be able to see it ourselves, but that doesn't make it untrue
Very good advice! I especially agree with the part about taking some time to be with your spouse after the ceremony. It really helped my husband and I to process the day, and I could get a bit of a breather! 😅
I am not getting married or anything like that, but in response to point number two it makes sense; I was a bridesmaid in one wedding and after getting my dress altered I don't think I really tried it on until I was wearing it for real, and thankfully it was okay, but there were some elements of my dress that actually sent me into a minor panic attack, and I think it would have been avoided had I tried it in before that day and gotten used to things or figured out solutions before the big day
My friend's wedding was interrupted by a fire alarm caused by thunderstorm, not a fire..... She just laughed about it and upon return into venue, ask all the fireman to be in their pictures. It was crazy happiness!
Yes to designating someone to gather your stuff!👏🏼 I was my friend’s MOH & I tried to keep her stuff gathered, but she was very much like I can do it myself it’s okay. And thennnn she left her wedding dress AT the venue (we stayed overnight)!😅 thankfully they were able to go back to get it bc they didn’t leave until the next week for their honeymoon
I tried on my whole outfit multiple times before my wedding day! For sure recommend! I found my dress several months before I got engaged due to certain logistics. Also worth it! The other thing that saved me stress was I started planning early. It was a year and 4 months that we were engaged. Start bits and pieces early to save stress. Also, let people help you!
For us financially normal people don’t just randomly book venues, losing a down payment is a lot.😂 it’s usually not like 200$ it’s normal in the thousands. Everything else is great.
I got married almost 3 years ago right before Christmas! This video is awesome! The best advice I agree with in it is do what makes you and your spouse to be happy! Also I had the moment of this is my dress the second I put it on thankfully, because I am super indecisive and there were about 5 different "second" choices. Whatever you do, make sure you ENJOY the big day and take it all in as it is! ❤️
This are really some great tips! Both of your weddings were beautiful🤍😍 I went to a wedding when I was younger and it started pouring rain so hard that we were stuck at the cathedral, the venue after was completely flooded and after we left they told us that some people couldn't leave and the dress, food and everything got soaked and ruined but they still had a blast. Thank God there was a hotel right beside the place😂🤷🏻♀️ so YES EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY CAN GO WRONG, just be positive and enjoy it!😅👍🏻😁
I got married in between when you 2 got married. I got married in July of this year. I agree with most of these points. I actually didn't have much time with my spouse until after we finished and were in our hotel. I thought we would for a few minutes but I forgot. I actually didn't mind though. I also got annoyed with people telling me all the time that something would go wrong the day of. Even though, it's true I liked that you guys pointed out to focus on why you're there rather than just leaving it at something will go wrong, which was my experience.
#10 is the most important. Whatever happens, happens and enjoy your day. This was my mentality and had the best wedding day. The other advice I got. Take moments to take everything in. The day goes so fast and it is so good to pause, look around, and notice the little things. I intentionally did this a few times on my wedding day and so happy that i did.
One piece of advice I have heard (I am not engaged or married or even dating) was that to not ask the bride if they are ready for the wedding and get all excited about the planning of it but ask are you ready to be a wife? You are a bride for one day but wife for life so focus on that aspect.
My number 1 best advice, just ENJOY being engaged, DON’T RUSH to do anything for at least a month or two. It is one of the happiest times of a relationship, why rush it when you know you’re going to spend the rest of your lives together. Literally the opposite of your first few suggestions, but just being engaged without the stress yet is honestly the best. I think that is why it was so stressful for Brooklyn, because she rushed to plan without just enjoying being engaged to her babe.
THIS!!! I WISH I hadn’t rushed into planning the wedding we’re getting married December 3rd and I’m STRESSING and we toured our first venue TWO days after we got engaged, I wish we had just let ourselves be excited
Thank you for all the advices and experience. Super helpful. I am not getting married for a decade. Last wish you should have added about getting period on your wedding because Brooklyn was on her period on the wedding day. Love you ❤
I'm with Brooklyn. Hated the thought of having to plan a wedding. So we just gathered our families for a quck visit to a registry office and then lunch at a local restaurant. Been together for over 30 years and married for 14. Yes, I was much older than you guys and we already had kids when we got married, so not the same situation.
Yes to number 10! I will never forget that morning of my wedding after waking up and starting to get ready, the power went out. All my at home getting ready had to be done in the dark with a camping lantern before I left for the venue. Thankfully the venue had power and our power came back on as I was headed out the door. 😂
Not even engaged at the moment, but keeping all these things in mind that nobody ever talks about! I love hearing it from you guys. .especially since you are my age, so fun and interesting to hear you talk about it!
When it comes to the photographer/videographer do your research, and choose wisely, remember your video and photos are your forever memory and you want them to be perfect!
don’t do friends for the photographer/videographer either, it’s an all in all bad idea. get a professional who won’t be distracted. i’ve been to two weddings where that’s happend
Ohh that sounds so sweet and magical ✨️
That's such a sweet memory.
My husband and I did this as well! It was wonderful. One of my favorite parts of the night.

Could you do a video breaking down the costs of both of your weddings (like flowers, food, decorations, etc)? I think it would be great to see the difference in price when you two have very different weddings! Thank you❤
This is a great idea
I was thinking about how good that would be too! People talk about the cost but never the breakdown which is good for those wanting to or planning already
I'm not sure how much their stuff was! That would be interesting to know.
I just wanted to jump in and say that I got married last December, and I can share my wedding costs if anyone is curious. During that time, I also toured a few venues and got their costs, so I could share some of those as well perhaps. Just let me know if you're interested! 🙂
Would LOVE a video like that!!
this! and include how much the flights were and everything
When Bailey said she’s seen people who had their whole wedding in the rain and their sill happy it reminded me of Roni and Aaron’s wedding 🥺
same!
Can we hear a men version of this from their POV’s ? Like how they felt about it and some tips from them?
In terms of price, I think it’s also fair to note that Brooklyn got married this year when inflation is super high and it may have played a part in the weddings being similar in price.
I LOVE that you brought up spending time with your spouse on your day. I am a wedding coordinator in MN and I highly recommend for my couples to find time to spend alone time and soak up all the love and excitement together. I had a lot of couples that decided to have this alone time during the social hour.
I’m also an Event Coordinator in MN!
Romans 10:9-10, 13 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
It gives you a moment at the end of the night to take in the day privately with your spouse :)
I also had a cleaning inventory/checklist and had 4 different friends/family members designed for this task.
I don’t know what it is about Bailey but she’s glowing in this video! ❤
i agree! they both do!! (as always :))
ITK
I agree!!!
I literally had the worst wedding in the world. I mean if anything it could go wrong, it did. It ALL went wrong. But, I’ve been married for 32 years. It’s not about the wedding, it’s about the marriage.
Heck yeah. At the end of the day, as long as you're married & it lasts, that's all that matters.
That's what mattered most of all.
love the way Bailey listens and is so attentive to Brooklyn
It’s funny how when I started watching y’all, you both looked identical.
Now I’ve been watching you for so long that you don’t look identical.
Also, Brooklyn, your wedding was amazing. It was so perfect. 🌲
I loved Baileys too it was so glamorous! ✨
Love y’all.
@@haynesatteh4463 wow, how did you get a spiritual adviser, and how do i reach her?
@@bartholetbay412 her name is MIRIAM CHAMANI DIETRICH, and she is a great spiritual adviser as well as a caster and healer.
y’all are like acting out a skit rn you’ve done this on so many videos lmao
I got married on a Tuesday and it was the best thing about our planning I ever did. Kept the ceremony small and simple and we did the reception with the masses a couple weeks later. Our wedding day was calm and relaxed and we were off and away before dinner and had the rest of the day just for my husband and me. We actually went on a dinner picnic, just the two of us! 💗
I HATED planning my wedding! And honestly I'm glad y'all mentioned Brooklyn not liking the planning process either. I love my husband and loved my Wedding but the stress was a lot on someone with anxiety.
Same. It turned out great but super stressful. I wouldn’t want to ever do it again.
Pro tip: you don't have to book your venue 1-2 years out if you do it on a week day. Plus, you'll save thousands this way!
And most guests won’t show though because of work
@@nikkidutt2034 those who want to come will be there though, i don’t advise relying on “well this friend won’t be able to come” who cares? it’s YOUR day
Good tip!
And the guests didn’t care that we were gone for like 45 minutes!
when bailey was talking about people being happy to get married in the rain i thought of julie and camilla :) their wedding pics were so beautiful!
This feels like the twin power we've missed lately 💕. So glad you both had beautiful and special weddings💚
If you ever want to get your wedding bouquet preserved , do get in touch with me.
congrats!
Loved Brooklyn as a bride, she looked stunning! LOVE U ALL!
I had a super tiny wedding - less than 25 people.
Too many times, I have heard that the bride and groom didn’t eat anything, and when you leave, you’re exhausted, and starving.
we couldn't be more oppostite. dated 10 years, got engaged, engaged 7 months now, no idea what im doing. you guys were SUPER prepared lol
Dated 10 years and your just now getting engaged
@@Pinkkkkk yep!
brooklyn and bailey is becoming like my big sister figures in youtube and i love that. im thankful to have known you guys!!
Currently planning my own wedding and commenting because as a bride I KEEP forgetting this:
Your vendors are guests too!
Baileys personality is so amazing and she inspires me a lot. Love the video!
Love that the outfit choices reflect their individual personalities 😍😍
I just got engaged this weekend and I absolutely needed this!! I am 100% here for more videos like this
Congratulations!! 🤍💍
Congratulations!
My husband and I went out to breakfast the morning of our wedding and exchanged our vows then. It was the perfect way to start the day!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! I'm still in high school and don't aticipate getting married in the next few years, but like you guys said, it's never too early to start planning!! (or dreaming, in my case :). Congrats to both of you!!!!!! ❤💍👰
You guys are truly the big sis’ I need! Btw you guys were both stunning brides! 🤩
This was SO helpful! I’m currently engaged and planning a wedding and appreciate this advice SO much ❤
Very good advice! I especially agree with the part about taking some time to be with your spouse after the ceremony. It really helped my husband and I to process the day, and I could get a bit of a breather! 😅
Literally planning my wedding now as I’m watching this! Glad this came up on my RUclips binge lol these are all SUCH good tips ❤
I didn't physically tour venues before I got engaged but I definitely had a list of places I wanted to check out!
I’m 17 right now and I will be back when I get engaged to watch this again😭
This was so tremendously helpful!!
Can y'all do an engagement version? That would be helpful as well❤️ thank you so much for all your advice ☺️
Very practical and good tips for all faiths, cultures, and people, thanks for sharing! 👰♀️😍
When I got engaged I was looking forward to planning in reality it was a nightmare but, after planning my husband and I were so relieved. 😌
I’ve been watching you for years. I got engaged 2 days ago and I’m so grateful for videos like this.
I’m getting married in a few months and still have so much to plan. This was so helpful, thank you!
Bailey is literally glowing! The fit, hair, makeup, yess!!
For us financially normal people don’t just randomly book venues, losing a down payment is a lot.😂 it’s usually not like 200$ it’s normal in the thousands. Everything else is great.
The average is £1000 for a deposit where I am in the UK so definitely not reasonable to put your name down before getting engaged😂
They said look at venues not necessarily lock in a date
@@NannyDiaries23 they definitely mentioned putting a down payment on a date lol
I think I’m getting engaged next week and we already have our venue🤭 this couldn’t have been more perfect timing!
My first cousin just got married last Saturday!! And I was one of her bridesmaids so I’ll have to share this video with her!!
I actually love the idea of getting ready together. Like and then putting on the dress can be the 1st look
You were literally the most beautiful Brides I've ever seen
