YES. we can debat stuff like Global Mobilization or the WW2 DLC but Western Sahara and now this need to be working like the normal DLCs
Man, I really wished that those CDLCs was integrated to the vanilla gaming, but the Arma's size would be above 100 GB, and also, several gun, vehicles, and gear would be repeated in different levels of quality, but speaking only about the Western Sahara and this DLC in specific, I think they would work great on the vanilla game and not weight too much, without compatibility problems

I wish this game was on Consoles. I know there's Reforger, but I don't think many people play it and isn't as much content/systems as there are for ARMA 3.
Heaps more people are playing Reforger since the last couple of updates (about 10k- 15k players a day?). It’s finally in a pretty good state now. Check it out. It’s the future of Arma
consoles was considered at trash in technical ways at 2013 and before, it would downgrade arma series to some pile of crap if it was ported to consoles...

@@Foxster_13i wasn't trying to be mean, sorry.. but at those times consoles was so weak on technical ways, even GTA V was downgraded to make it work at PS4 at 30 FPS, the main reason is why arma good because the *GRAPHICS* and physics that only PC's could handle. (even though arma is special for PC arma series are known with its optimization problems)

arma 3 engine is very outdated. its based on the original operation flashpoint engine which started development in 1997. check out arma reforger if you want to see the new engine and get a glimpse at what the future arma will look like.

Bro? Mods? Arma 3 is litteraly made for them. Its the whole purpose. For animations, Webknight does alot. For effects, blastcore murr edition. Shadows and lighting you just need to have a good pc lol.

No reforger sucks and its less optimised and lots of other shit im staying on 3 forever.
I have 3000+ hours on A3 and I love it, but I’ve barely been back since Arma Reforger came out. I love the look of this DLC but it’s the first A3 DLC I won’t buy because I know I just won’t open A3 anymore. Playing A3 now feels clunky and the graphics too old school. AR is so smooth and immersive. Granted AR is about 1% of A3, but that 1% is SO much better

That has the be the saddest Firefighter uniform I've ever seen in arma. My 8 years old little brother could've made a better re-skin. One would expect at least a new model and a proper textures for the firefighters since they are the "focus" of this CDLC. Also the "Fire trucks" are just poor re-skins for existing "clearly not firefighting" vehicles. What was supposed to be a patch for Western Sahara repackaged as a stand alone CDLC just to milk us the remaining "fools" of fans that will purchase about anything labeled CDLC even when this is not even part of the base game and has to be "activated" externally for it to appear (yes, less than 5GB of content has to be enabled externally). Why? Well so that no server uses the assets and no modder can fix its mediocrity. I would bet anyone that after milking the few "precocious" fanboys they will be dropping the price to 2 USD which is what this is worth at most. Final piece of advice: Buy this at full price and feel the regret in full force minutes afterwards ;)

This whole thing wasn't supposed to be an update or a "patch" to WS.
Hello. Firefighters aren't the "focus" of this CDLC. The focus are the helicopter, pickup, UAV, mortars, and weapons. Everything else is just a bonus. Also I have no idea where the hell that "this was supposed to be a patch for Western Sahara" is coming from. I saw it repeated a few times already but it's completely wrong. The helicopter was at first imagined for Western Sahara, but that's all there is to it -- none of the other stuff was ever meant to be for anything else but the new project.
