Previously referred to under its codename "Orange DLC", the Arma 3 Laws of War DLC adds a new faction called IDAP (humanitarian aid organization), mini-campaign ("Remnants of War"), Van (multiple variants with over 20 liveries), Utility & Demining Drone (multiple variants), APERS Mine Dispenser, clothing and gear, time trial challenges, and more. The package is supported by a free Arma 3 platform update, which highlights include: refined cluster strikes, the simulation of Unexploded Ordnance, the ability to drop (custom) leaflets from the sky, two new Showcase scenarios, emergency and medical supplies, decorative objects, and extra Steam Achievements.
Half of Bohemia Interactive's net revenue from direct sales (not as part of bundles) of the Arma 3 Laws of War DLC in 2017 will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The total amount raised will be announced on bistudio.com in 2018.

I have actually been very satisfied with every DLC from Bohemia which I have bought so far. I have no reason to get mods because I find these DLCs more high quality. Mods don't include campaigns and I think I have already played the best campaigns which I have found from internet. However, there are high quality mods and some which I like.

Some mods are awesome, such as RHS, JSRS Soundmod, Project OPFOR, Blastcore Edited (standalone version), Enhanced Soundscape and Ares. Forgot to mention ACE and ASR AI3.
But I also like the DLCs. Even though some are a little expensive for what they contain, I still buy them. I buy them because BI are constantly updating the game and constantly releasing free DLCs, and updates such as Malden, Eden, Zeus and 64-bit.
Also don't forget how people without the DLCs can still sit in the back of new vehicles, for example. On servers with custom systems for spawning in weapons, people without the Marksman DLC, for example, can still buy the DLC weapons.
Labour isn't free, and the free DLCs and updates also cost money to make, so me buying all the paid DLCs is in a way me voluntarily paying for the free ones as well.

If you go to the DLC page you can see exactly what ZF will be using. The leaflet drone, mines, cluster strikes.

Never because this engine is not possible to run with bigger object than tank / I mean have correct functionality with multiple people at the same object + you must count the physix and lots of stuff which you need to attach on the model.
There are mods of ships with manageable guns and passenger seats. So if a
third-party modification can run well, I'm pretty sure the actual
creators of the game and engine are able to do it.

Experience life after the war as a veteran, living with your wounds and PTSD, all while realising all you fought for was a bunch of rich buggers making money out of human misery. End the campaign with a failed suicide attempt and waking up in a psychiatric ward, afraid and alone.

Play as Kerry, get women in the game, give him only a few benefits to fit the conscription and economy tanking, remove the rich bugger realization and you have Kerry telling stories to his kids about being better than CTRG

Judging by the screenshots on the homepage, we might get an improved logistical system . Also i like the aproach of the DLCs, way to less games are talking about civilian losses in war. I am once again hyped up.

Kapn that would be awesome. If they added better logistics and then in the tacops dlc brought it all together to streamline combined arms game play that would be great. As of right now though, a couple bombs, a new drone, and a red cross faction doesn't hype me up much at all.

As soon as I found out "ORANGE" was made in Amsterdam I was willing to bet it would have something to do with humanitarian law.
Captain hindsight is an Amsterdammer.
Sometime the enemy can use protective symbols against you to sneak in various supplies (ammo & enemy troops for instance) being patrolled by your forces. Your enemy knows no such respect.
You might not be allowed to fire on vehicles, with protected markings but you can still stop and inspect them.
If they engage you, you are free to open up, because they just revoked their protected status.
Now i can say... this is a complete war simulator
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of multiplayer missions will be thought up.
So basically this DLC governs everything SovietWomble and the ZF clan completely ignore. Including Doomsday rounds.
I can tell right away this will go well with them.

An Action has Consequences. - This is an important idea and the important step for the combat simulator. I hope, the new contents and the new rules will be included into the missions like the King of the Hill, so it will become something more, than just advanced Battlefield.

i can see that when we buy this dlc a part will be going to the red cross, but what I don't understand is how will this change the way we play? just because we get a new vehicle, a new map, new clothes, or maybe new tech and weapons does not change the way we play...there is just something i am not understanding about this DLC.
I would like to play the dlc but if arma stops working after 5 minutes i cant lul,even when i reinstalled it the steps from steam couldnt load fully it just loads unlimited
