Amazing video , so real and honest and you're a grafter, awesome content just shows what can happen in what may seem a straightforward breakdown, keep em coming 👏
Really good , thanks for posting , had a call-out today - meter capped after smart meter fitted , 14 mb drop recorded , traced leak to gas valve passing on a 37 cdi , over £200 for replacement conversion kit gas valve .
Good video pal. I’ve just subscribed. All I do is service repair, so I feel you’re pain! Tip; I’ve got the plastic thread of the pressure sensor out using the blow lamp on very low and an O ring picker.
Thank you for uploading this video just shows I’m not the only one dealing with real life scenarios cross threaded snapping off in your hands so it’s not only me ! LOL! top marks mate keep them coming
Haha not at all mate, we all get absolute nightmare jobs! Some guys will only show the good and that’s not life in this game 😂 Thanks mate and will do 👍
@@snapgas9832 Have you got any videos on viessmann boilers ?? as I’ve started fitting them now last 10 years and mainly work on them find them a great boiler very easy to work on and all parts front facing push clip. What’s your thoughts on them?
18mm joker wera ratchet spanner for those flow turbines, fits nice and snug and works a treat! Also get a ridged (I.e. one side) manometer tube, pushes on nice and easy on those drain points
If it helps….I’ve taken loads out (maybe 7ish) now successfully..found out..if you get a long flat screwdriver and a small hammer or anything to tap with…tap it on where the thread screws into that brass manifold…(halfway down manifold body)…I found it loosens the gunk around the thread inside the manifold.
I liked the little story. A tenant reported boiler not working. Underneath the boiler was a smart meter with the message ' gas supply interrupted, top up credit' or something similar. The gas hob wasn't working. I told the tenant she had no gas and she said thanks for that, did you fix the boiler?
Really ? Went to job today f75 direct labour topped up pressure so switch would make pissed off next job lofts been ‘checked’ for past 3 services ZERO flue clamps fitted next job greenstar direct attended 3 days ago topped pressure up for gurgling sound condensate solid undersink and your life is hell mate

Real life on the job repairs bud we all get a boiler like the potteron 1 you did 👍
Yep it’s a pain but I got there! Perseverance 😂 and blood 😂
Am no sure if you used socket rench on turbine makes job a bit easier
I actually ended up using just a pair of grips but literally swinging off it to get it loose 😂
Nice video I find this longer format better than your tiktok content so I've followed and clicked the bell
Thanks Paul! I enjoy this type of content! So I will put this type up from now on! Appreciate what you’ve done ✅
Spot on mate
Thank you glad you liked it
Good video mate
Thanks mate
I've yet to get a flow turbine out of a Baxi/Potterton in one piece so well done. They always break off and then obviously its a new manifold.
I was wondering at first how the hell uiu get it out! I was swinging off it 😂

Good video mate, my day consists of usually crying all day. 😂

Could do with a vid of a Isar or icos heat exchanger replacement pal😂😂
Then I’ll be crying! Dreading the day that happens 😂 and it will happen knowing my luck 😂
@@snapgas9832 same for me pal. It’s coming. Supposed to be a bastard too
Even looking at them scares me 😂 will be on here when it happens
Not you, but your fellow contractors make life at work hell.
Oh dear mate 🤦♂️ what area do you cover?

Get yourself a ratchet and an 18mm socket and you'll be whipping those flow turbines out in seconds, no need to remove the gas valve or anything else
Thanks mate! Just ordered an 18mm socket!! Proper pain 😂
@@snapgas9832 no worries mate, I used to just change the whole manifold but the 18 socket is a game changer 😂
Get yourself an18mm Wera Joker ratchet spanner. Also fits Logics Not all 18mm sockets will fit those turbines.
Good job 👌 thanks for your efforts 🙂🙂
Thanks mate. Thanks for watching
Do you contract for BG?
