What no one appears to mention is what a good neighbour Colin appears to have. Couldn’t say I’d be so considerate and accommodating. Good job Colin has such a skilled operator in you.
@@12345NoNamesLeft i think i recall someone saying he pays for them to go on holiday when he needs to do a stint in the hole (other side) idk how much truth is in that tho
Yea, I hadn't thought much about it with the other videos but seeing just how close he is to the house in this one, I think I'd be cussing Colin everyday if I was his neighbor. This video really shows how much of an expert Tom is with that digger.
You're exactly the kind of precise operator that this situation requires. Able to work around all the cables with third party directions to help you navigate the unseen. If I ever need anything dug well in the UK (Extremely unlikely considering I live in Australia!) or anyone I know in the UK needs similar work, I'll be sure to send a phonecall your way
I think Colins take on this little exercise in digging is going to be epic. Hopefully his next video isnot far way. Good on you Tom. Cheers from Australia.
Should have started this mini series from the beginning🤷♂️ Never really considered all the factors, prescision and obstacles you’ve had to deal with on each scoop or maneuver, really does shed some light on your skills to accomplish what you have 👏👏👏
It almost looks like Tom knows what he is doing, all what is left now is for Concrete cat Dave to put in an appearance. 😁It is always great to see a skilled operator at work. 😎
Awesome fun I like all Lamb footage to be honest!! Everyone love a Furze build to. I think the biggest thanks and shout out should go to Colin’s neighbour who has been a massive support to Colin in allowing this and use of his drive etc great sport.
Wonder just how many hours, in varying kit, it took y'all to master the controls to do that precise of craftsmanship?!? You constantly surprise me with all the skills, including humor! (Been a builder for close to 5 decades, drove my first dozer at 6, lol!). Very Nice ! Thanx !
I remember when Colin started digging, bringing the dug out dirt in a bag to the pub and leave it there, inconspicuously. Now he's getting rid of the dirt by the truckload
Thanks Tom for the update on Colinze insanity! Really enjoy the friendship you and Colinze have. Anticipating an update video from Colinze. Be well my friend! I Enjoy your channel very much! Pete in Florida.
Well what to say Colin would have been lost without your help on this project, and your operating skills are amazing to watch and clearly you are very skilled. The only one thing I found was the intro which i found a little slow to pick up, for me personally a intro is what grabes me into the video
I wonder....since Colin is no doubt a genius and inventor, why hasn´t he come up with some sort of RC-Control for your machine?! That way you can stand in the hole and see exactly where you need to move your equipment.
Great video! You and Colin are the kind of guys I would really enjoy hanging out with! I have an idea for another project for you! Add a back up camera to your digger put two cameras on the are so you can see down into the holes while you’re digging. One camera could be a wide angle view and the other could be focused closer. You could keep the monitor in the cab and you could still add two more cameras for viewing behind you.!
The thing with your pressure equaliser tap, is when you use it before realising the attachment, it releases any pressure in the attachment too, saves wacking the ends.
A hole different video Tom Lamb "now we're geologists" Foundation course in burrowing lol Dig the change in content NEWS FLASH A hole has appeared, neighbours are looking into it Thanks Tom You really do educate aswell as entertain Geoff
Fantastic vid. You even managed to capture the wandering minstral of Stamford, Rick, in his natural habitat. The UK really needs to find better activities for their pensioners, maybe shuffleboard? 😅😅😂
Love what your doing on your channel. Not just helping out Collin and his mad idea's But also seing your side of the fence per say. Good on ya buddy :) Can't wait to see more for sure.
Nice work. I guess cleaning up the corners would have been a lot easier with one of those rotating couplings between arm and bucket/rhinohorn. Your crane is probably not really suited for that. And it must surely cost a lot more.
This was brilliant, great to see your perspective of the digging, was a bit surreal you coming in on camera in the iconic shed, instead of Colin, but fantastic nonetheless!
You should put a camera on the Arm of the Digger and Link it to a Tablet or I,PAD in the Cab so you can see in the Hole. Maybe get one of them Ring Camera's that are wireless I have them in my house linked to my Phone and computer and TV and so easy to setup
I have wondered if Manufacturers will add mirrors or cameras on the arms of diggers to allow to see downwards into a hole or ditch. Or Coin bless his heart could have added a large mirror temporarily to other side of hole for you to reflect of and see into down there.
The tap was a genius build. I may have to have you and Emily over here in the US. I'm thinking of putting in a bunker, a tunnel from our house to the bunker, and an elevator to get down to the tunnel.
Hi Tom. You said in Colin's videos it looks like you are digging for 20 minutes and then go home. This gives a better view of the actual time it takes, along with the effort and challenges. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers.👍
So glad you did a crossover posting with Colin. Just seems right in a way. Thanks for helping him....
I wouldn't have known Colin exists.. Thanks algorithm !
You've been helping Colin with this since day 1, glad to finally see your side of things 👍🏻😁
Band Practise was most impressive.
I can only imagine you and Colin are a good laugh to work with! Love both of ur vids man!
Thank you for sharing, nice job Tom ! I like the noise of the by-pass hydraulic valve :) beeep

Colin bought the attached house too.

Colin bought the atached house a few years ago.
The way you and Colin carry on is hilarious. Love watching y'all together.
Good to see Rick again! keep up the good work tom!
Appears Rick has been hiding off camera

What a fantastic video. Your digger skills amaze me more and more Tom
Thanks 👍
Very skilled Mr lamb, brilliant video 😊
I love seeing a vlog covering this stuff with a less filtered and more even keel attitude behind it.
You’re both a pair of legends! Dreamed as a kid of doing just this in the driveway!
Holy-Moly!
.. it's Tom Lamb!
You have the power to put the whole block without power.. You are kinda like a super hero.
It's only a phone line. In the UK electrical services are nearly always underground
Colin Furze and Tom Lamb are exceptional, as is Colin’s neighbour; there aren’t many of them about.
Very skilful. Ask Colin to knock you up a digger that can be driven with an XBox controller so you can be in the hole when digging.
I think Colins take on this little exercise in digging is going to be epic. Hopefully his next video isnot far way. Good on you Tom. Cheers from Australia.
Terrified about the digger teetering on the edge, yet Colin on a trike in a wheel of death, no trouble 😅

Can't express how much watching Tom work makes me chuckle. :D
9:20 flipping good skills Mr Lamb. Flipping heck man!
Epic! Actually on the edge of my seat at times. Tom Lamb, that's some mighty skilled work. Looking forward to pt2.
7:15 probably the best insight into the actual secret of how diggers dig, absolutely genius
Great work Tom I'll come down and be your banksman if Colin cooks the breakfast.

This is some of the gnarliest ground I’ve ever seen!
You guys are both legends. I've been subscribed to Mr Furze for like.. a decade now. I'm happily subscribed to you too now!
Absolutely howling throughout !!!!! laughter from the off 😂😂😂😂 cheers lads!!!
Tom you’re a great help for Colin 🤠 finally see the end until he decides to do a tube train 😝
Well I think you do to many more of these kinds of jobs you need a remote kit for that digger. Now that would be fun!!!
Awesome, its like thrill seeking digger driver!.
Watch the cables, watch the tree, watch the roller shutter door (oh wrong location!) 😛
Mate what a job, now we're diggind!
Thanks for sharing Tom!

tom lamb the ultimate friend what a good bloke
You are an artist with that machine, kudos
Excellent video. Good fun to watch. Thanks Tom Lamb.
Glad you enjoyed it
You need Colin to set up a camera system on the end of your boom, like a cars reversing camera.
I wonder....since Colin is no doubt a genius and inventor, why hasn´t he come up with some sort of RC-Control for your machine?! That way you can stand in the hole and see exactly where you need to move your equipment.
tom lamb is a smooth operator for sure
Wow. Great skills with the digger. That precision is really impressive.
Thanks 👍
Perfect video to watch at 5:30 in the morning.
Great video, Tom. That is some job digging that hole your making a great job at it
I wish we had this vantage point from the beginning. Better late than never.
I would have broken windows of other houses as well with this machine. Nice work and control !
Thanks 👍
You missed a trick Tom, the hole you dug didn't escalate, it escavated into tunnel. 😂
Great video Tom and great to see your side but it’s sad as well no more pizza 👍👍

Tom your skills are off the scale. The control you demonstrated was incredible and to think you are a farmer as well. What a skill set you have.
Farmers can do anything
@@Tomlamb980 Indeed they can. To miss quote Mr T “Pity the fool who messes with a Farmer” 😀

Colin who now? I’m here for Tom! 😂
Oh and Rick the legend.
Great work from Tom as always keep them coining 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣
i love how u put the camera on so many different spots to keep it interesting
Thanks! 😊
Colin and Tom , together, in the garage, can’t get any better!
Brilliant cross over video and to see the progress. You really do have some skill with that digger. Nathan

I mean at this point, let's be honest, Tom Lamb literally carries this work. There wouldn't be a Colin Furze channel without Tom Lamb 😅 4:23
Correct
@ there is no i in 'Tom Lamb', or in the word 'team' come to think of it.
Great work Tom! Got an idea for you - wireless camera on the boom and a screen in the cab :)
The inbuilt plinko wall...😂

Good skills there Mr Lamb

Love your perspective Tom. Keep up the good work lad 😊

Great stuff mate!👍🏻
I've got a Colin Furze tshirt but I think it's time to get a Tom Lamb one too ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Love watching these videos of you on digger plus telehandler for Colin furze
