Issues Little Red had over the last few years: •Brake master cylinder replaced •Brake servo replaced •Multiple leaks •3 brake cylinders replaced •Stripped splines on window wiper •Axle blew up, needed replacing •Exploded battery because of faulty alternator over charging. •Multiple alternators •Alternator bracket snapped off, needed welding up. •Hydraulic ram replaced, jamming •Charging Regulator replaced •Multiple brake adjustments needed •Brake pad metal bent, because it's thin chinese metal, needed bending back. Not much.... 😂
Good afternoon D&J team.... we all love a new machine day 😊😊😊😊 Stevie I.always go right through with a spade bit when when I use one as I put a bit of scrap wood behind the hole so the spade bit doesn't blow out the back side but I'd also rather use a Foster bit for a cleaner hole.
Hi guys love the the new machine you have work hard for it your business is going to go a long way you all work so hard at DJ projects and do A1 work you all have a lovely week 😊😊😊
The Chinese machines are ok for a small growing business, but you don't see many if any with 6k+ hours on them, whereas you do see JCB and other brands with big hours still going strong. We use telehandlers a lot and tried many different brands, Manitou, chinese brands and JCB. The headstock broke off on the Manitou demo we had, with 1.5ton of fertilizer on the front of it. The Chinese machines just felt cheap and plasticy, and we didn't like the controls. So we went with a 1 year old JCB over the the latter. We tend to have our machines longer than 2-3 years so investing more into isn't an issue. But for smaller growing companies the Chinese machines have their place.
For spade bits you'll have an easier time with the Bosch Expert range (blue tipped ones) - they're effortless and a real time saver. Great work all round team D&J - nice to see the new addition and investments being made.
been a subscriber for ages, i think well over 2 years. Not watched one of your videos for what seems months, not entirely sure why tbh, change of routine etc but came back today - the videos are still 🔥🔥
Im loving the drone footage at start, very majestic looking lol. Well done on your new purchase u deserve it as yu work bloody hard so its well deserving.
*Hi D and J family* , my good god there are some great comments and *ridiculous* ... Assuming these people must be *joking* about the origins of this machine ....and they don't use or own a *TV / mobile or anything electronic in their lives or homes which is impossible if they're communicating on this platform* .... *My opinion* - A lovely new edition to the D and J asset list and as per reinvestment back into the company ! The compressor and nailer save so much time ! Lovely fencing job 👏 👏 *Nice to see a return of the drone footage too* .... See you Sunday 🙏 🙏 Gary 🦉
Love to see the drone in action. Loving the new Chinese digger, I know how much you think of it as a worker in the yard. Fencing looking great as always Stevie. X
Really enjoyed that fence job, looked brilliant at the end 😊 Nice new shiny machine, hope it makes you as much if not more than the last one. That yard gets moved around often but good to see you are always looking at ways to get more efficient and getting most out of the asset.
Great to see you constantly evolving the yard. Loved the tongue and groove gate. Not sure it needed the handle around the key lock as it has the latch one above it. - 2 handles looked strange.
Another fine D&J video nice new machine in the little red 2, hope you get the best out of the new yard layout when it is finished can't wait to see it fully operational 👍
Love all the positive changes. Dave does love new things.. Great fence and gates. Nice to go touch up the walkway for the customer. One reason you are a Top Quality Business… Yard of your Dreams by Christmas… yes indeed. How’s Mr. Pickles??
Loving the new machine and getting some work out of it straight away that,s what you got it for to get your moneys worth. A nice bit of drone footage of the new machine arriving well done Stevie .
I remember when you purchased the original little red... You definitely get alot of machine for the price tag 💯 That fence work looks amazing, I've always thought a well built cant rail fence looks much smarter 👌🏾
Should do a half lap joint on the fence rails rather than the usual way you do it or how it's been done in this video 👍 Not knocking by the way just a suggestion, keep the videos coming!! ❤
There was a moment on the gate install where Scotty2hotty was other side of fence and probably didn't realise Stevie was filming and he just uttered 'Smashed it' as if he's just full of pride with the work carried out, and that sums the team at D&J up, they always like to feel proud of every job/task taken. The lights on littleRed2 obviously work well, but do stop and have breaks!
Little disappointed in the negative comments about JCB a major British manufacturer that is an extremely successful company. I’m sure the new machine is more than adequate for your needs but I don’t think we need to have derogatory comments about JCB. You have a great channel but while I appreciate you give an opinion but why knock British with Chinese especially when you have had some issues with both? All machines by their very nature require regular maintenance but even with that they do occasionally have problems.
Gday Dave and Steve, I'm kind of surprised by the hater replies here regarding the loader, I've looked at these too, and they're good value. As you've said, I have also found there are a few main leaders in Branded models that need to step up a lot more on reliability and customer support, for the dollar value they ask. My question to you is, do you buy yours directly from the manufacturer or a local importer? I bought my machine directly, and it's the shipping and import taxes that also need to be factored into a single purchase, as it adds up quickly too, and something people considering, need to understand. I bought mine, its of similar style and size from another group, with a selection of attachments, because a normal Joe like myself just can't hire, some of the expensive unique attachments that make these machines perfect for my needs, and like you, I have had no major flaws, and for its dollar value it makes sense to buy something for your specific purpose. Yeah I've had a few minor issues, but nothing a good mechanical background can't fix, or I simply just bought 2of one thing and had spares available. Enjoy your Channel and your teams work ethics, keep it up 👍
Nice digger, nice video, and hopefully you get that driveway that looks like it is falling into a chasm where that new fence was installed. Homeowner needs to put some rubber on that window sill, so the gate doesn't get damaged hitting the sill
congrats on the medium red love it and she will earn her money back quick they way you guys are smashing it out of the park she can earn her keep on rental too theres an idea best of look with her shes a beut
That would kill me looking at the amazing job at the back or side of house looks brilliant and the front looks rubbish I would have to have it done straight away smashing job from and Steve and Scott
Nice to see the new digger some people hating on the Chinese digger going on about the jcb i bet they have never brought their own plant and probably never drove one either good on you d& j keep safe
Another cracking video lads, loving the new machine, just for the record used to work for JCB a few year’s back they ain’t what they used to be, you would be surprised how many parts come from china/Japan
Great video again. I’m sure your new machine will be more than good enough for what you need. The money that you’ve saved can be invested elsewhere into the business 👍
Nice new addition , its all about money and if you could buy the same at the same price here I am sure you would have but that is not the way it goes , everything costs so much more here so no wonder the Chinese get most of the orders , thumbs up to you guys for running a well liked business .👍
Just look back to last year and how far you've come but its at a cost and thats Hard Graft everyday so i say good for you all and you really need a good old patt on the back its well earned .
Great Wednesday special 😁 and yes we know the soil is on offer because some of us have seen Chelsea and Maureen's collaboration on Instagram 😂😂. Some great singing there Chelsea 😊
Stevie On your gates I would always have a fixed measurement from bottom of the gate to the bottom of mid rail Then you would always know where the key lock is situated But Big respect to you all
love the new toys guys and another great episode as always, was just wondering if stevie often has to say sorry about the length of it 🙂 sorry couldnt resist!!! keep the great vids coming guys and girls at D&J
I will say though, JCB started off as a single man with a dream similar to D and J, it grew because he made good and innovative machines, as a result, creating thousands of job that support many families in the Uk. So when you say “JCB killer” I hope not, because I remember the English man who innovated the machines of today, the people and families it provides jobs for, and it’s important to support British manufacturing. (Support uk economy and the strength of the gbp) Plus the Chinese machines wouldn’t exist without the innovations of the name brands paving the way for China manufacturers to copy.. Plus in lockdown I could still get parts from JCB... Couldn’t with the latter lol.. 😂
Fully understand the costing differential of the Chinese loader, but please dont big it up against a quality, well designed, well engineered JCB machine. Its a cheap and nasty thrown together from odd bits item copied from other machines as with most Chinese products
Careful, a good few will be triggered by you having a point of view, seeing some comments on here people are easily offended once someone with a different view has something to say, and I actually agree with your comment 👍
Yea Stevie with that gate, you fitted, how about a bump stop on the floor, to stop gate striking the kitchen wall ? Not a criticism just an observation, do you go as far as Cannock, to remove and fit fence ?
20:45 Pavers need to be fixed but I guess the customer knows that. There is definitely a sinkhole/drainage problem. It's going to be a bear to fix in the future. You should warn the customer now it needs to be done soon. If left undone, it will be a disaster.
Love new machine day 👍. Just curious though Dave, will it fit under the door if you have weight on the forks etc? Or will you have to drop the pallet to the floor and push it under? As I can see the back end and cab raise with front weight.
You can use them for spade bits but recommend are impact rated bits, using a non impact rated bit in an impact driver can cause injury and cause the bit to break and may break the drill itself in some cases
What happened to the comparison between the 2 machines and a bit more detail on the powered barrow? Also, I don’t think it’s good practice to use an impact gun with a spade bit, not the right tool for the job, which is something you say all the time guys.
New machine joining the D&J family, i liked the drone footage of it arriving ❤ Do people think that you're stupid and don't know what you're doing when you make your decisions on machinery, obviously you make your decisions for the best of your company and bank balance. I don't know why people have to make such negative comments 🤨 nice fencing and gate jobs 👍🫶
Stevie I actually like the colour of how the fence and gate is btw if it was me I would've had the handle side ways but that's only because I smash my knuckles all the while 😆 🤣 😂 😹

No apologies necessary, Stevie, for the length of the video - it was “quality” (as always) and vey enjoyable.
The Struggler will be happy you have bought another piece of high quality cheese to keep him in work
Hi guys love the the new machine you have work hard for it your business is going to go a long way you all work so hard at DJ projects and do A1 work you all have a lovely week 😊😊😊

The d and j boys doing what works for their successful business! Nice one lads!

Another good episode , love the new machine. The yard taking shape is great to see .
The hit and miss fencing and gate goes amazingly well with the home design
Another fine D&J video nice new machine in the little red 2, hope you get the best out of the new yard layout when it is finished can't wait to see it fully operational 👍
Nice "hit & miss" fence but the one in the poles was lovely.
Lovely new digger , and the IKLE machine ??????
Love all the positive changes.

Looks like a cracking bit of kit guys 👍. Great addition to the D& J fleet, hope it does well for you 🤞🥳
That would kill me looking at the amazing job at the back or side of house looks brilliant and the front looks rubbish I would have to have it done straight away smashing job from and Steve and Scott
Looks like a digger and an enclosed mobility scooters had a baby
Lovely new vehicle well done and grand fencing Stevie and Scottie tc all the oldies 👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
Why don’t you use power saws when cutting the wooden posts? Would it save time and energy ?
Nice to see the new digger some people hating on the Chinese digger going on about the jcb i bet they have never brought their own plant and probably never drove one either good on you d& j keep safe

Very good on your new machine, fencing and gate looking great.😊
That is a fantastic new toy you have. Congratulations.😊
No blame on anyone making the gate yourself 😝 nice looking fence to hide the scary drop! 📉
Be nice to support companies were possible

well done Steve measure em make em fit em man of many talents and we love a new machine
i think you said in a video some time back That you put a slope on the top of wood post to let the rain get off better
Should put yah beacons on when working in the yard in machines especially when it's dark, tis what they're there for 🚨
Buy Scotty too Hotty a chop saw, he’ll get those post cut in half the time 😂😂😂😂
Good afternoon everyone looks good out there hope everyone one is well 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙋♂️

Gday Dave, a great Wednedsay Episode. A nice upgrade🙌😊👍😁
Looks good. Makes sense - newer vehicle - lower monthly payment. Win win. Dave Birmingham
Nice job mate by you and Scotty have a great evening 👍👍
loving the new toys and drone footage 👏👏
When using a spade bit a drill is far easier it has hoghwr rpm and will make a smoother quicker hole

Brilliant content lads, smashing it as always boys!!!
Not a fan of imports, but understand on price etc. But that was the same for Japanese motorcycles. Now no industry left.
Love new machine day 👍. Just curious though Dave, will it fit under the door if you have weight on the forks etc? Or will you have to drop the pallet to the floor and push it under? As I can see the back end and cab raise with front weight.

Congrats on the new digger 👏🏻👏🏻
Nice job fellas!! ( 13:49) 👍👍
I love your work guys, well done!
Stevie - did you contact the neighbor to see if they wanted to pay for featheredge on their side of the fence?
Are you going to try the rock crusher inline with the trommel
Nice vlog, enjoyed it 👍.
Scott needs a sharp saw and a new spoon bit
Nice job stevie boy not too shabby 😂 top job
Stev why are you using a impact driver to drill but good bit of fencing and gate
You can use them for spade bits but recommend are impact rated bits, using a non impact rated bit in an impact driver can cause injury and cause the bit to break and may break the drill itself in some cases

As for the digger you can only piss the winkle you have got pay three times the price if it was yellow or orange
