    💬 What do you think about the noise levels of this compressor compared to other models? Is it quiet enough for your situation?

    5:51 I=P/U 4600 W / 230 V = 20 A. However, the starting current might trip a C20 A breaker. In Denmark, we are not allowed to have an unbalanced household phase load of more than 16 A. An unbalanced phase load in a neighborhood can cause a power outage that would normally last a few seconds to last for hours, as it is harder to reconnect an unbalanced load.

      @srenjensen3817 haha yeah the 20A result was in the textbox. But due to it not being big enough it went ... . They also have a 2 and 1 motor version for lower currents. I just made mine 3 phase due to needing to spread the load.

      @DJGeosmin i googled the model number that is on the type plate and you end up on some china oem website. They must all come from there.

      I google'd the model number that is on the back, and it leads to a Chinese OEM. This could have been made much quieter ... I'm doing some modifications and am checking what works and what does not. I should be able to remove another 20-50% off the noise it makes. The design of this is quite basic.

    The compressor “motors” look exactly like my little oilless vacuum pump. One side of my pump blows the other sucks. Choose your poison.

      @@thisoldman7142 they are quite a bit bigger than my vacuum pump. These are about 1.5kw each.

      They totally are oiless compressors. I salvaged a few from dead oxygen generators

    you have a problem with your shop if the compresor is inside just saying

      Generally here, it is always inside. As I just have a regular (adjoined) house in a quiet village, I need to keep the noise down.

    If you want quiet then vain compressed air with a 250 litter tank

    • @BuildItAnyway
      @BuildItAnyway  2 месяца назад

      @Richard-oc4lx there are some advantages and also disadvantages to it. But it is indeed a valid option. I looked at a few of them, but they were too expensive (even used) in my area. Do you use one?
