Anyone criticizing her looks should be ashamed of themselves! She’s speaking about a traumatic experience that can help another person who’s been in her shoes, but y’all wanna body shame her? That’s wack! This isn’t a “let’s judge her looks” video, it’s an domestic abuse awareness video. I hope she gets alll the healing she needs because you can she’s a beautiful inside and out!
Of course, no one should be focusing on her appearance simply for esthetic reasons. But just be aware that how a person presents physically can be a telltale symptom of some significant mental health issues. For instance, someone wearing odd pairings like mismatched shoes, clothing inside out or oddly askance, excessive amounts clothing layered over each other, excessive jewelry, etc. For women, they often manifest mental problems by odd or very garish makeup. Her odd makeup my just be a symptom that she is still "going through it", and someone needs to keep an eye on her.
@@mama-nono3652 I 100% agree. It’s always something way more deeper than getting work done and changing their appearance. It’s one of the ways to suppress that old identity of who they once were during those dark times. Therapy and a support system that makes a person feel safe is the best option for those who are going through this. I’m a DV survivor & I’ve been there before with what you’ve mentioned. I learned that instead of focusing on my physical appearance, there’s a lot of internal healing that needs to take place so I can feel confident within myself. It gets better over time when a person is focusing on their mental health first!

Agreed. A moderator seriously needs to delete these trolling comments criticizing her looks. I think it's completely unacceptable for a victim to have to deal with any type of bullying after telling their story 😢

Happened to me. The man tried to steal my identity and dismantle my looks. Worst thing ever but here's the truth......I knew he wasn't the one for me from the beginning but he did the right type of love bombing that was necessary for the chapter I was in. He found me on the clearance rack but I was always an unused Chanel bag that got misplaced due to mishandling. I've since found myself and doing better but I sometimes cry when I look at some of my pics prior to meeting the master narcissist. I say master because my mother was the first and greater narcissist but my lover almost finished me. IM FINALLY FREE

@@thiccredgyal3404 so many things. Caused me stress by creating havoc. Sometimes on purpose and other times because his brain just couldn't process the right way to do things (he was forgetful + procrastinating all the time). He cut my hair when I was sleeping. Sleep deprivation......arguing late at night. Waking me up early. Feeding me all the time......getting angry and starting fights for silly things especially when I'd go to the gym (especially without him). So many things! Glad its over. Funny thing is.....there were so many great moments but plot twist.....they were wrapped in a tortilla made from shit. Imagine the taste! It was smooth for 2 weeks....crazy for 1 and the cycle repeated until that one night. I hope anyone reading this learns + heals and grows. I take some responsibility because I let the unhealthy parts of my life (trauma stemming from childhood) lead me in a relationship that started with trauma bonding. I wish you peace + increased self-love!

I am too! I went back and forth with my exabuser on and off for about 8 years! My mom trusted him more than her own daughter to get money from him! Cutting ties with someone that hurt you for years is complicated.
All the stress from the abuse literally made my brain swell. I was put into a coma and on life support to treat the swelling which worked. I woke up n the 1st one I asked for was him n then I apologized to him....not once feeling bad for myself til my adult daughter showed me pix of myself on life support and then one with him next to me on life support. That pic shook me. It did it.....this is the start of my therapy. Simply sharing ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Poor sweet lady :(. They ALWAYS threaten to hurt your family! My abusive ex did it too to get me to stay. It's so disgusting and stupid.
My abusive ex did the same..Everytime I tried to leave he'd threatened to cause harm to my family..Smh

Very beautiful and brave woman, good for her for getting out. There were a million red flags from the very beginning but due to previous trauma it’s hard for many women to see them initially.

Part of that was unlearning what love isn't, learning what it is nd accepting the fact that many in my family just didn't love me. Women gaslight themselves. I certainly did. My situation wasn’t as abusive but there was financial abuse and a lot yelling. As soon as the red flags show get out. It will save you so much pain and years of your life.

I’m so glad you’re free now. As someone who is a relative of someone who is in a terrible relationship, it’s very hard to watch them be abused and tormented and feel powerless. You can give them money to leave, a place to stay if they need to escape, try to convince them to believe they’re worth more than this and then watch them go back time and time again. It’s so hard.

So glad you made it out, and so so so glad your mom got to see that you were safe😊. You’re so worthy of love just the way you are. Social media images are just what they are, images. Most of it is not real, or there’s more to what you see. Nevertheless life is never perfect, even for celebrities and millionaires. You always have to maintain perspective and I think some of us lose that when we’re on our social media accounts. Once again, so glad your story has a happy ending.

💜 Thank you for sharing your story! I was also physically assaulted by my ex, and I was mostly s3xually abused by my father and then other men. I would have to disagree that physical abuse is the worst form of abuse. I consider CSA, (Childhood S3xual Assault), especially by a family member, to be one of the worst forms of abuse. But I also survived (CST) (Childhood S3x Tr@fficking.) Survivors of this form of extreme @buse develop (DID) (Dissociative Identity Disorder), which of course I have, in order to survive. Beautiful beautiful girl I’m so glad you got out. I lt doesn’t happen daily but my husband of 20 years has caused significant damage to my body and self esteem. He took away all of my family and friends.. I can’t see them unless he is out of town. The worst was a year ago, he threw a wooden box ornament at me and I stood my ground. That made him more upset so he went after me with a square based lamp. It took me down I had a hole in my cheek all the way through. He went to grab the bedside table and stopped when he saw the blood. I’ve tried leaving a few times but it never works out I hate being a burden. To this day he blames me because I should have ducked or moved when he went after me with the lamp. I’m so proud of you

Her story is sad but being fully transparent, the highly filtered photos being interspersed throughout is distracting. There’s a stark difference in how she looks in those edited photos and in this video, it’s not just the makeup. Everyone is talking about her lips but the complexion, nose, even her jawline in those photos appear to belong to a different person. It’s disingenuous to pretend it’s not noticeable. Yes, some comments are rude but there’s no need to pretend like we can’t all see the same thing.
This channel should consider re-uploading this story without the current cover image and filtered images.
