I lived with an abusive husband for 7 years. He tried to kill me multiple times. He used to choke me, bang my head against the floor, strip off my clothes by force, push me down on the floor to lay on my stomach and was sitting on me as another way to suffocate me. He would call his family and mine to make himself appear innocent and complain by shifting the story around. He was not only violently physically abusive but emotional and mentally too. I was able to get him to vacate my house by filing a restraining order. Now after 3 years he is begging to comeback but I refuse to take him back.

Good job! I was involved with a female 'friend' abusing her husband.
I blocked her out of my life, and she slandered my name, but I played the long game and posted all my proof on social media.
Shockingly, most stood by her, both men and women, due to cognitive dissonence and being cowards.
This guy is no coward ❤

I was in a very abusive relationship for 15 years and I always feared what would happen if I left. I finally made up my mind to leave and never look back. I had left 2 times previously and got dragged back. That final time I did it strategically and had a home ready for me in what i thought was hidden. I lost almost all my possessions and barely escaped with my life and freedom but I never looked back. That was in 2016 and I was stalked until 2020 from what I know. I still do not know if my ex knows where i currently live but I try not to think about it and live in peace. I have 2 huge dogs and refuse to be a victim ever again. I have met a very lovely man who is so much like me its scary but I am determined to not let my past determine my future. Mind you this man has tried to get my attention for 2 years and tried to prove he is different and solid. I trust in God and believe he will never again let me get myself into anything he can't get me out of.

Poor men who are abused and not taken seriously. I've seen men physically beaten and would never lay a hand on the woman. I use to tell my brother to call me because the laws do nothing about it. im saved now so I know to call cops and let the Lord lead me.

I'm so glad you're a willing vessel to put a stop to this bad theology. No way a loving father would want his children to stay in abuse. Thank you for sharing and all that you do for these survivors ❤

Thank you so much for all your information. I am a survivor of abuse. My ex-husband never ever hit. But she intimidated me what's playing at church securities. After all the stuff I want to do when he started with the verbal abuse I call the police and got a restraining order against him. 20 years
Was cheating on me on a regular basis. Would not give me any cash money.

I love this. I aways say men need to know when they are being abused and talk about surviving relationships abuse because it happens to them and it’s not funny.
