This DeWalt DCH273P2 cordless SDS Plus drill is capable of drilling through masonry, wood and steel. Its rotary stop function makes it ideal for light chiselling into masonry and concrete too. The drill's cordless design and vibration control of 6.6m/s² make it comfortable to use, while the 18V Li-ion battery improves overall performance and maximises run time. Just ordered one of these today ,and like the chisel function too it has .I love the Dewalt kit .The cordless 18v nailer I acquired a few years back has been unbeatable on fencing jobs (You know what the Paslode was like in the cold ,and saved me a few quid not buying gas )Those days are long gone Ha Ha , it's some bloody good kit .You still have to look after your tools though and that means not laying them down on dirty ground too often.

Hello, have you already dealt with the dch 172 model because I'm just wondering if 172 or 273.
i just bought mine and the problem i have with small bits (4 and 5 mm) the bit seems to have woubble . is it normal ? larger bits seems normal
Definitely going to invest in this. I’m using a standard dewalt drill but I come across all sorts of walls with hanging fire extinguishers daily. Some walls the standard drill struggles to drill through. Looks like a sound investment. Does it come with that bigger sized battery to the standard dewalt battery’s? Or is that extra?
How long does the core bit take? The video cuts out the full drilling time.
Will be dependent on material, not very long in my case

Not a great deal unfortunately, I do believe you can purchase 3rd party attachments though.

It attaches to the DCH293B and runs off of the battery on the drill
Is it strong enough to core boiler flues
I would say it’s possible depending on the material you’re coring, single brick (new builds) would do it but I wouldn’t use it unless I had to. You’re better off investing in a bigger drill 👍🏻
So is it 18 volt or 20 volt? Can you use 20 volt battery
18v is the equivalent of the American 20v in relative terms.
18v 😅 had me worried lol its the British version, pretty much the same as 20v 60v felxvolt.
