The only shoes anyone should go up on a metal roof are TENNIS SHOES. Any other type of shoe's will cause you slippage and ALSO possibly scratch your roof's PAINT finish. Your roof has a very steep pitch and I was so glad to see you tied off at least. I use to manage a metal roofing company for over seven years and also handled the safety program. Glad to see you got the ridge cap on before the snow for sure. Your angels worked overtime on this roof for sure.

Egg crate foam tied to the shoe works excellently on metal roofing. I tried it and couldn’t believe how well it worked. It’s a game changer
