Hi!👋 Can you do a Ways to style a shorts and a shirt?? Thank you..
Where dis you get the black turtle neck
With the tights does that mean you put the tights in the freezer everytime you wash them too?
the tights part was erotic af
I love how she didn’t talk for 5 years before getting into the hacks like some people
🤗❤️
I totally agree. I also really like her videos because she give simple advise that can make a big difference.
P
Yeah, I slso "love" how some people tell an entire novel until they get to the point! You can do shopping, walk the dog, cook your dinner and take a bath, while they are doing their intro.
I always use my ripped, broken tights, that I can't wear with dresses and skirts anymore, to layer underneath my trousers in winter. It's perfect to still get a use out of them and they work just as well as new ones!
That's a great idea!
that's very honest;honestly, i do
too, old leggings
Best winter hack I know is wearing skin color thermic leggings/tights under your see through black tights (which are cold)!! No one knows and you're extra cozy!!
I have yet to find any skin colour thermal tights/leggings in stores 😅 where did you get it from?
@@Starrymite I get mine in a store called Bernardete.
But I'm from Portugal, I don't know if they have stores in other countries...I'm sure you can find them in classic lingerie stores, tho! 😊
Hey search for it on Amazon, like fleece tights nude, you'll get it in every colour.
@@Starrymite Uniqlo (the brand she mentioned) has skin color heat tech tights
racheloei I can never seem to find them when I go
When you're from Balkan, and tights under your jeans is a must while growing up, from October to April haha. And potkosulja also 😂😂😂
Potkosulja (undershirt) is life, I don't wear it only when it's 30°plus, otherwise I have it on at ALL times, my non-balkan friends think I'm crazy but joke's on them, they are always ill and I'm not!
Hulahopke & potkošulja !! And Stay away from promaha and going out with wet hair like they do in Scandinavia !!
normalno... :)
promaja i propuh najveci neprijatelji 😂 also potkosulja rules
baš gledam i čudim se kako ljudi ne znaju za potkušulju i štrample cijeli život
So happy you do “real deal” winter tips because you’re in Toronto. 👍👍 Other fashion peeps make “look cute in winter” videos that just don’t cut it for my Chicago reality. ☺️💋
Yes, finally! For someone living in Sweden it's a laugh watching all "Winter" dressing videos 😅
Most important hack that changed my life : know when to wear natural fibers or synthetic fibers. Natural fibers keep you very very warm BUT let the moisture evaporate contrary to synthetic fibers. It means that if you know that you will have a little work out and get warm (running to not miss your crowded bus to work for example) dont wear synthetic fibers that will trap your sweat against you skin. The moisture will cool down quicker that your skin and make you feel cold even if you have five layers on. Synthetic are okay on body parts that dont sweat much like ĺegs and belly for example Also, make sur your tights have a little cotton piece at the crotch to avoid yeast infections.
“To survive winter” as I continue to watch, even though I live in a country that contains two weather which is hot or damp.
Another hack that I've been using for the longest time is to layer 2 pairs of tights! A nude, thicker one first and then a cute sheer pair on top!
why have i never thought of this?! so many times I've either had to "sacrifice' the look with adding an opaque black tight or chose fashion over comfort and wore the sheer tights despite the frigid temps LOL
OMG You've just changed my life.
I do that too (or kind of, in reverse). To walk outside, it's opaque tights plus sweater tights in winter boots. Nice and warm to be outside, too much with indoor heat at the office all day. I take off my sweater tights the same way my scarf comes off and I slip into heels I keep in my office.
I do this too! First I put some regular tights (20-30 denier) and then thicker and warmer tights or leggings and then my trousers. Layering is extremely important when you are living in cold climate.
People always laugh at me when I wear leggings and socks underneath my pants but hey at least I’m not freezing!😆🤪
Exactly
This is my first time seeing any of your videos and it’s so refreshing that you got right to the point and didn’t drag along. Also, she seems so nice in person, those little clips of her being goofy genuinely made me feel like we can be friends. Thanks for being a down to earth RUclipsr!
Two pairs of socks is also a great idea! Usually I do a thinner pair underneath, then a thicker pair over. Also hats and scarves are obvious, but really nice way to stay warm and look cool. :) love these tips!
Advice I got from a random shop lady when I moved from a tropical country to a 4 seasons FREEZING COLD PORT CITY:
What ever outfit you wear, be sure to keep your head, neck, hands, and feet warm. If they're warm, the rest of you will be too.
Awesome video Valeria! You always have awesome content! Lot's of love 😘
Thanks for sharing! ❤️
This is great advice. I surely feel the difference if I don't wear a scarf and beanie. But also wearing tights/leggings under jeans somehow helps to feel less cold at the top too.
not sure if this is already widely known, but investing in a fabric shaver to remove lint/pilling on sweaters/wool clothes
Finally!!!! A realistic and useful video about winter fashion. Thank you for always being real and for the amazing content you’re creating! ♥️
😊🙏🏻😘
when it's really cold i wear two scarves to layer! usually the one on the bottom layer is thin, like the type you'd wear in spring or fall, then the top layer is warmer or a knit scarf. that way you get extra warmth and your scarf is propped up closer to your face to hide in there. :P
When I want to wear a dress with tights and keep extra warm, I wear a pair of black leggings underneath the tights! So then I have the thicker layers but still get the nice texture of black tights!
I just moved to Canada. Yes, all of these hacks are 100% necessary. A legitimate, real temperature this week was -30 F. I'm just not going outside, but if I have to this weekend I'll be using all of these.
Adding to the thin vest under outer coat.... I use a fair fur vest for the more colder and it amps up your look, great tips Valeria!!
If you want to be stylish and warm in the winter, watch this! To expend on socks and boots, think about it when buying boots. I have one or two pairs of winter boots that are purposefully half a size too large (US size, European size I go up one size) and that I wear with thick socks on the coldest days. Heaven!
The two coats idea is so nice!! I was freezing yesterday with my little cute coat 😂 ah.. Canada! Love you from montreal 😘

Girl, love that your cute silly and highly sensible all at once! Much love 😘
You always come in when I need it the most! I will be going to Sweden in a couple of weeks and this hacks will save my Mediterranean ass. Love from Barcelona ❤️
Have the best time
Hope you have a great time in Sweden haha If you're coming to Stockholm you're pretty lucky, it's only around 3°C right now
Same. I’m going to Austria tomorrow, i hope this works 😎
I have discovered the 'two layers of outerwear' this year as heavily pregnant and none of my coats could be buttoned up/zipped anymore 😂 so I put on a long sleeve top, a thin puffer jacket on top and then my oversized wool coat with a scarf - it works wonders and I love the look, will definitely continue wearing this combo after the bump is gone as I like how you can see the two different layers!
🙌🏼
Thanks for the belt hack - the relationship between me and my bathrobe improved right away \o/
(I wear my bathrobe at home the whole winter - it crowns every outfit ;D)
LOL
Thank you for this winter clothing suggestion, dear Valeria. I dress the same way under pants, footwear, sweaters. Layering in winter is important.
Valeria I would love a “ how to start a youtube channel“ with advice and tips! I wanna start one but being consistent seems extremely exhausting! Love you
❤️
She already has a video on that! 💕💕💕💕💕
It's not exhausting, but it's hard work. When RUclips is your job though, creating content constantly is simply normal routine. Valeria creates I think 3 videos per week and runs a very active Instagram profile so she's definitely a true hard worker, but remember that she has a whole team of people who take her pictures, videos, help her vlogging and especially they often edit videos and pictures for her. You can see some of them her vlogs sometimes, which is something I love.
These are all wonderful! And I’ve NEVER heard of freezing your tights and mine run CONSTANTLY because I’m so tall the fibers are so stretched. Thank you!
You are so so genuine valeria...i mean people here can relate to you mostlyin every sense..be it being a mother..or a working lady..or a fashionista..great😍
❤️😘
Omg yes I was waiting for this love you Valeria
I loved this video! Please do more :D Another great hack with static hair, if you're out with your friends and need an "in the moment solution", is to use hand cream. Put a tube in your purse as it is always good to moisturize. Directly when you have moisturized your hands, pull your fingers through your hair. Where you need to remove the static. Always works for me, learned it in beauty school. P.S a little goes a long way.
Thank you for keeping this video so tightly edited! So cute and informative without wasting time💕
A thin "pah-ffer"😂😂😂
FYI: There is no uh sound in Russian pronunciation.
Haha
UNIQLO’s heattech does a great job in winter!!😍⛄️
I used to wear two gloves layered, underneat a fingerless pair of gloves or mittens and a regular pair over them, that way during the freezing winter or Montreal I could take off my gloves to use my phone, pay for things, use the recharging maching at metro stations, etc without freezing my hands in the process. I know there are some glove/mitten merge thing where there is like a cap that you can take off but wearing doble gloves also gives extra warmt
I would add, buy a cool parka with faux fur on the inside! Very warm, has a hood for the freezing wind, good for everyday and doesn’t make you look too bulky. I have two and absolutely love wearing them every time I go out and need a little more warmth ❤️
Can you do a video specifically for tights? :D please. ie what materials keep you warm, how to take care of it/manage it, and/or styling it?
If I could rob your closet I wouldn't think twice. You are a fashion goddess! 👸👸
I’ll let you borrow 😂
@@ValeriaLipovetsky Awwie! 🙈😂
Great hacks ! I love how these are actual cold weather hacks... Living in Canada I always roll my eyes at these "winter" hacks where the person suggests a sleeveless blazer or something for "layering" 🤦🏼♀️
Absolutely obsessed with my Uniqlo Heattec turtlenecks... basically all I wear all winter long (Canadian here!).
What size would one get?
I buy my boots a bit big so I can layer socks and tights or wear thick socks. I also get my pants and a bit large for layering. Slips and slip pants are a great way to add warm and stop clinging. I find that my pits get hotter than my arms so I will wear a short sleeve shirt with leg warmers on my arms under another layer. Also old socks can be used for this by simply cutting off the foot portion. Throwing your clothes in the dryer makes me feel really nice too.
You look amazing in this turtleneck !! So elegant. Tight high collar. Perfection
The layering tips is everything ♥️ learned from the best 😘
aww thanks
For a mexican girl living in France finding this video is pure gold, THANK YOU!
I get easily cold even though I'm from Greece 😂 Love your hacks. Knitted Headbands is a really stylish and warm solution for my ears 😉
We can wear underneath skin tights on top and Net tights over them...to pair with a skirt ...to keep oneself warm as well as stylish ❤️❤️❤️☀️☀️
I have done 3rd one "add warmth " it really works good for me ..i like doing that ...thanks valeria ♥
Valeria I would love a video about "How to dress as a petite girl" with fashion advices etc... Because I love your style but.... I'M SO SMALL !!! (5 feet 1) Love you 🤭
Check out the channel "Dearly Bethany"! She has beautiful style too and is a petite woman so a lot of her videos cater to that 😊
Steph Katrina was about to write the same comment
I was gonna advise the same!
You can/should wear whatever you want, but here are some tips if you want mine: High waist, fold the edge of pants, try to find pants that are a bit short at the legs so they will make you look taller? If that’s what you want. Ankle boots with a tiny heel are cute but not scary. Jackets with belts around the waist!
I find beanies makes me look younger so i prefer headbands, but a beanie could make you look taller.
I also try to avoid bright colors because i’m insecure about people thinking i’m younger than I am. V necks!
Your channel is such a blessing this winter in particular 💚
Turtleneck with a trench coat and flowy pants underneath is always the way to go.
most useful video i've seen this season ❤❤
🙌🏼
We don't have winter but here I am watching this video because I listen to everything Valeria says 🤣🤣
Thank you so much for this!! I’m moving from the tropics to Pacific Northwest this summer!
Double-looping the coat belt is genius! Thanks!

Valeria you are such a champ,I personality love watching your videos. Could you please make a video on 'how to start a youtube channel'
Please also include a situation when your parents are not in support, how to convence them.
Love from India❤
I always do the funky socks one especially with my trousers and jeans and a sneaker but people always look at me all funny 😂
I also do that! Specially in winter. It always cheers me up in the morning when the rest of the outfit is kinda dull!
Everything looks so good on you!
The coat hack with the belt 🙌🏻
never loose a belt again LOL
Valeria Lipovetsky LoL thank you 🤗
Thank you for giving practical tips!!
I used the freezing tip it was kind of weird but it really worked ♥️
I have thinner black puffer jacket and it fits great under my dark red wool coat. It does have a hood, but it's easily hidden under big comfy scarf😉
Okay, so far I'm totally in love with all your videos for fashion hacks :*
Fleece-lined tights! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The belt double loop though... I'd never thought about it! Even though I live in a tropical country where it's mostly hot all year, I can always use the information for future travels! x
I live in Egypt so it’s not as cold as other places but this is actually really useful. Thank you i never know how to layer and this is the coldest winter we ever had.❤️
Happy you liked it.
Thank you Valeria for this.
Love you
Love these tips! Especially interesting the freezing of tights!!!!
I love your fashion hacks videos! There’s always things that I hadn’t heard of before! ❤️
Сразу видно, девчонка из СНГ: только наши с детства приучены носить колготки под штаны и укреплять их в морозильнике👍
Queen of fashion🙌
Just stumbled upon this video and realized I've been doing all these hacks for years 😅😅😅😅😅 I even managed to wear oversized jeans jacket with lots of shirt-vest-turtlneck-another vest and bra layers underneath and thick tights and socks 😅😅😅😅😅 Hard-core styling (winter version)🙃😌
I'm from Ecuador and just moved to Russia. THANK YOU
Hack no.10 with the belt , i knew this way many years before, my momma told me when i was struggling with the belts on my coats or
jackets, yeah life saving :D
What a good timing! I’m traveling to the north of Europe next week.
Thank you Valeria!
Safe travels!
Watched the whole video and discovered that I'm already following all of that havks except Static and Belts cuz I don't have Static and Belts lol but thanks for the video anyway, am glad not to be the only one 😂
Brilliant tips , thanks😊 .
So Much love really appreciated this video ♥️♥️♥️
The 8th trick just blew my mind 🤯
YES. This is incredibly useful!
♥️ queen Valeria. Thanks as always. love from Europe
OMG I love your personality
Always fun to watch you! 🤗
Shoe hack: If you have boots with small heels , you can remove the insole and buy thermal one from lambskin, wool or specially design thermal sole. I use from ecco but I think many other brands have it.
Socks hack: wool, silks socks are better in the winter. I will try to avoid the cotton ones, I need my blood circulation going otherwise I will freeze.
Love your content and the timing. Perfection!!! 💕
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The freezing thing sounds interesting, what other fabrics/materials can it be done for?
It's summer all year in Puerto Rico but I still clicked cuz it's Valeria💓
I don’t know how I didn’t find your channel earlier, but I already love it and subbing. Love your personality and tips❤️❤️❤️
💕💕💕💕I Love Valeria
yeayyy new fashion hack video! 😍 eventhough in my country got no winter season but im here because of Valeria 🥰💖
I live in Valencia in the East of Spain and here we have an amazing weather, which winters aren’t specially colds. Anyways, I really love layering my clothes, cause I think it looks better that wearing a super warm coat or jacket.
Love your videos!! Kisses 🌸🥰
🙏🏻♥️😘
I love the way you move ^^ you’re so funny 🥰
Hi Valeria! You should try Merino wool from icebreaker I love their basics for layering
Will check it out, thanks.
We don't have that kind of winter in Africa😢 love winter ❤
😂SA
Depends where lol in North Africa we have a quite cold winter
I have NEVER been this early. I have an exam tomorrow 🤦🏽♀️.
Goodluck
Thanks for this tips, im going to travel to a country that's on winter season so this will be very useful for me.
The shoes should cover the ankles, otherwise you’re frozen
I hate the ankle showing trend that's Bern going on. Last year teens were walking around with bare ankles in over 20- C° How?! And WHY?
