she literally got a 45 damage buff this season. The game patch notes say 10, but if you hack it's 20 and on top of that half the supports in the game also lost 25hp. she didn't need any damage buffs

I feel like she needed a faster lock-on for her pulsar torpedoes instead of the lower cd and more dmg.
I agree that she needs a faster lock-on. It doesn't even have to be faster for the enemy. I am okay with faster lock-on for teammates. The torpedoes are already pretty slow, and the lock-on delay makes them even slower. I usually try to use the ability to heal teammates at half health, because any lower and they would die before I even get a lock-on. Even then, they sometimes still die anyway.
One more buff I would really love is that the lock-on stick around a little longer when teammates are out of line of sight, kinda like Mercy's beam. I sometimes get frustrated when I finally get a lock-on on my teammates and they immediately go out of sight.
The lock on speed depends on the range of the target so if you find it slow it just meant you're too far away from your team/enemy. I don't really see the lock on speed a problem at all tbf, the ability itself is kinda op
I completely agree, i think it would be totally fine if they reverted the damage and healing (or even lowered) in exchange for a faster lock-in and maybe a cooldown reduction, the torpedoes don't feel like an ability with that much of a cooldown

The new moblitiy buff looks like fun, though I still wish they increased the fire rate instead of amping the damage cause beta Juno looked so much more fluid with the previous fire rate.

The numbers are weird to me, 8 damage on a 12 bullet burst is 96 damage. Her harsh drop off makes her medium poke “meh” and her long range tickle… but she could potentially 2 burst someone at shotgun range if she’s amped or if she enters a duel with her torpedoes. It’s scary cuz it’s a commitment as a support with no self heal
This is why I feel like they should not buff her damage anymore. Then it’s gonna turn into a torpedo one clip one shot combo. I personally think if they lower her drop off a little bit and the time it takes her to lock on torpedos a little bit and she would be perfect. Also sometimes I wish her ult didn’t move and it just stayed where I put it. It would be perfect for denying area. I just really don’t want her overtuned. I’ve been maining her and I love her playstyle but if they just turn her into a cheap one shot character in gonna cry.

I love playing Juno, but in any match I win with her, I feel like I could've won on any other support (usually I play Kiriko). And in the matches I'm being flanked by an annoying Sombra or Tracer, the lack of self heal reeaaaally makes me not want to touch her. Maybe I just need to get better with her though.
Nah same for me, especially Sombra. I'm a diamond support that usually don't struggle too much against flankers as I play a lot of Kiriko / Baptiste, but god since I play Juno 24/24 I feel like I'm SO weak to them
Both are true, juno is now one of the hardest to play supports but she also is not rewarded nearly enough for that skill when compared to kiri bap and all them, this is why power needs to scale with skill otherwise you have heros that only get played because people like the hero but its not fair that they're punished for liking certain playstyles.
Bap and kiri just completely outclasses juno in every way while being easier to play

my problem is her torpedoes are just useless..you usually hit 1-2 people even if you lock into more than that.

because everyone moves around so much that the torpedoes usually hit walls or pillars. Which is fine, nice that there is counterplay. but it makes her feel so...bad? and the whole time she's locking on she isn't DOING anything. so it just feels awkward...her movement is nice. But besides that she really isnt..doin much

Even though everyone says shes weak, I do actually think she is kind of insane in a high tempo comp. She struggles a bit when she's getting pushed, but if you make a lot of space for juno with heroes like genji or winston then her torpedoes will absolutely wreck in a messy rush/dive situation
She doesn't need base damage buffs or cooldowns. She needs critical hit. And if they want to give her a unique ability, give her critical healing where she can do headshots on teammates. This can also be a mechanic that can be added on other Heroes if they just need a small boost without making their abilities go crazy with cooldown reduction and whatnot. Ana could of gotten it too when she felt super weak and it would of only boosted her healing output and changed nothing about her kit strength.
Idk why this idea has not been tested and implemented. And obviously Critical hit healing would not be a 2x multiplier lmao it could be like 1.25 to 1.5 So your accuracy is still rewarded for healing teammates.
@@ImEcchi I’ve also been saying this for a while. Why only reward headshots damage? Headshot healing should also be a way to express skill.
She does NOT need critical hit, nor should any hitscan support hero ever. Bonus healing on headshot would be stupidly hard to balance. Imagine a 140 ana heal or a juno immediately bringing a squishy to full health in one burst. It’d power creep the supports that don’t get this bonus healing multiplier.

it actually got slightly buffed too which was apparently a bug not a buff. Now you support know how dps feel now that you've got a hit scan. Hitscans doing 3.3x less damage at max range is actually crazy and should be changed.
@@Frozokenno it should not. Heroes have range limits for a reason, imagine if soldier has ashe’s falloff range or cass had widow falloff range. buffing their damage at longer ranges would be a nightmare to play against

Cass hitting headshot after headshot at range is extremely hard so doing so should not lose that much damage of his range should be buffed seeing regardless he's losing to dive badly rn. If he lacks the mobility to dive in close, 30m shouldn't be giving him 3x lower dps be fr

Only change I'd make to Juno is reduce the Lock-On time of her Healing Pods/Missiles.
As for console, Juno's been more of an annoyance like Mercy where not dealing with her could lead to extended and/or lost team fights. I've seen a lot of Mercy/Juno duos which is painful for me who can't aim, and I haven't been very impressed with the lack of healing numbers from the majority of them either.
As you said it's a console problem, Juno's movement is predictable unlike mercy, you get punished really hard by hitscans for flying more than a second, really hard.
Theres an easy solution here, learn to aim 😂
I'm on console too and I do not have this issue at all, if anything the biggest issue us console players face that pc doesnt is sombra, she farms console lobbies, and if you're a dps just go sombra as you insta win against any movement hero on console with her lol
@@TigerBlood-m4b Sombra is a real problem on pc atm, just like console. Maybe not as much I don’t know for sure but her TTK is way too low on those 225hp targets
Juno falls over super quick gotta work on your tracking or play ashe.
It's not an aim problem, I can get bodied for playing out of position on console fast. It's cause metal rank console players don't like looking up, so free value.

I think Lucio still holds that title hands down. And if Mercy has team mates nearby she's a contender too.
Juno felt weak mainly because the ppl were learning it in rank. I lost most of my placements with her in my games, especially in combo with a lucio. Her damage in combo with the reduction in heals mad her feel not very impactful. I think Sombra is still too strong personally as well.

Juno lucio is actually one of my favorite combos cause I dont have to babysit the other support(lucio) I can focus on the team and automatically get heals from Lucios aura.
@@ihopeyouandicanbefriends this. There’s always that one character that’s clearly overpowered but nobody is allowed to say it or they get accused of being bad. Everything is a “skill issue” even if it’s an invisible character that can remove your abilities, throw a bomb at you that leaves you at half health and if you still manage to win this she can fk off into her supports and get tons of value without even getting kills. She was strong before just still had weaknesses but of course ow players always gotta call everything that isn’t broken “useless” so here we are.

I have been dodging shatters and right clicking to heal the entire team with pulsar. It is a really nice counter to the shatter damage (not the cc).

God I wish this balancing team could just admit they made a bad choice and go back to what they did instead of making a different change for the sake of making a change. She healed a lot because of the team wide heals on her secondary fire; not because it was actually useful continuous heals, most of the time it was nothing healing/damage. Lowering her fire rate make unnecessary changes and fucked up her flow, more damage wasn’t what she needed. All she needed was some QOL changes and maybe the 225 hp; that’s it.
I don’t get how blizzard doesn’t understand that some people saying she’s OP and others saying she’s bad is a GOOD THING, it means the character is dependant on skill level, and has a varying level of effectiveness based on the creativity and skill of the player; she had a niche and she filled it well, but now she just has to be like every other hero after they make stupid changes post-playtest; either OP and hated, or useless and ignored.
imagine as a passive every target hit with the missiles you get a percentage of self heal like a lil bit
i dont think the damage potential nor the healing is the problem but more the way her weapon works, the 12 round burst means she has high dmg and healing potential if you hit your shots which is difficult when youre flying around at such speed. I think her gun should be a 6-8 round burst just with higher dmg and healing, this would hopefully negate a lot of the inconsistency with her weapon and maybe you wont feel like youre just "tickling" the enemies.
They need to add a 25+ HP heal on her speed ring so she can somewhat peel for herself. she’s way too squishy against dive characters. Nothing too crazy but atleast a small amount of sustainability like ana nade.
Her sustain is her mobility, you have to use it smartly or else you get screwed; it’s a skill check and is what separates the bad Juno’s from the good ones. A great Juno with amazing mobility will have the movement to escape a dive nearly every time if their cooldown usage is correct.

Honestly, we need it. She's far too weak and the idea that her high mobility makes up for it no... even then lucio can spam heals and speed giving both so!
Imagine any time the hyper ring applies speed boost, it either bursts heals 25 health or adds 25 over sheild that last for as long as you have the speed boost from the ring. This allows 1 v 1s because you are able to reapply boost and heals every few seconds

So Juno has three escapes like Kiriko, but Kiriko actually does damage, has better healing than Juno and has a much better ultimate. Also Juno should be using hyper ring to help her team, not to escape.
I get the impression they thought the hyper ring would be more impactful like a Lucio speed boost and didn't want to make her overpowered, but it's not as good.
I think the community wants headshots for this hero. I'd also like to see just a bit more range as well. You could reduce rate of pellet speed so it's more like Kiriko's projectile and less like a hitscan, but give her a little more chance to fight back and impact fights.

Reduce the lock on time and… could be busted, but make her heal 30hp to any teamates INCLUDING her that pass through the ring. Very small healing but could give her just enough health to escape some situations. But I mean pass THRU the ring so deploying does not count. You have to go in the big ring
I have to give more effort in her heals as compared to kiriko or baptiste who can do more and less effort plus these two give more healing even if u fk up a bit.

I feel like the damage is still too low. It's very very hard to hit your shots and it only tickles the enemy. Juno has low HP combined with tickle guns, resulting in dying everytime you get dived. I don't want to have to run away the whole game. I want to punish the enemy dps when they are alone in a 1v1 against me
there is no hero in the game with less play making potential than Juno

I just want to play with people who aren’t using their face as a shield the whole game.
They should buff her rate of shots a little bit because when people are strafing you tend to miss as Juno. So it feels like you’re tickling them because you’re not hitting all of your shots. They should buff it because most players are going to miss some shots and not getting the full value of hitting all of her shots

She was tuned fine but they had to go and tweak some numbers stupidly and because they are so self important and refuse that they can make mistakes, they don’t go back on what they did and instead make a different change which just makes the character OP or shit without improving the enjoyment of the character.
The damage buff was dumb, and the fire rate nerf was dumb; I pray that they hire some balancing people who ARENT in silver, because 90% of team 4 is.

@@zoovaado7759 Busted how? Being able to only do damage and heal? The best thing Illari had going for her is controlling the annoyance that is Pharah. Considering her accuracy is typically below 70%, the lack of damage on a DMR is going to sting.

Pylon can be placed in positions that are completely unfair and it lasts forever and her ult charges insanely fast and is pretty much a guaranteed 1 kill at least. I know the nerfs suck illari is my main support she’s super fun but she’s incredibly broken, she doesn’t need to bring anything other than damage and heals because she just kills everything while keeping her team topped for free lmao

@@junomain You mean, if your team is already winning she's just fine. She doesn't "carry" because she doesn't bring a single thing that is better (or even different) than what another support brings. Even her ult is just a worse version of Mercy's ult, which travels with the team better.

Honestly I think her hyper ring feels lacking as only a speed boost.Lucio brings speed, and it's faster (while amped) and has no cooldown (while not amped.) The ring needs to bring something additional to not just feel like a more limited version of what Lucio brings (and Lucio also has a boop which is incredibly good and versatile which increases his utility.) Weak damage, ok healing, and a midding version of speed boost does not bring enough to feel viable compared to other supports.

I don’t speak for everyone ofc but I don’t think she needs buffs, whenever I fail with her I feel like I have enough options to survive and kill I just feel like I need to get good if that makes sense.

Well the problem is that the other supports are still how they used to be.
You also forgot that people like to feel impactful with something other than heals. Juno is a healbot who needs the second support to baby her when she gets targeted bc she's too squishy and not mobile enough. They set a standard and they aren't following it.
