There are a couple of things you can do to enhance your life of crime and make things easier. First, when looking at the inventory, click on the little price indicator. It will sort the list by value either from high to low or the other way around, You can also sort by weight. Secondly, use your horse. Buy a high capacity saddle. When looting all these chests, you can send items straight from your inventory to the horse as long as you're on the same general area. ie zone. If you went through a loading screen it wont work. This will increase your carrying capacity greatly. In Ratay, there is the guards armory that is tricky to get to but it has upto 470000 gr. worth of weapons in a very hard chest I opened at lvl 6 with a little moonshine. Load it all up in your chest and wait for the stolen marker to dissipate. When I did it my horse was overloaded, as was I. I staggered up to the Broken Wheel inn and got a room to stash my loot there..
That's what I did before I used this method. The contemplative perk was SUCH a huge game changer for so many different aspects of the game. But if you wait for the loot to be unmarked as stolen you can sell it for original price? I didn't really think about that one, but it would make things a lot easier for sure. Then I guess you could just steal the money when you sell it to the vendor. Interesting stuff, thank you for the insight!!
