I’ve got my EB-2 NIW interview letter last April 16th, PD Nov 23rd,2022 current in last April VB, DQ:Aug 29th, 2023. Buenos Aires embassy scheduled my interview for May 9th, very fast !!!. Thanks for your videos Jacob !!!
USCIS received our case on February 20th. Case approved on April 10th. Sent to NVC April 11th and just got a notification from the NVC today (May 6th) that it is being sent off to her embassy!
Hi Jacob I am in the F1 category. My priority date is October 13 2015. I was documentary qualified in 2021. The sad thing is all my kids have aged out and still waiting on my interview. Hopefully it's this year. Thank you for keeping us update.

Lagos embassy wait times likely reflect staffing or caseload issues. It's understandable why it's frustrating, but unfortunately, USCIS doesn't offer specific reasons for embassy delays.

@Jacob Nairobi is the worst hit with the backlog. Like for spousal visas they are serving the DQ date of Oct 2022. A backlog of 19months before getting your IL 😢
We’ve been waiting for. Interview schedule for almost two years already from Manila Embassy. My son is an F2b and DQ’d July 2022.

First time applied (f4) 2005 , case open in 2018 but postponed because of child protection act according to Islamabad embassy (you are special case your case fresed 10 months only from 2005 to 2006) and we subtract those 10 months from your age still you can't fall because your above 21. He also told me that people's case freezed when they file patition approx 5 year your case is special, then my parents file patition agaiin in f2b 2019 august still waiting for that its 2024 ...

Your current priority date is positive, but yes, F2A interview scheduling for Lagos can be slow.

My son F2B case in Philippines is so frustrating, they've been waiting for years for that interview appointment, the priority date is stagnant, current priority date is oct2011 for how many months,their priority date is DeC 2012.until when they will be waiting,and critically he is going 21 on June,ws it possible that embassy give consideration cause it's not their fault,it's backlog fault. Their Visa is paid already 2years ago

You can write a request from NVC since he will be aging soon. Alam ko me pwede i speed up ang interview if he is already documentary qualified.

with an F2A PD of April 27, 2021, and current backlogs, your interview wait time could be several months to potentially a year or more.
Why the backlogs always increasing?
Backlogs increase due to factors like COVID-19 disruptions, limited processing capacity, and high application volumes.
All increase in fees collected from H1Bnew and renewals, perm & i140 increases are not used in right direction.
F1 category. PD is Oct 2015 and visa bulletin is currently at July 2015. DQ from July 2022 and waiting in Jamaica. How much longer may i have to wait?
It's difficult to predict an exact wait time, but since your priority date is current (October 2015) and you've been DQ'd (July 2022), your interview should be scheduled soon.

Hi Sir, If it’s possible help me please. As my visa got currant , I sent an expedite request for my visa appointment, but NVC answered that they can’t expedite my case because there is no visa available ( my PD is 2020.12.21 visa type F2A ) why did they answered that way if my visa type got currant , I’ve sent them my medical examination and doctor’s note as a proof that I really need my appointment scheduled asap . Please help what can I do , my country is Armenia 🙏🏻

My F2A case has been documentary completed as the NVC on the 11 of November 2022 and we are still waiting for interview till now the problem I'm having is that I have turned 21 years old now and I will be 22 on September 2024 I don't know why Lagos is delaying my visa appointment and if care is not taken one of my siblings will turn 21 next years on January first

Child protection laws vary by location. Search for "child protection act" followed by your area (e.g. state, country) to find details and reporting procedures.

Yes, F11 is the visa category for the unmarried child of a US citizen (previously you were F2B, child of a green card holder).
