Lebron won championships in 3 different organizations. Okay, I’m just throwing that logic back at you. I hate how enamored Lebron is with being the Goat. He’s not the goat. He may be the best player ever, but 4-6 in the finals is enough reason as to why. Unless he wins 3 more without losing, he’ll never be the goat.

Why is this still even up for discussion cuz at this point I’m convinced this convo/debate is only around for ratings and money because no logical person can see lebron on the same level as jordan since 2011
It’s content for fanboys to indulge in because content creators prey on the idol worshipping groupies. 99% or sports fans couldn’t care less about the same repetitive content but the 1% keep feeding the obsessed.
Only a few Lebron fans think he's the Goat- that little group includes some in the media and probably himself. While most people that think that Jordan is the GOAT are not even Jordan or Bulls fans, the bulk of people claiming that he is the GOAT are the fans of the other teams- the ones that were humiliated and defeated year after year and did not win any rings because of Jordan. I'd say simply that they are Basketball fans not necessary a fans of MJ.

I agree, but I do think he choked once, though you could argue it was because he wasn't in basketball shape. That one let down is the only time he was LeBron-esque, ha ha. And that was against Orlando in the '95 playoffs when the Bulls had chances to win but MJ came up short in clutch time. It actually enhances his legacy though in terms of telling a heroic story because unlike LeBron, MJ didn't blame teammates or jump teams (and he didn't say "check my stats" either, lol). He actually took responsibility for the loss and then went on to avenge the defeat in the best way (with a sweep) in route to three more championships in a row.
@@megavolt67 All one needs to do is look at Lebron's fourth quarter Finals averages to see that he is always choked. That's why he needs all time great players with him.
Jordan was 9 times all defensive first at the same time as scoring champ. That really shows how much of a beast he was on both ends. Also steals champ at the same time as scoring champ. Something that never gets mentioned. Jordan is top 5 in both totals and per game averages in both scoring and steals. Some players maybe both for one stat but not 2. Jordan took it to another level in the finals especially the first 3. 91-- average 11.4 assists per game highest for anyone not Magic. 92 - - average an impressive 42% for 3s and in game 1 shot six 3s in a half which was a record for 18 years until Ray Allen the only person to shoot more in a half 93-- average 41 points per game highest ever.
Wow. This is why i say the ONLY player I'm putting over Kobe is MJ. MJ was just an alien. Lebron not top 10 imo. He takes Steroids (listen to Flagrant Podcast with Andrew Shultz - episode with Chael Sonnen, he states ON THE RECORD, that he and Lebron get their steroids from the same chemist and that's how he knows Lebron takes EPO).
He could easily have 8 MVPs.. 87 averaged 37 a game and didn't win MVP haha but 88 is the best individual season without a title.. Allstar MVP, Dunk champ, Scoring title, Steals title, DPOY and MVP getting 35-6-5 a game hahaha ON ANOTHER LEVEL
Defensive Impact is where the real substance of the the "Jordan is the GOAT" argument can be found. Everything else is kinda colored with some kind of *extra* factor. Like "clutch" or "Finals Losses"...all the other arguments have a certain amount of subjective influence going on. But Defense...NOPE It's open and shut. Jordan was twice the Defensive Player Lebron is and Lebron has the length and size to be to be twice the Defensive Player that Jordan was. And for that reason alone: Jordans defensive impact, numbers, and effort in comparison to Lebron's; makes him the better player. The only way to make an argument for Lebron is to make the argument that defense doesn't count when it comes to GOAT... which is ridiculous, like saying Frank Thomas (a non fielder) was the better player than Ken Griffey Jr cuz he had a few better hitting seasons.

If LBJ was so concerned about his legacy, maybe he should have learned how to shoot beyond 3 feet from the basket. And hit his free throws. And develop a post-up/mid-range game. And hit more than 20% of the shots he takes at clutch time (that is, when he actually has the balls to take the last shot because Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving aren't around to bail him out). And not turn the ball over more than any other player in NBA history. And play consistent defense. And not flop so bad that even FIFA is embarrassed when they see him. And not promise 7 rings with the SuperTeam he put together, then go 2 for 4, with the first loss the direct result of his own choke job. You know, do all of the great things without all the crappy things, like MJ did throughout his career. LBJ should have shored up his legacy on the court, NOT in the media. LeBron has diminished his legacy with his braggadocio. He is a fantastic player, but the fact that he has to brag about it rather than let NBA experts put him in the proper slot diminishes it. He needs the support from his fans and they will because they never saw MJ, Bird, Magic, Wilt, Kareem or Russell. Watching reruns of individual games does not cut it. These guys night after night dominated their opponents and it was great watching them.Night after night, season after season, championship after championship these guys were leaders who responded in the clutch more than LeBron. I mean I waited for him to get the ball and take it to the rim for the winner but it seldom happened.
“Well you see I was lucky that Draymond Green got suspended so my opponent collapsed and that Kyrie outperformed Steph, and that right there made me the greatest of all time.” Amazing hubris. I was so happy for Bron in 2020 but these last few years he has grown insufferable.
He wasn't just lucky, he made it happen. He whined about being called a b**** in the post game presser and dared the NBA to do something about it. That's when the NBA retroactively assigned the extra technical and suspended Draymond after the fact (which was ridiculous and unprecedented in a situation of championship magnitude). There's no doubt about it: The NBA was hoping to extend the series. Cleveland was almost certainly going to lose in 5 games after LeBron and Kyrie choked away game 4 in Cleveland. Instead they gained new life and also an inside advantage for the rest of the series after Bogut went down (which probably wouldn't have happened had Draymond played that game). The icing on the cake was that when injured Curry finally got it going in game 6, he was instantly hit with foul trouble. At that point the NBA was going to get their 7 games no matter what. 2016 Warriors vs Cavs to me was on the level of 2002 Lakers vs Kings. The officiating was worse in the latter, but the the series altering interference was the same. And the NBA tried again last season to get LeBron to the finals with some absurd officiating as well (the free throw stats for the Lakers after LeBron complained about the one Boston non-call were outrageous; they shouldn't have even made the playoffs). Thank goodness Denver was a great enough team to stifle that nonsense.

Those who speak the loudest tend to be the most insecure in themselves. There's a difference between speaking something into existence and just claiming to be something, I think Michael knows his game speaks for itself he doesn't need to say anything because everyone already has their opinions and out of respect he's not trying to take away what others have done before him and during his time. This topic never gets old. I will say LeBron and his 2016 chip might be the best single season accomplishment but even that is debatable. What's not debatable is the GOAT conversation. MJ is The Chosen One
There's nothing that special about the 2016 championship. A big-3 superteam beat a great regular season team that had struggled in the playoffs in an evenly muched series. The Mavs championship just 5 years before that was objectively much more difficult and impressive and that's one example among dozens.
That championship run is a bit overrated. Everyone looks at the 2016 team and thinking of the KD warriors. Cleveland should have never been down 3-1 vs Steph and Klay warriors in the first place. Lebron was by far the best player on the court and Klay was not close to Kyrie offensively. This is the same warriors OKC had down 3-1 when KD choked on himself.
@@L0ngstrip Exactly. People bring up the fact that the Cavs came back as if it was preordained from God that they would go down 3-1, not that they were outplayed despite being evenly matched. Lebron is special but his not the goat doesn’t matter how long you been playing. That’s only telling me that you been playing pretty good for a long time but you not winning anything.
LeBron the last year-year and a half: "I'm gonna play with Bronny. Whoever gets Bronny is going to get me. It's the ultimate moment as a father. I've also signed a two year $90+ million dollar extension." LeBron right after the game, not the season, after getting swept: "Screw all that. I'm thinking I might retire." Nobody believed him. It was almost as bad as the cast on his arm after he got swept in 2018. I'm surprised he didn't come out in a walking boot before he said this at the presser. I have too much respect for his intelligence to believe he didn't know what saying that would do. Every agency's top story became about his fake retirement plans.
My favorite MJ vs LeBron stat: (especially for those wanting to bring up "MJ fans don't talk about the times he didn't win the championship" Jordan played 15 seasons and won 6 rings. That means there are 9 seasons that he didn't win. LeBron played 20 seasons and won 4. That means there are 16 that he didn't win a ring. You can now fit Jordan's ENTIRE CAREER in the amount of seasons LeBron didn't win a ring, and still have a year left over to ride the bench.
Actually in a way most do...Historically speaking. How did monarchies begin or persist? Brutality, cunning, cut-throat nature, wealth and influence, bribery of the weak winning them over with offers of protection...I'd imagine monarchy originated with such ingredients and not through genuine love and adoration...more fear.
It doesn't even have to do with Team Sports it's just a matter of character, respect and all in all manners. In the Golf World we all agree that Tiger is the Greatest of all Time, his peak is non recreationable BUT never ever has Tiger Woods felt the need to come out and call himself greater than Arnold Palmer, or Sir Nick Faldo. Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have never compared themselves to Maradonna or Pélé. The only time this comparison has ever been made is with Messi but as the Maradonna of his generation and that was the media not himself. I will never understand why the US sports are so focused about this whole GOAT debate it comes of as really egotistical.
As a football fan (Soccer to you guys) it's rare for this GOAT conversation to be so all-consuming as it seems to be with basketball. Can someone shed a little light on why that is please? Regardless of sport though, it's not for a player to call themselves the GOAT, that's for their peers and the fans.
I follow multiple sports (NBA, MLB, Fútbol and NFL) since I was a kid, this thing started since Lebron got to the league even without winning anything he called himself the King and with Kobe (who was considered the GOAT or 2d best player [debatable] still playing, then when he got his first title and won the gold medal in the redeem team (his momentum in his career was in an all time high), [this is what I think] he and his fans thought he was on track to surpass MJ but San Antonio then Golden State gave him a losing record (Dallas gave him his first loss but then he win two in a row), that losing record to some fans disqualify him even if he eventually ended Cleveland drought and even if he got the bubble chip. But Lebron and his fans dismissed those criticism rebutting that passing Kareem, Lebron longevity playing at a high level and Lebron's stats make him the GOAT. In correlation some fans composed by a new generation have disrespected old generations of basketball players calling them plumbers, trash players and other negative adjetives/names, making it unbearable to debate in forums. Much different when fans (even in disagreement the majority of fans debate with respect) & players from other sports engage in the GOAT debate MLB, Fútbol and NFL tend to be polite (especially ex-players) when talking about past generation of players that play the games and to those who are potencial candidates to be The Greatest Of All Times... and I never hear a player (Willie Mays, Babe Ruth, Hank Aron, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Roberto Clemente, Nolan Ryan, Pelé, Maradona, Ronaldo 'The Phenomenon', Zidan, Messi, John Elway, Jim Brown, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice or Tom Brady) call himself the GOAT. I also think that it's not for a player to call themselves the GOAT, that's for their peers and the fans.
@kingvagar thank you for such a detailed answer. I had no idea it was a hot topic from pretty much the beginning of LeBrons career. I get that people enjoy the debate around GOAT's, but there is no single or even combined criteria that everyone will agree upon, so spewing bile at someone because they think differently isn't going to change anything. All that being said, a player should not be the one declaring themselves the GOAT.
0:41 it’s crazy he called him the greatest player of all time while he didn’t do alone at all , kyrie was literally playing 😂on the same level as him but doesn’t say anything about him at all
Micheal Jordan, like most great athletes, was a physical phenomenon with unbelievable basketball talent. I can say the same for Lebron. The biggest thing that separates them is what's between the ears. Micheal didn't just do this for the rings and the money. The fans meant something to Mike, as they did to most stars back then. Jordan was smart enough not to ever talk politics, religion, social issues, and intimate relationships. It only causes friction and you loose fans that may not watch anymore or become haters. As great a player as Lebron is, he stuck his foot in his mouth with those issues one with his public stature should remain neutral in. Like Golden State not going to The White House after winning the championship. That's just lame and not indicative of what real men do. That's what wussies do. I think as just players lebron has a case for being the goat but when you factor in resume as well as context Jordan’s resume is phenomenal. Along with Kareem. Wilt is there because his numbers are still untouchable but there were a lot of things that were allowed when he played that aren’t allowed now. Same with jordan and lebron.
Yes, but the things that were allowed when the likes of Wilt played were crazy physical defense. They also had actual rules that were actually enforced, like traveling and double-dribble. This is, without question, the softest era EVER in the NBA. Same in the NFL. The league decided that scoring would make them more money so they basically abolished meaningful defense. Add in that Lebron cries every time he is touched and gets the calls, and you can see why his stats are what they are. I'd love to see Lebron face the Bad Boy Pistons...
@@a1kid if other players are shooting free throws for the same contact why would you not want your free throws Also Jordan cried to the league about the bad boy Pistons beating him up and he got his free throws. If Jordan gained 15 pounds muscle and beat the pistons by being stronger realistically what do you think someone 40-50 pounds heavier than him with a great handle in a league where he's allowed to run people over would do? There's multiple clips of players pulling down on lebron's arms and he basically drags them with him to the basket for layups Jordan played in a league where you couldn't zone or use like half the defensive strategies you can now and wilt / Kareem could sit in the paint the entire game if they wanted to. No 3 seconds. There's still context Also when it comes to defense particularly in wilt era the players also had limited offenses in general so defense really wasn't as complex as it is now.

LeBron isn’t even the greatest small forward of all time. Larry Bird eats him for lunch every time. He is more focused on the media an what's on the news instead of himself his team an teammates. Most people can tell that once you start really paying attention.
@@LL-zm9go dude that argument sucks an you know you can do better then that I get he starts slowing down at a certain age I get that but he was showing signs he wasn't hungry for before he turned 38 Lebron when he came in an before he left the Heat had was a 4 time all defender you not going to sit here an tell me an someone who used to pin shots to the backboard every night or run an a player down for a chase down block forgot how to play defense really 🤔🤔. Then again as from as the age think goes again Lebron is 6 9 250 or so pounds you are going to tell me that man can't post an get to the rim or nothing at to get easy points dude stop if we are going the the 6'6 216 pound Jordan was played at 38 39 an 40 for one of the worse teams at the time the Wizards an still scored 30 40 an a few 50 point games sometimes for his team before he retired again now some games he didn't play because like you said age but here is the difference his coach or teammates had to make him sit because he wanted to be back on the court sometimes. Now Lebron's age might be getting to him now same as it does to other players but you still have to remember the man said he was going to retire in when he was on the Cavs do I agree with his comments after he said he would retire nope however do I think if LeBron retired then or said coach I need one season away from the game to do me do I agree with that yes I do. That's a job like every other job you got people you gonna wanna punch out an you got people you get alone with everyone needs a vacation sometimes that's just being real. I think he should have made took vacation instead of getting frustrated he had another great team they just needed to build on it if LeBron needed a break I think he should have taken it an came back fresh instead of trying to push things. These last few years have just been him listening to the media an we all know it he has been point chasing he not caring about getting another ring or winning games easily show that same with him not playing defense much
I don't care about anyone that takes a break on defense to rest for offense!? The best defense turns in the fast break the other way usually the difference in the game. The person who has the most willpower

Michael Jordan never quit on his team or choke in the playoffs. Unlike LeBron, he will quit when things don’t go his way. LeBron is the type of player who he want people to like him. He wants respect, but Michael never had to beg for respect. Michael Jordan has earned his respect from the league. LeBron James hasn’t earn his respect because he will go team to team to chase championships. He’s not a team player as regards of his time in the league. I wasn’t shocked he surpassed Kareem’s career scoring record. LeBron is only cares about himself, so his fan base are absolutely the worst. Michael Jordan doesn’t have a relationship with LeBron James at all. There are a lot of reasons why LeBron James isn’t the greatest of all time.

As someone who was alive when the Bulls drafted Pippen, many Bulls fans did not like it. We viewed him as a "project" who was unknown, and from an unknown small school. Sure enough, when he arrived he was SUPER RAW and needed motivating. It was Jordan who lit a fire under his arse. It took years but eventually he stepped his game up. It was playing and practicing with Jordan that brought Pips game up. Still, if Jordan missed a game, or better yet, when Jordan retired, Pippen fell flat. He did not have anywhere close to the "killer will" of MJ. To put it bluntly, MJ "made him"..... just like he made many of the other players on those Bulls teams. Last point, and I never thought I would have to say this.... but right now, MJ is UNDERrated... yes, underrated. To see him play, to see the way he elevated those teams, to see his unparalleled fire, intensity, athleticism and skill "in person" was truly something to behold. There is NOBODY in the game today that comes close. The closet one was Kobe... and yet Kobe would admit Jordan was better.

Jordan never choked or quit in the finals or playoffs; unlike LeBum James.

Defensive Impact is where the real substance of the the "Jordan is the GOAT" argument can be found.
Everything else is kinda colored with some kind of *extra* factor. Like "clutch" or "Finals Losses"...all the other arguments have a certain amount of subjective influence going on.
But Defense...NOPE
It's open and shut.

He’s been like this since 2011. When he had that Freudian slip about his critics being poor, regular ppl. Lol
And btw, that 73-9 regular season Warriors team had the same playoff record in the western Conference that the Suns had in 2021 and they had made the finals by the skin of their teeth, nothing remarkable about them.
@@KyprosEc It was a little suspect to say the least, and even then, Kyrie was as valuable as Lebron in those finals...it's not like 98 MJ, for example, which was the only player carrying the whole team, with minor contributions from role players.
it's pretty difficult to be the all-time leading scorer and still be a cringe-inducing lolcow, but lebron managed to pull it off. he truly is the king 👑🐮
I've also signed a two year $90+ million dollar extension."
LeBron right after the game, not the season, after getting swept: "Screw all that. I'm thinking I might retire."
Nobody believed him. It was almost as bad as the cast on his arm after he got swept in 2018. I'm surprised he didn't come out in a walking boot before he said this at the presser. I have too much respect for his intelligence to believe he didn't know what saying that would do. Every agency's top story became about his fake retirement plans.
There's a reason when you talk about people who are absolutely dominant experts in their respective fields, they are called "The Michael Jordan of..."
The GOAT of flopping 🙄🤔😑
My favorite MJ vs LeBron stat: (especially for those wanting to bring up "MJ fans don't talk about the times he didn't win the championship" Jordan played 15 seasons and won 6 rings. That means there are 9 seasons that he didn't win. LeBron played 20 seasons and won 4. That means there are 16 that he didn't win a ring. You can now fit Jordan's ENTIRE CAREER in the amount of seasons LeBron didn't win a ring, and still have a year left over to ride the bench.
"Any man who must call himself King, is no true King."- Tywin Lannister
Another thing I never really saw jordan do was after a slam dunk on someone stand over them and peacock.
I watch this live with my homeboy, We turn the TV Off and walked to the store in Silence, We still haven't spoken about it.
You need to do your 10 best players of all time list.
My favorite part of his speech was when he stuttered saying you have to respect him 🤣🤣🤣
A true king doesn't crown himself
Most kings in history crowned themselves. If anyone disagreed with it they were simply killed. Learn your history lmaoooo
Also fuck LeBron.
What do you think a king is? I never heard of a king getting voted to be the king lol.
Correct, so your boy is not a true king, but a true crybaby queen: ruclips.net/video/Hadk0wex89Y/видео.html
LOL
It doesn't even have to do with Team Sports it's just a matter of character, respect and all in all manners.
In the Golf World we all agree that Tiger is the Greatest of all Time, his peak is non recreationable BUT never ever has Tiger Woods felt the need to come out and call himself greater than Arnold Palmer, or Sir Nick Faldo.
Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have never compared themselves to Maradonna or Pélé. The only time this comparison has ever been made is with Messi but as the Maradonna of his generation and that was the media not himself.
I will never understand why the US sports are so focused about this whole GOAT debate it comes of as really egotistical.
great shot calling, uncut hooper!
Why did he look down in the side after that , he said it while hiding this face , like even he knew we was talking crazy 😂
You speaking facts man great video
0:41 it’s crazy he called him the greatest player of all time while he didn’t do alone at all , kyrie was literally playing 😂on the same level as him but doesn’t say anything about him at all
Always great commentary & analysis 👍🏻
"Well, I'll just take my ball and go home!" .... said Stephanie Curry
LeBron has no go-to moves each of his all star teammates over the years had 2-4 goto moves
found the shut up and dribble guy...
Thumbs up if you agree Kobe is greater than Lebron!
If you have to tell everyone you are king then you are not a real king 😂
In the words of Tywin Lannister 😆
1:24 LeBron looks like he's cosplaying as Jubilee.
There is a huge Jordanhater channel on yt , claiming that Jordan is not a top 50 player of all time, and also claiming that Karl Malone is better than Jordan 😆 ridiculous to the max. and he dont criticise Lebron and his fans, no only Jordan and his fans, although Jordan is pretty humble compared to Lebron. 0:11 name of the Haterchannel (michael jordan fans are the worst sports fans). you probably never seen anything ridiculous like that channel, I promise.
LeBron say because of the 52-year drought you weren't even born to know what the 52-year drive was about😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think as just players lebron has a case for being the goat but when you factor in resume as well as context Jordan’s resume is phenomenal.
@@a1kid if other players are shooting free throws for the same contact why would you not want your free throws
Also Jordan cried to the league about the bad boy Pistons beating him up and he got his free throws.
If Jordan gained 15 pounds muscle and beat the pistons by being stronger realistically what do you think someone 40-50 pounds heavier than him with a great handle in a league where he's allowed to run people over would do? There's multiple clips of players pulling down on lebron's arms and he basically drags them with him to the basket for layups
Jordan played in a league where you couldn't zone or use like half the defensive strategies you can now and wilt / Kareem could sit in the paint the entire game if they wanted to. No 3 seconds. There's still context
Also when it comes to defense particularly in wilt era the players also had limited offenses in general so defense really wasn't as complex as it is now.
Most pathetic is him coming out with a cast on his hand to fake an injury after being swept in the finals by GS.
"When you're good at something, you'll tell everyone. When you're great at something, they'll tell you."

Alll your points were valid and to the point . Great job
@Uncut Hoops - I still have to see why you have lebum as your #2 greatest to ever play. I wanna see your take on that. I've followed your channel for years but you never discussed that reason.
His total body of work: all time leading scorer, 27 PPG career average, second most finals MVPs ever, 4 regular MVPs, 38k 10k 10k club, most all NBA all time like and he’s STILL playing elite
I think it’s bc he tries to appease to LBJ fans bc those lames go after you if you don’t have him as your goat or a close second when he’s neither. Klutch media basically brainwashed these young dudes into thinking he’s was the goat or second since 2016.
@@eazyduzit-tr3nxI will admit that MJ was a better baseball player than Bron, just stop crying lmao 😆
I'm glad you are on the correct side of this ridiculous Jordan V LeBron debate which should never have become a debate.
LeBron isn’t even the greatest small forward of all time. Larry Bird eats him for lunch every time. LeBron may be more athletic, but Bird was more skilled at every part of the game; Bird was mentally tougher than LeBron; and Bird elevated teammates in ways LeBron never has. Only 3 people have averaged 28+ while shooting 50/40/90. Steph and Durant have done it once, I think. Bird averaged that over a four year stretch. LeBron has never done it. Bird averaged about the same number of assists as LeBron with a much lower usage rate than LeBron, and Bird was a much better rebounder and more committed defender than LeBron in spite of the apparent difference in “athleticism.” Bird’s status as a teammate is also measured in that he is still friends with his former teammates, and they all gush about playing with him and how important he was. LeBron leaves guys just wanting to get away from him.
Bro I haven’t heard of a serious argument for Larry bird being better than Lebron since 2011.
@@jaydot4956 Bird being better than Lebron is so obvious to many fans that they just don't argue about it. Bird is just as good of a scorer as Lebron. A better passer and rebounder. Lebron may be a more athletic defender but Bird is a better off-ball and team defender. Bird is a much better leader and clutch player.
@@allenpyiLebron is a better scorer, passer, overall defender, higher IQ, more athletic, better finisher, better stats and advanced stats, better career totals, better resume and more accolades, way more longevity, higher peak, better playoff and finals performer. Bird may be more clutch in the last shot but Lebron is more clutch when it comes to overall games (Game 7s and elimination games).
@@allenpyi bro a majority of people don’t even have Larry bird in their top 5 so how is he better than Lebron who is universally recognized as a top 2 player? I never heard about a goat debate between Larry and Jordan. And your just chatting talking about Larry bird was a better passer and defender than Lebron in his prime lol.
@@gggyy7104 LeBron isn't a better scorer than Bird. Their numbers are remarkably close in spite of LeBron playing in a more offensive-friendly era. Bird is a better shooter from all areas of the floor (50/40/90) and a better shot creater than LeBron. The only place LeBron has an edge is in the locomotive down-hill power drive to the basket, and that's era-dependent, too, because LeBron doesn't have to meet Rick Mahorn or Anthony Mason at the basket. Bird was a much better passer than LeBron. They average about the same number of assists in spite of LeBron dominating the ball. As much as LeBron controls the ball, he should get gobs of assists. Bird could create for teammates out of the normal flow of the game. Bird and Magic both had superior basketball IQs to LeBron. It's really not a close comparison if you have watched the entirety of all their careers. Bird, Magic, and Michael were all just flat superior basketball players to LeBron. They had better skills, They were better leaders. And, they raised the levels of their teammates in ways that LeBron never could.
I’m glad you mentioned the stats about pip. They forgot he came off the bench
LeBron habitually puts on unnecessary histrionics that really hurt him. I was still appalled with his hand cast he put on after the 2nd KD Finals loss. Dude gave an honorable effort in the finals and had an all time regular season. But instead of accepting the grace that would have been given for facing an Uberteam, he opts for a cop out and says he played with a Broken hand. Like dude, just stop talking.
I hate to offend any Cauc sensibilities but only weirdo fans and Skkip Bayles are dumb enough to think that Comprifoam and medical tape is a cast.
The reason why opinions on LeBron are so vastly different between his peers and his critics is because too many of these critics have never played sports and can’t even identify simple items we use in a locker room
@@criticalthought4910 He did say "I basically played with a broken hand." Whether or not it was actually a cast is completely irrelevant.
I hate to say it, Bron didn’t attempt to stop KD that series. That’s what the Cavs needed him to do. He failed at it, miserably, but the general consensus is to look at his stats and argue he had a “good showing.”
He didn’t.
@@manwerama he for sure said “I played with a broken hand” but we as fans are supposed to decipher between foam and casts. Lmao
Yeah right
@@manwerama People who are a part of the Culture not only saw his swollen hand but watched him in the post game pressers gripping frozen apples and Cryo balls in his busted hand.
If fanboys are delusional and deranged enough to believe that an NBA player needs to invent a hand injury after a playoff series Vs 2 MVPs and a DPOY then you most likely get your Hoops information from Skkkip Bayless

Same thing I have been saying for awhile Lebron isn't hungry he lost his hungry for the game no one that watches him can denied that fact. He is more focused on the media an what's on the news instead of himself his team an teammates. Most people can tell that once you start really paying attention.
He’s 38 years old and 20 seasons into the league. He didn’t get to take 4 years off during a 15 year stretch 😂
