Would he create ways to draw fouls in this soft era? ABSOLUTELY. Jordan was crafty like that. But flopping? No. Also, because of this soft era and how it's so geared for offense, this is why Jordan would realistically average 40-45 points a game. He would've undoubtedly mastered the 3pt shot, being it's so relevant in this era and he would get more FTs and he shot 83-84% for his career. It easy to see how Jordan could average at least 40 a game in this era.

There's a saying that goes: " You know what's the worst thing of being on top, the only way is down", meaning, Lebron was on top the moment he got drafted to NBA straight out of high school (only 18), already going against the big boys, and especially after just his 2nd year in NBA, his performance in the 2004 season, everyone's expectations for Lebron was skyrocketed, all the way on top, so from there on, 2005 to 2010, everytime Lebron didnt win a ring, he will get criticize. While Jordan get to play couple years in college, so he was psychologically more prepared than Lebron, MJ was drafted in 1984 by The Bulls when he was 21, played couple years, then already just in his 5th and 6th year (1989) and (1990) respectively, he had future star Pippen and coach Phil by his side, The Bulls went to the Semi Finals twice (so why would he switch teams for if he's already on a great team?) and won 3 rings in a row the following years. For Jordan, people's expectations for him were building up, getting better and better. 10 years, started from, when MJ got drafted into NBA to 1994, he already won 3 rings, so of course MJ was able to accomplish more than Lebron in a short timeframe.
18 years old Lebron stayed with the Cavaliers (one of the worst team in NBA history) for 7 years, the furthest they ever made it this far was their first final appearance in 2007 at the time, led by James ( something no player done before for any team). Can't really blame him for going to Miami Heat. There's only that much he could had done for the Cavs, it's a team sport. He finally won his very 1st ring in 2010.

Here are my reasons why MJ is the GOAT.
First off, I don’t look at team accomplishments, I only look at individual accomplishments. I am not going to look at rings or if a player has been swept because that ultimately has too many factors and is unfair to one singular player. Basketball fundamentally is a team sport, not an individual one. The only time I do look at this; is if a player did not play up to their standards and affected their team negatively in winning a game or series.
Reasons 1 - MJ stayed loyal to the Bulls. Even though he was continuously losing in the playoffs and putting up great stats, he still stayed through the difficult times. He didn’t leave to form a team or leave to a better team. He continued to work on his game and improve while the team was building a cohesive unit around him.
Reason 2 - Most individual accomplishments in NBA history. MJ earned most of these awards in his 11 full healthy seasons with the Bulls. There isn’t a player that has the stats, the accolades nor the play that Michael Jordan brought to the table during his 11 healthy seasons with the Bulls. His dominance over the game of basketball is something we will most likely never see again.
Reason 3 - Dominant scorer and dominant defender. When looking at the game of basketball logically, the two most important aspects of the game is offense and defense. Scoring is the fundamental aspect of offense, while defending is the fundamental aspect of defense. MJ has 10 scoring titles and a DPOY as a guard. Also has the most regular season blocks for a guard. Top 5 in steals all time as a guard. He also has the highest PPG average in the regular season and in the playoffs. Even though he was a high volume offensive player he was efficient.
Reason 4 - The intangibles and fundamentals that MJ possessed were some of the best I’ve seen. I have watched many MJ games and highlights and I still have not seen a play where he wasted a dribble. Every move was done with a purpose and in a flow. As for his intangibles, his goal was to win at any cost, he was clutch, and he had a relentless motor as well as work ethic.
Reason 5 - When he came back to the Wizards after not playing for about 3 seasons, MJ still averaged 20 PPG on not great efficiency but not the worst efficiency ever. Let me add context, MJ came back to one of the hardest defensive eras and on some nights still dropped 30+, 40+, or 50 points. He couldn’t drive to the rim as much because his knees weren’t in the best shape and he was older. His game was mostly predicated around perimeter jumpers, posting up, and off ball movement so naturally efficiency will drop. He also didn’t jump as high as he could on his jump shots obviously due to age and his knees. Pre Injury Wizards Jordan was averaging 25, 6, and 5. To comeback to the NBA after 3 seasons and still put up those kind of numbers is incredible and shows that MJ is a one of kind player.
Reason 6 - MJ was a preternatural athlete. Simply put, I personally have not seen a player like MJ. The way he moved, dunked the ball, everything was so graceful and looked so natural. I also have never seen a player make so many layups when not even looking at the rim or contorting their body in ways to make a layup. I have never seen a guard posterize 7 footers routinely. I simply have not seen a player like MJ and most likely won’t again. There are once in a generation players and then there are once in a lifetime players. MJ is a once in a lifetime player. He was so good, that it’s like a real life NBA 2k player with 99 in every stats, including intangibles, and the best animations comes alive in reality and takes over basketball. That’s is why I think MJ is the GOAT.

A better rebounder, ummm he's supposed to be, his natural position is SF and he's 6'9" 250, he better be a better rebounder. Jordan is a SG, the job of that position is to score, not grab rebounds, and he could still grab rebounds. A better assister, now you just need to stop talking about basketball, there is no way you watched Jordan's career, and for your sake I hope you didn't with the non sense you're spewing. Again the Shooting Guard position is for "Scoring & Slashing to the basket".. And yet people like you tend to leave out that big stretch when Jordan had to run Point Guard and he was averaging triple doubles when asked to be the PG (the facilitator) and was still averaging over 30pts a game while doing so. And controlling the game is LeBron's down side (The LeBron James Offense).. It doesn't work unless LeBron has the ball in his hands because he can't play off the ball. He never has been able to. He's a transition superstar and a chase down artist, and Jordan is a better transition player than he is anyway. You noticed how Nick Wrong decided to focus on yr 2 of Lebron vs Jordan's career. The reason? If you look at 2yr splits for the 2 players, Lebron and Jordan's PPG was almost the same: Jordan @25.5 and Lebron @24. But if you look at the very next season for both players, Jordan pulls away from EVERY NBA great with a 31.5 PPG avg and Lebron was at 27.8 and stayed in the range his entire career.
Lebron has only averaged over 30 PPG 3 times in 20 yrs. Jordan sustained that run for 7 consecutive seasons. 7!!! And he had a total of 8 30+ seasons in a 15 yr career (13 if you just want to count his Bulls days).
Let's throw Kobe in there. Kobe had 3 seasons of 30 PPG. Difference? Kobe's averages were nuts! One season was 35.4 and another was 31.6. And with Kobe's numbers declining since the 2011 season and injury, he still managed to average a career of 25 PPG. Lebron, despite still playing, is still averaging 27.5.
That shows you who the GOATS really are. Lebron's entire career is fabricated nonsense as to who the GOAT is. Mike put in that work...work that Lebron has never been able to replicate. Kobe was the ONLY player to come close to that. Bar injury? Kobe may have beaten plenty of Jordan's records...and I think MJ would have been just fine with that.

Jordan was carrying that to the ECF only to lose to the all-time great Pistons team who were stacked with 4 hall of famers in their prime.
Also, when Nick Wright said all of Lebron's championships came against teams led by top-15 all time players in Steph, Duncan, and Durant, he conveniently left out how Duncan was 37 and out of his prime when he beat him in 13, he left out the 2020 Heat who were a weaker opponent than any of MJ's finals competition, he left out how KD was 23 when he beat him in 2012, and he left out how Lebron himself had multiple all-stars on his team for all his championships outside of 2020 (which AD was a superstar). People always only talk about scoring and offensive numbers. Defense can not be overlooked! Lebron was never known as a great on ball defender, or even team defender, in fact some analysts claim he has been a defensive liability most of his career. He gets a great chase down block every now and then, and a timely steal sometimes, but his defensive ability is nowhere near MJ.. or even Kobe or Tim Duncan.

Mj's career is unique in that you essentially had 2 maybe 3 different versions of himself with gaps in his career. I think that in and of itself allows goat discussions to rage on because there's always the "what if" he didn't have those gap years. For myself his wizards years are important because it showed he could still play more importantly, that it was a mistake to dismantle the bulls after 98.
His wizard years also proved to me that his game could carry well into the 2000s in spite of some arguing he was just a "90s" player.

You can not say a 20 year old LeBron was better than a 20 year old Michael. Mike was in college, and Dean Smith kept the reigns on Mike. When Mike got to the NBA, he was able to get loose. He averaged 28 points as a rookie on 51% shooting and was an all-star. LeBron averaged 20 points as a rookie and was not an all-star. He also said LeBron was faster than Mike, which is lie. Mike ran a 4.3 40 and had the highest recorded vertical in NBA history at 48 inches. LeBron ran a 4.6 40 and had a 44 inch vertical.
