Hitting Master rank in this game is nowhere near as strict as achieving Master in SFV. You can hit Master even with a win rate below 50% so with enough grind and effort anyone can hit Master. It’s designed to keep new players active and playing instead of quitting the game like SFV which is something DSP did. I feel like compared to SFV’s rank system where you would be hard stuck in a rank, you could eventually hit higher ranks simply if you keep playing. If Max and DSP fought in SFV the skill gap would be wider, DSP could barely get out of Silver while Max hit Platinum.
