    Along the lines of a "budget" build, you could remove and sell your shackle relocation brackets as they are no longer needed. That is an upcoming upgrade to Project Bumble Jeep. I plan on making my own. Looking good. Was glad you heard me when I told you to put you lower hoop mounts through the uni-frame with backing plates. God bless and stay well.

    Nice fabwork bud digging it, love when guys make legitimately one of a kind fab work best part about jeeps and offroading in general. How do u feel about dbm metalwork stifferners I have center sec havnt installed it yet. Would u recommend just letting brake line and fuelline hang to weld that inside I know u gotta spot stitch weld but worried about the heat around gasline etc. Everyone says u don't have to pull carpet my jeep is rust free just lil surface shit. And is there a reason u like the shock hoop better the. The shock tower.. is the fab advantages to the hoop im guessing easier..

  • @wheels.and.wrenches
    @wheels.and.wrenches 2 года назад +2

    Looks great. But i would have leaned the top of the shocks inward quite a bit more. For 2 reasons... first reason to keep the shock away from the tire. And 2, to keep the shock at a 90 degree angle to the axle tube when one tire is stuffed, and the other tire is drooped.

    • @wheels.and.wrenches
      @wheels.and.wrenches 2 года назад

      Also.. shock bolts should always go Front to back (perpendicular to the axle tube) So when the suspension articulates the shock can pivot on the bolt and not rely on the shock mount to do all the work. That pivot ball only moves so far.

  • @bustedwrenchgarage2051
    @bustedwrenchgarage2051 2 года назад +1

    Yes you can't have to much gussets if you ever think it might need a few gussets then your probably right so just put them on anyway you also need limiting straps and bump stops for extra safety incase you full send it off a jump by accident like foot slips off break and floors the gas the limiting straps keeps you from pulling the rod out of the shock and bump stops keep you from bottoming your shocks out the best thing to do is get a go-pro mount it under the vehicle at your 4 link and shocks an run it for 30 mins and watch how your suspension handles if adjustments need to be made you'll have an idea on where to begin hope it helped you have a good one bud
