I wouldn't say that Steve is unique for being grammatically incorrect so much as he's special because he's not pretending to be something he's not. His English may not be perfect, but he's completely understandable most of the time. And he comes off as genuine.

Just a suggestion: I had a friend once who had the same issue. She discovered that when she put a little bit of breathlessness in her speech, almost in a whisper (but still loud enough to be heard), she sounded way more feminine. Worth a try!

Sometimes the thing that some people view as a flaw is what makes you special and memorable. It is often better to be different and stand out than to be standard and blend in. Many super successful people are "weird". Steve knows that well.
