I mistankenly purchased the XMP version instead of the EXPO and was crashing at POST and was stuck at 4800MHz (Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz)Setting the BIOS manually copying your settings and is 6000Mhz running smooth! Thanks a lot my man 🍻
Dudes a W my expo never WORKED FOR ALMOST 10 months. Recently I wanted to fix this issue. Everytime I went into expo my pc wouldn’t boot and yellow light on mb. After following your guide 6000mhz works fine.
Guy is a freaking legend man! Was having so many problems but finally got it to boot, EXPO I would work until I'd eventually randomly reboot and then out of nowhere I would have to reset everything, reboot, then apply EXPO I again and if I was lucky it would work for a few more times until it didn't again. EXPO II was the same. This video got it to work finally and hopefully for good. Thank you sir!
@@loirow_ I think we’re good, ran some stress tests for mem and all good. I read there’s really only 2 ddr5 ram and most can run all configs sold(within reason).
Thanks for the video. My Ram is 5200Mhz. I have Asus z790 for an Intel chip, still quite similar to your MB. I manually put 5600 and 1.25v. It reaches 5600 and still uses 1.1v.
thanks for the video! btw what is the exact ram that you have? I imagine its this one "G. SKILL 64GB KIT DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Trident Z5 RGB Black" but want to confirm before I buy them
I have the asus rog strix 650 E-F gaming wifi with 128 Gigs (four sticks) of the Trident Z CL30 Neo from Gskill...I have not be able to post in any expo setting or even manualy setting it to 6000mzh like you did...I have read that its a very widespread problem of that MOBO and Manufacturer...I had not issues in my old intel build and Z370H Gaming...its just annoying I builded a fully Amd build, 7800x3d CpU...and I cant unleash its potential...I am very mad...
While I boot with the EXPO on, the system takes about 30 extra seconds to boot up and the fans run max speed while this is happening. Is anybody else having a similar issue?
hi. i cannot find "cpu core voltage". motherboard is asus b650 E-F. how can i find this? In this video, that section is visible to you, but not to me. please answer
Hello Mr. Daves, Thanks for the video, I have the same motherboard, but I have 4 ram of G.Skill Z5 neo RGB 4x16 6000Mhz(with EXPO), but it is impossible to boot the pc with these characteristics. It only stays at 3600Mhz, there is no way to change, I have tried EXPO I, EXPOII, Manual. But the only way it works is in automatic. Do you have any trick or solution for this? Thank you.
Hello mr Daves, I have same mobo. But my ram 6400mhz. It worked at 600mhz very well. But i want to run it at 6400mhz. Can u help me? Thank u very much I subbed
hi, i have same memory sticks and motherboard(bios 1616) as you, but after enabling expo 1 the system is not posting and i have an orange light on the motherboard, how you much time it needs for memory training?
I have a question I hope you can help with. I see in the place u change the numbers to 32, 38, 38, and 96, the numbers to the left of them are 40, 40, 40, and 77. Mine are 30, 30, 30 and 56, does this change what numbers I need to put in on the right side? I also have another option in advanced memory voltages area above pmic voltages called pmic force continuous current mode, shouod it be enabled or disabled or auto?

Managed to lower my 6400mhz cl34 to 6000mhz cl30. No issues at all following your tutorial, thank you!
Hello, late reply but I just followed the tutorial with 6400mhz cl36 ram, am I on 6000mhz cl30 like you or did you have to do any extra step?

You are welcome. Thank you for watching and the comment.
Very nice and simple explanation gj

What are the risks when doing this ?

Try 2 sticks only, it is well known AM5 is bad with 4 sticks

If you have 4 sticks you are limited to 3600, if you want to boost speed try 2 sticks.
Why is it limited to 2 sticks only.

The orange light is the ram problem, Try different settings for your ram. Thanks for watching and the comment.
After doing this I got a new cpu installed message and it’s asking me to reset ftpm
hi . i have the same mobo.I think when i power on takes too long .i see in mobo the debug leds checking.is that normal?
Yes it is normal for it to take longer after OCing your ram. Thanks for watching and the comment.
does this work on the rog b650 a aswell??

Also I have 4 sticks of 32 gb each I am reading thst 2 sticks is max for am5 tho
What is expo? Nobody actually explains how to do this stuff
expo is the default new auto bumpb system for amd, is exactly like intel xmp.
Basically it helps control the auto OC of the CPU. Thanks for watching and the comment.
