What a sweet young man, this musical prodigy, still living with his family with the piano taking up most of their largest room! And then the neighbors being mad for the last 10 years. Wow. Things aren’t easy for people in Russia, we have no idea.
Best to his family and to all the people of Russia and Ukraine. Prayers to all who fall under the tyranny of evil dictators. May we all find peace, inner and outer.

Following him on RUclips him since a child has been a priveldge. A question: if Alexander finds the Prokofiev easy or not too hard(?!?) which concertos or pieces does he find difficult? It would be very interesting to know. Does anyone recall hearing Alexander say what he finds challenging to play?

@@brunoguitteny5862 Truth is , re Danial B , the Russian people are not our enemies nor are the Ukranians for that matter . Leaders take our sons off to war while civilians as always become the pawns in any political game . I am a pacifist so I don't support war as a way to settle our differences . So I do not agree with Danial B either as polarizing sides into good and evil does not solve our human condition. We all have a shadow side which we all need to take note off . Projecting our shadow onto a person or group solves nothing to be honest . We are all brothers and sisters on this very small planet . Perhaps, we the people , need to remind our leaders of such. Further such reminders might lead to the people choosing wise leaders on all sides . Otherwise we will wipe each other off the face of this planet by our technology which has no respect for our human condition.

Nice discussion of his play style and history in music. When was this filmed? Seems odd to not have any mention of the Ukraine invasion's by Russia, unless it was decided not to mention it by rules before the interview.
Also odd that he refences the influence of the Soviet Union, instead of just Russia, given his young age. I suppose that is the narrative that all his teachers and the older generation have, to use it interchangeably.
