I just recently turned 70 and after a lot soul searching I came to the conclusion that at this phase of my life I need to concentrate on myself and my relationship with God exclusively!!
I love your video about time. I am a little 70yrs old. I find myself spending more time with God, and praying for myself, family and friends very often. I find that keeps me calm and makes me feel worthy through Christ. It gives me peace in my mind. “I thank God so much for this time of my JOURNEY, Thank God.
I am 70 years old, and now I realize that happiness doesn't come from pleasing others or chasing social noise, but from slowing down, cherishing time, and focusing on what truly matters.
Protecting my peace is easy with myself. I prefer my own company. I don't care to be around people. I appreciate spending time with God and myself. I never get bored. I can always find something creative to do in my home. Very content just cleaning, cooking, and doing, at times, absolutely nothing but relaxing😊
At the age of 75, I've come to understand that true happiness doesn't lie in trying to please others or getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of society. Instead, it comes from slowing down, valuing each moment, and concentrating on what genuinely matters in life.
😂That part! I'm Too content with myself than in my younger days; really, IDGAF who visit or chat with me, that's 'quanity', I long for 'quality time' is my new motto!!
I will be 71 this January. When I turn 70 I kept getting unrespectful requires from family and friends. Demands, that's when I realized that they all were about themselves not my friendship and kind heart but themselves. They would get very disrespectful when I say no to their demands. I had to let them go in order to have peace of mind and happiness. I'm glad I did. I'm so HAPPY 😊
My reasoning is somewhat different, I have reached the same conclusion. My time is more important to me now and I have less involvement (asked or need to be with people). I have found most were users anyway. They never cared about me.
I’m 65 going on 66 next week. Since my early 30’s I chose to to live by myself. I’m in my 60’s now still do and wouldn’t trade the peace and serenity for anything. Agree with this commentary 💯. Silence really is golden. You can’t argue with yourself!!!
Thank u Thank you thank you😅! I thought I was crazy not wanting people around me. I love me but God is truly my real love. ❤ He loves me,takes care of me ,full of joy it's amazing
Thanks for sharing...i am 64 and very comfortable being alone. As i got older i realized i cared more for others than they did for me...i now focus on me and my sewing crafting and things i love

I am 65. I returned to my home village 7 years ago, bought a piece of land and started to plant trees. Now I have my own tiny forest, a pond full of fish, a garden full of organic vegetables. I live with a cat, Burny. I go to a village which is around 1.5 km to buy food. The whole day I spend time taking care of my garden.
