The Iconic (and perfect) Movie: Alien

With the upcoming release of Alien: Romulus, which I personally think it looks incredibly good and cannot wait, but also am cautiously optimistic. Love everything we've seen and have faith in Fede Alvarez as director, so just hoping it comes together because I'd love an Alien movie that everyone can collectively agree is good.
This video isn't talking Romulus though, hopefully am able to talk about it after watching though. This video is all about the original Big Chap.
Ridley Scott released Alien in 1979 and would influence filmmaking so much from then on. Whilst in formula, it is a horror movie of that time if you really want to break it down, just a slasher picking one by one off. But I think if that's all you see in this movie, you're missing the substance that is there as well as the outstanding execution of the simple and more intricate ideas.

Covenant was good, and 1979-2019 is a long time

There are good parts in covenant but storyline was a bit of a stretch. ( just my thoughts)

Oh man, oh jeez, oh no but I'm not sure how an older, lifelong fan like me will receive Romulus but in the very least it's drumming up a storm of videos on all things Alien franchise straight into my eyeballs, eardrums to my brain I like it
