This video is a life saver; my phone was stuck on the Apple logo and wouldn’t budge; I did the recovery mode method and I’m happily able to restore my iPhone back to stable use; thank you so much for this and for not only visually showing what to do but explaining how in a thorough and easy to understand way! i found my old iphone and dont remember the password/passocde, i tried the recovery thing in itunes app with my computer but now its stuck in the recovery mode and it says error occurred (11) when i try to resore the factory settings, do you know what i can do to get my phone back????
Just got this problem w/ battery at 78% apple changed battery still kept rebooting Watched a video the guy was massaging / slapping Vol up/ down & side bottom it so far so good ( it worked)
Believe it or not, there are actually people out there who need this video. The 68 likes prove that. The more iOS literate people just don’t need it because we’ve seen all this in the previous and newer models.
The part about how you have to enter the password and trust the computer on itunes really makes me feel safe knowing someone can't just steal my phone and wipe it easily.

I think when u press sleep/awake button 5 times, the emergency call pops up and. Counts down. I learnt it in a weird way. Also if you press the same button 3 times, the invert colors option turns on.

This doesn't work. MacBook Air - phone is connected but locked - need to wipe it as PIN not know; not associated to any iCloud account as DEP. It basically doesn't go into DFU mode and it shows again how useless Apple is with permanently changing the way how this works. Device connected to MacBook and I tried: Holding Power only - no luck holding vol- and power - not working holding vol+ and power - not working holding vol- and power for 10 sec and then releasing the power button - no luck the same as above with vol+ - you guessed it, not working. I can put any other iCrap into DFU, tried 6s, 7, 7 plus, 8 - all no problem but the 'new'
This man really tried to get his RUclips money with this 10 minute video. Nobody needs to learn how to turn on and off an iphone nor does anyone need to learn where the volume buttons are. Rant over, I'ma continue the video and hopefully I'll learn what I actually came here for and what the title says.

Use 3u tools… to get out of recovery mode and to get out of dfu mode quickly press volume up then down and hold the power button.. you should see the apple logo in about 10 seconds
Not necessarily a ‘downgrade’ it’s just a cheaper iPhone with recent internals for people who want an iPhone that is relatively future-proof without paying all of their money on the premium lineup.

it drives me nuts that it takes literally dozens of tries to get iPhones newer than iPhone 6S to enter DFU mode.
