Pardon my ignorance, but I did not know what DFU stands for. I had to check on the Internet. Perhaps, for the short headed like me it would be good to tell what acronyms stand for. DFU = Device Firmware Upgrade.

Christ almighty, been trying to get into DFU mode for the past hour just so I can remove jailbreak. Every site says the usual up -> down -> side -> then hold down -> let go of the side button after 5 seconds. Multiple times, no luck. Even updated, then tried it. Instead, holding the side button down throughout the whole thing was the answer. Cheers!

Thank you so much, i am having a problem after unplugged my charging cable and my iphone 11 stuck on the ALLOW TO ACCESS PHOTO AND VIDEO and the touch screen is not responding properly. Due to the screen is not working so i couldn't swipe the restart button on the screen. I even accidentally call to the cops due to i long press the volume up and home screen. After reboot my phone went back to normal. liked and subscribed.

Tenorshare prices are kinda high when its just a one time fix. Not to mention this is not a permanent fix if its a motherboard issue. very common on iphone 11

Christian Castro You need to turn off Auto Brightness, settings, display & text size and auto brightness and you’ll see a button that says Auto Brightness. Try that to see if it works.

I have a new 11 pro max and have the following problems. 1. On occasion, the ringer and alert button slides to the left by itself and the phone does not ring. 2. While looking at the screen, it sometimes blacks out. I thought it was supposed to stay on while actively looking at it. 3 The opposite of 2 above. On some screens, if I put the phone aside, it does not black out even thought I set it at 30 seconds. Your You Tubes are great and any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Toves i suggest going to iCloud.com to check and see if all your photos/videos have been backed up...my phone was already backed up prior to it messing up on me so once I did the factory reset, my phone gave me the option to restore all my data (photos, videos, contacts etc) from the cloud back onto my phone! Just make sure to read all the directions as you go when doing factory reset.
The problem I am having is it says that it is extracting the software, before it is finished I hear a noise from my pc which means for some reason the iPhone is automatically disconnecting. Then when the software is finished extracting it says device not found..obviously because it is automatically disconnecting after a while.
what would you suggest to keep my data safe.. I have to get my screen replaced at a repair shop and have to turn off password lock for them, they will have access to all my apps and data

Thanks for the guide, this saved my day, iPhone 11 stuck in recovery, this would not recover at all, even with all sorts of recovery tools and was stuck in a boot loop, placed it in dfu and then recovered through iTunes and it restored the os, couldn't find any guidance on this process online only that dfu was a device state I hadn't tried (and was the last port of call before giving the device back broken) thanks for the help!!!
What happens if the computer can't restore the phone at all? Stuck in recovery mode and cannot update nor factory restore the phone! Worst problem ever.
