I have a daughter with special needs and I cannot imagine a life without her. She is the light of our house and her three siblings and mom adored her from the day she was born.
I pray my oldest and youngest sons love their middle brother with DiGeorge Syndrome and Peters Anomaly like Jamie loves his sister as they grow. This bond is so beautiful.

My cousin's daughter has down syndrome. She is the sweetest person I've ever met! It's true what Jamie says about his sister and what he has learned from her. I believe that down syndrome people are born to teach us how to live in the moment and not worry about stupid insignificant things in this world.

This story brought tears to my eyes. I personally couldn’t tell she had down syndrome. Her eyes don’t show it and she is very spunky! I wish to hang around her, she is a sweetheart. Mad props to Jamie for always sticking by her and never making her feel that she was anything less than the best!!

Did we really need another reason to love and admire this man ?? Not really, but in my eyes seeing him with his baby sister has solidified what I already believed about him and that he has the biggest most loving heart ....People might think why should someone be praised for doing what they're supposed to do....I'll tell you why, I was a teacher for children with developmental disabilities and many of these children were a burden to their families and weren't shown the love they needed and craved and when they became of age many were put into residential homes because the parents or guardians just couldnt be bothered and many never got visits from their families or taken out for the day...So yes, I admire and appreciate someone like Jamie who has all the money in the world to place his sister in a group home but wants her with him instead ...and I can certainty see why....Diondra is amazing...what a beautiful, intelligent young lady with such a sparkling personality...Much Love from Lisa, N.y...Stay Safe Everyone....🥰🙏🙏🙏🥰

Having special kids in the family is kind of a blessing in a way. I have a cousin who have special needs, everybody in the small town knows him coz he's very friendly and everytime we have a family gathering, he will always be the life of the party. Their family is just a simple lower middleclass type family, then eventually blessings started to come and I notice that in alot of families with special kids having worked in a hospital before.
