Great review of lots of LED devices. I first got the Aduro, used for a year, and then got the much hyped Omnilux face mask. Then I lost my mind and bought the Omnilux neck and chest and the hand masks. That was years ago but I have to say, I see no results, and I had a completely open mind. I used the hand mask every night for a year on my LEFT hand only. After the year there was absolutely no difference between my LED-treated left hand and my non-treated right. 😭😭😭 I really want to try the Celluma or Dermalux panels but they're SO expensive and might not do any better than all the Omnilux devices I bought.

    • @Healtybytes

I used the Celluma and I did not see positive results. Instead after 1 year of regular use, I saw fat loss. I think there was too much heat transfer that may have contributed

Hi there, ignore the profile pic. I’m an esthetician. Have used Celluma on myself and 100’s of clients. The results are incredible. I haven’t had 1 client tell me they didn’t see a difference. In fact, I give them a hand mirror right after. The response is typically Woaw!. They instantly fall in love with the service. I would highly recommend this device for long term use. Also worth mentioning, celluma is the only device that is FDA approved.

Wow! This video is a treasure trove of info on LED therapy! I've been using a red light therapy panel from Future Form Official, a company based in Norway, and it has been fantastic for my chronic joint pain. Unlike other devices I’ve tried, this one combines affordability with effective treatment. I started noticing less stiffness and pain within just a couple of weeks of consistent use. Plus, the panel is priced really well compared to other high-end options. It’s definitely worth checking out if you're looking for quality therapy. Thanks again for sharing all this valuable research, Trina!

I have the full body mito one ($4k), red and infrared lights. Very bright, husband and i use it together. Can control timer up to 30 min. For how much it covers, it is amazing. Standing close like 8 inches or 12, infrared gives off some heat. Youre supposed to do 16-18in though so i dont think its an actual issue. Red light has no heat at all, even 8 inches away. I love to do my low-impact workouts or yoga while using the full body panel - such a time saver!

Thank you so much for this review!
Masks vary alot in light output. Super important to know what kind of lights they have.
Red 630 (Omni Lux) and 850 seem to be the best for anti aging. The new "Men's" Omni Lux mask includes the 850.
Really need to compare in both wavelengths and power intensity.
There's a certain amount of power needed to get a benefit.
Lower power just requires longer treatment time, but can even be too low to provide a benefit.
Need a spectrometer to really measure.... but they're expensive.
Table panels are significantly more powerful, but way more expensive. But treatment time is less, like two minutes.

I use the Omnilux Neck and Dec for my face, neck and hands. I have to hold it over my face as I lie down but unlike the face mask, there are no holes for eyes and lips which means eyelids and lips get treated, too which I think is better. When it stops working eventually, I think I will try the Current Body version and save a little money. Even though the Current Body is a little less powerful, I will be in maintenance mode.

Hi Trina, first of all I want to thank you for this video. It's the most comprehensive one I've found so far!
I've never tried LED masks but I want to buy one, so this video is really helpful ☺️
My problem is I can't decide which one to get. I'm 36 and my main reason for getting one is the anti aging benefits. That being said, I do struggle a bit with adult acne, but nothing too bad since I use tretinoin. So the blue light seems like a bonus for me. Between the Dr. Dennis Gross mask and the Qure one, which one do you recommend?
I like the price of the Qure one but people say they break fast and the costumer service is terrible, so I would rather pay more and get a more reliable one.
Or is there another one that you think would be better? The Omnilux Clear looks promising, especially because it's flexible and I really want to use it in other parts of the body, but the fact that you can only use the red and blue together might defeat the purpose. The Aduro seems like it checks all the boxes, but it's also the one with the lowest intensity and at the end of the day, if I'm gonna spend this kind of money, I want results 😆
I'm so confused! Any help would be so appreciated! 😊

thank you for all the hard work that went into making this comprehensive video and spreadsheet. You saved me so much time! I was considering the Dermalux panel both for anti aging and treatment of chronic pain. I think for safety everyone should protect their eyes and wear goggles when using panels, regardless of whether it “feels” too bright. My one issue would be needing to buy LED eye goggles on top of the $2500 for the panel. I was hoping if I waited it out, a company would come out with a device that avoids needing to buy both, because I think if you’re spending at the highest price point, it ought to cover everything. I think I would just about have a heart attack if I purchased one of these panels and it stopped working after the warranty! Who knows how much they would cost to repair or if there are any places that actually do that. I don’t know how well this would work on hair growth, considering it’s not going to cover your scalp like the helmets do but i’m also not convinced that the LED hair growth devices do much because everyone who has reviewed them is also using other hair growth treatments. I would love to know if you feel the panels work as well on your face as the masks, which potentially sit closer to the skin and if you’ve used this for hair growth. Your hair is beautiful; it doesn’t look like you have any thinning but since you mentioned they could be used for that, I am curious .

    • @beautybeyond40
      @beautybeyond40  5 месяцев назад

Hi. Thanks for the kind words! The Dermalux panel should come with goggles. I have a full video about that panel if you want to watch it. For hair, I mostly use my Laduora device which has red LED. I also use my high frequency wand with the comb attachment sometimes. Regarding panels vs masks - it depends on what you're trying to treat. Many people like panels becuase they have more lights and can treat more surface area, including chest, neck, hairline, etc depending on how you are using it. I personally find it difficult to sit in front or under a panel so I prefer a mask. So a mask will work better for me since I'll actually use it more. And a mask is easier for me to bring when I'm traveling. The Dermalux panel is extremely popular within this community because of its features, clinical results, and because many people use it for pain management. But everyone is different. As always, it comes down to what you are trying to treat, your budget, and how much time you have.

@@beautybeyond40Hi again, where were you able to find the tech spec of 27 mW/cm2 for the DermaLux Flex MD? I went to their website and it only lists ranges (intensity: 5-27 mW and Dose Range: 10-40 joules.) Someone in a sub Reddit, who purchased it was confused as to why the numbers she had, for the intensity (Red: 11.5 mW/cm2 & NIR: 5.5 mW/cm2, which seem wrong/low to me), are significantly less than the intensity in her Current Body LED facemask. I’m not sure where she got her numbers but it didn’t make sense to me that a face mask under $500, would have higher intensity than the $2495 panel. If only I could find the specs…Thamks!

I do not recommend using the eye perfector on your whole face. The lights will not offer full coverage and it will be awkward to hold it on your face. It is not very flexible for that purpose. It is more powerful for the eye area specifically becuase the lights are concentrated for under eye, 11s, and crows feet. It will not offer the same consistent results for the rest of your face.
