You make this seem so easy! I appreciate your patience. Thanks😊
Thanks for zooming in. I have crocheted for almost 60 years and I am like a kid in a candy store with these You Tube videos. You're the first one I have seen that really gets close in so you can see what you are doing with each individual stitch. With some of the more complicated patterns and darker yarn, it's hard ti see where they are going. I have done a lot of projects using the Granny Squares, but never one like this.Thank you for a really good video.
Omg! I have tried Day after day to learn this, until I followed you😁 I finally learned thanks to you and the way you zoomed in and taught !!! I can’t thank you enough!!
I have watched so many granny square videos and yours was the only one that helped me! Thank you so much!
This is the best solid granny square tutorial, thank you!
I just made my very first solid granny square using this tutorial!! Thank you sooo much
Thanks now I know this design. Explained nicely
Actually this tutorial is very simple and not complicated at all .. thank you so much 💞
The best junction I have seen until now thank you !
Charlotte, thank you for zooming in and explaining with such detail. It is extremely helpful.
I watched about 5 videos of this particular square and I actually just gave up.
Well I found your video and I wasn’t frustrated anymore😅. The way you explained that corner with the join and how to slip stitch into the chain up was most helpful. Thank you!
Thank you! This was so helpful! Your super zoom close ups made a big difference in seeing what you were doing!
Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial. I am a beginner and was able to follow it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these. No other videos are this easy to follow!! ❤
I've made dozens of afghans, but never a Solid Granny. So for the past two days, I have practiced every single Solid Granny technique I could find - Chain 3 in the corner, Chain 5 in the corner, Chain 3 on the side, Standing Double Crochet, Turn after every round, and on and on and on. I was never satisfied with any of them because of that ugly seam. I'm using Caron Simply Soft, which I think is thinner and makes it even harder to hide that ugly seam. And then I found this video, and suddenly All Is Well!!! I'm on a roll and making up for lost time now. Thank You so much for sharing this technique and for the excellent video.
I love this seam-free method!! Will be using this to make some bags for my etsy shop! Thank you so much!
this ended alot of the frustration i was feeling. very very helpful
Thanksfor the great pattern...Easiest one to follow so far! I love it!
After mastering your classic granny square tutorial, I tried watching other tutorials for different types of granny square patterns. All of them FAILED. I came back to your channel and looked more in-dept for a granny square pattern and I found this one! To make a long story short, I MASTERED this square within the length of the video. You are the one of the only RUclips crocheters that slows down, explains in detail the steps, and helps me to understand the WHY behind what we are doing. Instead of just blindly following other tutorials, with yours I understand the layout and math behind it all. I know why it looks the way it looks, now! Thank you so much all over again. I gave you a huge thumbs up on the last video and this just solidifies it. Pleaseee keep pumping videos out because you are doing an amazing job and I appreciate you so much!!! Do you have a website I can purchase patterns from? I would love to step out of my comfort zone if it was for you lmao 😅❤️
Thankyou thankyou thankyou! That third chain always trips me up, but now by counting backwards with the two double crochet it’s so easy!
This is the easiest pattern for a beginner!! I tried so many granny squares and it never worked out. This is amazing and so easy to follow! 5/5 for me 😄
This is THE BEST video for solid granny! You explained & showed so well! Your a great teacher! Tfs!
I have been trying different versions for a few days. I couldn’t understand some of the tutorials, some just didn’t work well. But I’m so glad I found yours!! Finally - someone who zooms in! Thanks for sharing your skills in such an easy and explanatory way.
I've have tried many granny squares and they just don't measure up to your tutorial👍 You are an excellent teacher and this is the Best I have ever done, your squares turn out perfect every time 😁

So excited.. I hope you made a video out the mattress stitch.. I can use all my scraps. Love your voice and the close ups.. I am a subscriber now.

You are a great teacher!
Love, love granny squares!
BEST THING about this is how she begins!! SO much easier and NEATER than the standard way (making a ring from the four chains then crocheting into the ring). This alternate way is pure genius!!
I like the way you teach!!
Awesome !
Great video! When you are speaking it gives me a chance to catch up to you. 😊
Thanks for your tutorial very easy granny square. I'm very excited to make my own.

Awesome tutorial! Thanks bunches!
this video was excellent! All the other videos didn't help but you explained it perfectly. I think I have a new hobby for the next couple of weeks :)
Very informative video. I love the tip you show us on how to join the rows without showing a line. It was not complicated at all. It is so helpful when you zoom in to show the stitches that you are using to finish a stitch. I subscribed to your channel and look forward to learning more tips and new patterns. THANK YOU!

You're welcome! ❤
Grazie di cuore! Finalmente ho capito, con questo tutorial , come nascondere le chiusure e gli inizi di ogni giro. Grande 😍

Superb tutorial, thank you!! You made it so clear and easy to follow 😃
This is the first video I have seen where the tail yarn is acknowledged, it always used to get in the way and I never knew how to get it out of the way 😀
Your video is amazing! I have watched so many tutorials, and achieved poor results. You are a wonderful Teacher, thank you.
Thank you!!!!❤
Your Tutorial is very well taught.
I'm just not a fan of the whole Chain 3 method. It is just like it sem to me thanks for the Tutorial keep the Crocheting.💜

can you please upload a video on how to join these lovely granny squares..
Thankyou ever so much 🌺💕
Thank you so much. I enjoyed this clip. I wish there were notes with it.
This pattern is so awesome! I love how you zoom in to show the next step. Do you have a link that shows how to add a border and then connect the squares?
Do you have written instructions for the solid granny square?
need
Very nice thanks
Yes would a video of how join granny square
I've been trying to master the seemingly simple solid granny square pattern for about a week and finally had success after switching yarn and watching this tutorial. The yarn I was using prior, is a lot "thinner" and would warp as if I had increased too much even though I counted the correct number of stitches. I switched to a thicker yarn and everything is working perfectly. Does yarn weight and hook size affect the outcome of these granny squares?
Great video. Please do a video on joining the granny squares.
Thank you! I will definitely do a video on how to join the squares together! ❤
Please show how to change colors! Thanks ❤
you made it very simple to understand and it was the perfect speed but mine keeps looking like a circle and I can figure out why.
It looks my starting corners are bigger holes than the other corners, thoughts? Love you video, very easy to follow, can't wait to see more
I’ve learned a lot from both this video and the “crochet granny square for absolute beginners”, but have a question…..
On this video you don’t turn your work and you chain 2 before connecting the 1st and 4th sections, where on the other video you do turn your work and only chain 1 on the the last corner. I was just wondering the reasoning behind the differences and if it matters the type of square I am working on? Thank you for your time and I really enjoy your videos.
Please make a video on how to attach them.
Oh and knitting
For some reason I can't seem to get the initial 4 holes, I always end up with one to many or 1 too short and idk what doing wrong
I have tried several times and can't figure out how I keep getting too many stitches on the row where you begin the join and crochet across
good
Where do I find your video to join the solid granny square? I love the video! Thank you !
do you have this pattern written out?
Do you flip your work after joining corners/rows and starting a new row?
If i wanted to crochet this as one big square blanket, do the corners stay the same or do i need to add in an extra loop as it gets bigger? (so the corner would be 2 double, chain 2, 2 double then on the next row up it would 2 double, chain 3, 2 double and so on)
Do you have a video on a solid rectangle granny?
Make a video on how to join
I thought I had it but I’m doing something wrong , I tried doing it three times I need help plz
Thank you😊
I will like to know how to join from Trinidad
My square is not straight. Is kinda buckled. Idk what I did wrong. I did exact the same like in ur video
Do you use loons?
Do you ever have trouble with your granny square curling inward while making them? Mine seem to always curl inward like my tension is too tight but I've used several different hooks and the result is always the same. Any suggestions would be awesome! Thank u!
You need to turn your work over every time you get back to the starting corner
Its very confused and hard to understand for me although I love crochete prety much 😣
II to get a chance
Mines not looking so good..ive failed at yours!
2z
I thought I liked this square but you still have a seam but not up the middle of the project just up along side the loops👎🏼
I dont...get it.
Too much chitter chatter!
i agree
Sorry I didn’t get u.
