Dear Tom, my son is 4.and most of time his blood sugar is always more than 200, some time 300. We are doing our best to take it under control. And last 2 days he has hipoglycemy between 16 and 18. Just want to know the reason of it. Why it happens every day at same time?
@@mahirbalayev5835 if it haepens everyday at same time there must be something he is doing everyday at the same time that increases insuline absorption, exercice or high activity moment. is it after a meal? does it only haepen at that moment in the day? if it always haepens at the same moment or time periode try to give him 10 to 15g of suger like 30 minutes befour it usualy haepens, sometimes wen that haepens to me because of slow acting insuline i do eat some sugar to prevent that low! and i dont see any other way of doing it, keep in mind aldo we might be type 1 diabetics sometimes our pancreas still produces some insuline, and if his pancreas is producing some at that expesific moment of the day that might be causing its low.... hope i help in aome way man

Yes it is useful information. it happens every day after coming from yard and after sleeping a little, when he has meal and playing with toys. Be informed that he has insulin resistance in the morning and in the evening. And he hasn't appetite.

I tried this exercise today for the first time, I am on day 2 of wearing a cgm, and it's been educational. Today, after a meal, my sugar just wouldn't budge, so I decided to try this. I probably overdid it, I did them for 50 minutes. My initial number was 206, and I went down to 157 in those 50 minutes! That's a drop of 49 mg/dl! I was amazed at the results! Thanks for this! I'm going to share this with everyone I know who is diabetic!

No matter how active you are, and what kind of exercise you do. If you don’t have insulin in blood, you can run a marathon and it won’t drop. Yes, exercise helps to lower blood sugar, but only if there’s is some insulin in blood.
good point, actually if no insuline in circullation it will only go up eaven doing exercice, so lets say the only way to lower glucose wen your a type 1 is to use insuline! thers no other way.

I tried this excercise for a full 10 minutes after my meals two separate times. .After two hours there was no change at all in either meal. . I will try again and exercise longer. I would love for something to work.
@@TypeOneTalks You're in Diabetic Tech, and not running Loop? Loop 3 works with the G7 and is far superior to any other system. I am running FreeAPS on my iphone (similar tech, ive also run loop) and i could never go back. Bolusing from the Apple Watch indiscreetly out at dinner alone is enough to keep me on it! :)

wen i have that problem is because i eat to much carbs befour go to bead, wen i do that i set an alarm clock for 3am and i give so fast acting insulin at that time usualy 2 to 4 units solvs the problem for me, but it difers from person to person, insulin doses are not the same for anyone
for insuline resistance do zero fat diet, it will work just give it time man, youl need some days maibe weeks and it will go away bro, be patient, it will work

5 years as a type 1 haepened at the age of 32, it took around 4 years to fully set and become a real type 1 untill that moment it was realy easy to manage, it gave me time to understand insuline and meals and exercice
10 years type 1. (8/june/13) Nothing before, no type 2 or pre diabetes that I knew about, no diabetes in my family. Doctors think I had a viral infection that triggered it. I was age 33.

@Type One Talks Still being investigated. But I have a family history of T1 an 2. Regarding ACV there's actually a lot of research on its effectiveness in reducing blood sugar spikes too. Cinnamon has also been shown to help as well as moringa and psyllium husk
@Carrie Wittbrodt was it 100% Pure apple cider Vinegar? Sometimes brands use other ingredients to make it more palatable such as honey. Always check the label for hidden sugary ingredients 😊 Also, if it was pure Vinegar, how much did you have and how did you have it? I.e. water? With anything added?
rice is the carb that works the beat for me, at lunch time i always eat 9 soop spons of rice coocked only in boiling water and salt, i usualy need 3 units of fast acting fiasp insuline and i eat arround 120g of protein usualy eags fish or chiken, i never use any fat to cook so it doesnt cause late absorption of the carbs, if your meals are usualy the same soner or later youl know exacly the amount of insuline and walking steps for it to work perfectly...... of course theirs always that day wen i eat the world and no insuline is enouf to get me regulated!!!!! 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i can say pushups work wonders for me wen i spike high for no apperant reason, acttualy any kind of exercice will work, as long as theirs insuline in circulation.

Not true. There's also an insulin independent glucose uptake mechanism in muscle.
I tried this once so far for 1 hour and got zero blood sugar change. I'll repeat it a couple more times to see if that was a fluke.

Im on steroids. Insulin not working this took me from 236 to 212 in 20 minutes and i can do it with my respiratory issues

When you’re standing you’ll probably be exercising the gastrocnemius muscle instead of soleus but any exercise is good!
I’ve been doing this for years…I do them standing for 10 reps but I hold the top position for 5 seconds at each rep. I do them one leg at a time.
