A nice surprise to log in and see a new vid by you. I must say, I give you a lot of credit for helping me attain silver. I am surprised since he watched your videos that he didn't try to see if you had a front row flag.
Hi Brian, I think he zoomed up the leader board right after we played this game. He didn't know he was playing me since I use an alias account for the channel. I didn't know anything about him, since I never played him before. I had no idea that he watched my videos. I thought he played a really solid game. He only made a few mistakes(not taking my scout, letting me scout his Marshal, letting me get his spy and playing too fast at the end). He also really didn't take advantage of my Marshal being revealed early. He only got the Captain with his Colonel. The panic at the end cost him when he lost 2 pieces. I'm glad I protected that bomb on J3 early in the game. Maybe he should have moved his miner near the end instead of giving me the chance to lotto it. I probably would have still captured his lieutenant. The game would have still been tough to win. He deserved a better fate. It just shows that in some games a few minor mistakes can be very costly.
Hey dobby , i’m a new stratego player and recently i’ve been binge watching all of your videos here to help me become experienced and strong in the game , your tactics are very helpful with all the analysis , strategy building , statistics and bluffs , you’re like a wizzard and we viewers learn a lot from you , i’ve watched fks , stratego with bob and other stratego players but i must say i do learn the most from you , if you could show us some additional games playing with your flag from behind so we can learn some few more tricks on how to react and defend/attack it would mean a lot , i could really learn a thing or two , thank you for all your videos , huge new fan 🙋🏻♂️
Thanks. I will look at my archive games and try to show different tactics and strategies on how to win games in the future. I still have to finish my current series. And I might show a few more games using the major attack strategy.
I've never entered one, due to lack of time to play. I encourage all players to enter tournaments. You'll play quality opponents and you'll see how you fare against top competition. It's one of the best ways to improve your play. Here's the stratego forum site where you can get information on how to enter specific tournaments. forum.stratego.com/forum/40-tournaments-tc/ You also have to list any alias accounts you might have on this thread: forum.stratego.com/topic/360528-alias-register-declarations-2020/
I recently discovered your channel and it´s the best stratego channel I´ve seen so far, because the others are either kinda noobish or pros that don´t explain that good/at all. I was wondering if you could maybe bring some analysis of probably the best stratego player "Hielco", just because he has an insane winrate around 90%, so he needs to do something better than even all the other plat players.
Unfortunately, don't believe I've ever played Hielco. So I have no idea how he plays. Someone like Nortrom or Unladden Swallow could give you a good analysis of his play. Just ask the question on the Stratego forum.
Lyme can be awful. AWFUL! I'd bet at least 25% of the suicides in the NorthEast USA probably had lyme and didn't know it. The first time I got it, it wasn't that bad. The 2nd time was terrible. I think I got it golfing. I found a good doctor and showed him a Swedish study where they were using twice the dosage of a certain antibiotic that really helped people with long term lyme. I was on antibiotics for 2 months, then took a double dose for another 30 days. That seemed to do the trick, but it still took months before I felt normal. I feel really good now, but some days my memory and concentration still don't work as good as they should. It could be me just getting older, but many people still believe that lyme effects them long time after they've been "cured".
Dobby125 am glad u are better now! Its really debilitating.... i lived in the Maryland area and was really scared. Maybe the flag forward is one of the side effects! (Joke) 😉

Lyme twice? Wow am sorry
