Yes he says something along the line of : "woah, are you here to get that antique armor replaced ? Go ahead and take an advanced model in the armory" or something like that

To make it more interesting, these kids in particular have seen a certain (DESERT TRANSACTION) involving power armor users, so they have plenty of reason to run.

@@czarnakoza9697Unless I'm mistaken, every model would have it. However, we have less information on the APA and T-45 because one's made by a secretive remnant of the United States government, and the other was made by Bethesda, both organizations being very unlikely to give detailed descriptions on their power armor's piss filters. Doesn't make sense that the APA would remove such an integral feature, though, so unless there's proof otherwise, it's safe to assume all power armors have it.
Im currently playing fallout sonora which is a fallout 2 mod which is a fan made fallout game and i just got power armour and its really interesting how people react. I frequently have to take off my armour because people don't talk to me and the rangers (one of the factions in the game) won't even let me into their base with it in my inventory.
Fallout 2, as a whole, is brilliant. Unapologetic, dark, wacky, but also quite hard at times just makes it excellent. I really liked Fallout 1, but Fallout 2 takes the cake for being the comical, long ass, refined version of 1.
Hopefully, now, everyone will understand when I say, "Don't call me sir. I worked for a living." Thanks, Amazon Prime, and the Fallout series for bringing them here.
i feel like the 4th wall break is just a little too blunt to be funny for me. it doesn't try to be subtle at all and instead just blatantly says the game's title which is really immersion breaking. the rest is great though
Fallout 2 didn't really have a coordinated writing team after the heads left early in development, so designers and such kinda put in alot of goof and 4th wall breaks to fill in the gaps. It definitely does get a bit grating at times.
"If you believe that armor intimidates me, you're right" lol
The armorer in Navarro will comment on your outdated T-51b armor if your wearing it when you first meet him.

2:02 She was still willing 😂. Only condition was that she’d still be able to breathe, not walk.
It’s the fact that she accepted so fast, she must’ve been intimidated
Original Fallouts… what a writing 🥲
😔
modern writers (and Bethesda especially) can only dream of this quality of writing...
Just finished fallout 2. Each character feels like a unique believable character and the dialogue, voice and writing elevates It to a new point
Yeah.@@Snakee423
"I am not a Sir, I work for a living" hahaha, perfect writing. Exactly what an NCO would say
The emotion in this character makes fallout 3 and 4 characters seem like they were acted by AI
No one can beat Dornan in emotion besides the Enclave communications officer.
Facts.
That tends to happen when games have little to no facial animations. They make up for it in VAs. But tbf, 3 and 4 have good VAs in some cases

Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics put 3, NV, 4 and 76 to utter shame.
We don't talk about Fallout BoS.
tactics is painfully average
NV was pretty good, obsidian did a great job with the world building and writing even if some parts were rushed
